I hit something on the road today, at 37 below zero. My right front tire started losing air quickly. I pulled into GCR tire just as the air ran out. THANK YOU Lord Jesus, for not making me change a tire out in the cold on the side of the road. THANK YOU GCR tire for fixing really fast! Great service and Coffee was good too!

GCR opens at 8am, during tire change over the line started at 7:15am w(� �)w! There's a drop off box for night before and if you're not able to wait for your vehicle.It's a first come first serve basis, so plan accordingly.GCR staff is excellent, effective and knowledgeable about tires, balancing and giving suggestions.Usually, about an hour to a hour and a half, depending on how busy the day.

My wife took her SUV here to have her winter tires put on. When they were finished there was a note about their system wouldn't work with her tire pressure sensors. Five minutes after she left all four were not working. All four were working perfectly prior to bringing her vehicle to them. They offered to replace them with new ones for a price. It seems to me that they messed up and want a customer to pay for their mistake.This used to be a reputable business. If they were the only tire shop in Fairbanks I would drive to Anchorage to get tires or tire work.

Could not be happier with this place! Jeremy and Travis were beyond helpful! This will be my first winter, and they went through the best options, to the worst, and the different variables of them with me. Just moved to Fort Wainwright from Fort Novosel and was in need of some winter tires. GCR let me drop off my car the first day I walked in. Got it back just a couple days later. I was lucky in that regard because October is one of the busiest months for auto shops in Alaska. One of my tires ended up leaking air around the bead of the rim (at no fault of GCR). I brought my car back in a few days later and they fixed the leak same day at no extra cost. Will definitely be returning in the spring to swap my tires back to my all-seasons.Service: Tires

On a trip from Chicago to and around Alaska we were in need of new tires. Read the reviews and decide to try this place. It was a good decision. We told Dustin what we wanted, he showed us our options. In less than an hour we were off and at a lower cost than we had anticipated. Highly recommended.

Got there bright and early with only one person ahead of me. I checked in I ended up being pushed back to fourth in line. Cost me an hour of my work today. I am satisfied with the job that they did. I am not satisfied with first-come-first-serve did not happen.

Very happy with the service I got from GCR. Showed up at 7:15am to make sure I could get my tires swapped since it's first come first serve, so my car was in the queue right away when they opened. They called me to ask if I wanted my tire pressure sensor that was out replaced while they had my tires off, which I appreciated that they noticed and asked, and my car was ready by 12:30pm. The representatives I spoke with on the phone and at the counter were very nice and made me feel like my car was in good hands. My winter tires were bagged and placed neatly in my trunk. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend GCR, and will go there again in the future. Really appreciate their work and good customer service.

Pretty solid shop, they had what I needed and got the job done. I was able to purchase a tire have the rim swapped from old tire, installed and balanced in under an hour. I highly recommend.

Got a quote over the phone that beat a competitor, showed up and had new tires installed in about 30 or 40 minutes (I didn't watch the clock), old tires bagged up and put in the trunk. Quick and easy, glad they weren't busy and were able to get me in and out.

Got me rolling twice now with a full set of 17.5 trailer tires. Guys are friendly and informative. Plus hot coffee while you wait.! Thanks guys!

Good guys. Quick service. Have to get there early if you need tires switched while you wait they only take 6 then you have to drop and wait up to a day or so. Like the first come first serve deal for the change over.I got there at 630am and was 4th in line so I made the cut today. Had to wait till 8 for them to open but was worth it to keep the wife safe and happy.

They answer the phone, are knowledgable, friendly and prompt. Great customer service. Prices are fair. They do quick turn around so that we can get the vehicle back to the the Alaska Floor Care Carpet Cleaning Fleet.

I had one tire changed out here. The customer service was exceptional. I brought my car in the morning when it opened at 8am, was out within an hour. I also brought my vehicle back 2 days later for a torque check and they quickly tightened all the lugnuts. Everyone I came in contact with here was friendly and helpful.Service: TiresService: Tires

This morning I had a total flat on my brand new Jeep and as a new customer, GCR had me in and out in less than an hour! My tire was completely repaired at an incredibly, affordable cost. My first impression of this business was superb. Professional, clean and efficient. Thank you, Dustin at GCR Tire for your great service! Definitely coming back to this shop for future business.

They are professional as they come! I called in and same day they got me in. They talked with me about all the tires that fit my vehicle and helped me find the best for! They didn't take long to install and when I picked it up they told me all about their recommendations for the tires to be properly maintained! Recommend them to everyone!!!Service: Tires

Great service. Best alignment I've had and my truck is highly modified so it's always a challenge to get a good alignment. Staff were professional, mechanic was knowledgeable, nice waiting room, and they got it done quick at a good price.

I highly recommend GCR Tires & Service if you are looking for a great product with outstanding customer service. This year I decided I wanted to purchase blizzaks tires for my car and possibly some winter rims. Everyone I asked told me to go see Dan at GCR Tires & Service. When I walked in to the shop it was very clean with a nice little waiting area and all the employees were very friendly and acknowledged me while I was waiting to speak with Dan. Dan went over the pros and cons for purchasing tires with or with out rims and how the different size rims/tires would affect the vehicle s performance driving in the snow. He even went a step further to show me the different websites I could go to that would help me decide on the rims I wanted and what they would look like on my car. Once I decided on the rims I went back in and told the employee at the front desk. He verified my current tire size and year/make/model and placed my order. The tires & rims came in faster then expected. I brought my car in this morning and they had the tires on in less then 2hrs. They even gave me information on a rebate that I wasn t aware of. The customer service and pricing of the tires and rims were better than the other local places I went to in town and I feel that I well taken care of at GCR Tires & Service.
