Well, the experience with this workshop has broken my trust in them. My expedition car came here on a tow truck. I found this workshop on the internet. They clearly state on their website that they know Land Rover. I got a repair quote from them, including the replacement of the transfer box, clutch and siemering. The repair was valued at over $7,200...I took the car from them. Unfortunately I had to pay over $700 for a diagnosis. In the process, they broke my clutch slave cylinder!I took my truck because I thought the diagnosis was wrong. And I was not wrong! The fault was correctly diagnosed in another workshop. Broken main shaft in gearbox. Clutch, siemering and reduction gear were good!!!The repair cost was almost twice as low...Really, it's best not to advertise if you don't know something...And wasted my money and time...

I've always had positive experience with repair/maintenance Frontline has performed. The appointments are kept on time, and when my vehicles are ready, I can pick-up/drop-off 24 hours with their dropbox and key retrieval system. But it starts with Frontline's frontline. Once Russel gets the wheels spinning on the job, your vehicle will be repaired in a timely, and most important, with Frontline's safety and quality work from the guys in the garage.

Do not go to this shop. They refused to give a price quote for the repairs they recommended. Are they trying to cheat people with non-transparent pricing?I took my vehicle into the shop for diagnosis of an unknown shake. The shop (very reasonably) recommended tire replacements, as well as other repair items. I said I would find more affordable tires on my own (compared to the Blizzaks they quoted), but that I'm interested in getting the rest of the repairs done following the tire replacement and to please give me an itemized quote for the repairs. The man I spoke to refused saying it would take "too much time".I wanted this shop to do the repairs following a tire replacement, but they couldn't be bothered to give me a general quote on the repairs they recommend. Customer's have a right to consent to what they are paying for.$279 for a inspection. This is already top dollar. A quote should absolutely be included.

Was in town for 2Days. Had an emergency breakdown and needed to get back to Anchorage. Leo said he understood and they were backed up but to bring it down and he would try to get me in. By next day Truck was repaired and ready to go back to Anchorage. Awesome service at a fair price. They are now our go to shop in Fairbanks. While driving from Fairbanks to Denali my car started shaking and a bunch of service lights came on! Luckily I was able to make it to frontline and their staff was so kind and welcoming and empathized with me! They were able to fix the issue and a few other problems that helped put my mind at ease. Great shop, they found a front end issue that would have been unsafe on my trip down the Alcan to lower 48. Very knowledgeable mechanic and office guys very friendly. As a side note: I live 35 miles away so had to wait during the work but they are conveniently located to Taco Bell and Arby's and also Fred's and Ace Hardware if you want to walk around to eat up some time.

Dishonest business, we were specifically told the blown transfer case was under warranty and after the vehicle was towed there they wouldn't honor their commitment. They also tried to scam us for transmission work on a transmission that works fine. Owner promised to look into the situation but we didn't even warrant a call back

The folks at FrontLine are friendly and honest. I ve used several other auto repair shops around the area and nearly all of them have tried to hook me with unneeded repairs or used some shady tactic to try and bleed my wallet. FrontLine didn t do any of that. They got my truck in quickly, on schedule and delivered on the service promised with a reasonable price. This is a solid outfit and the employees are straight shooters. I will be using this establishment for my repair needs in the future and I recommend others do the same.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

This is the best shop I have ever taken my vehicle to. As a young woman, it's hard to find mechanics that talk to me like a person and truly listen to what I have to say about my car. They treated me like family, and promptly fixed all of my concerns and issues from previous shops that had actually done damage and ignored several safety issues with my car.They're extremely professional, communication was excellent, and the price was very reasonable for the large amount of work that needed to be done (basically I needed a new front end). I even got brand new tires at a more than fare rate through it all.I recommend this shop for everyone, they are so nice and I had such a wonderful experience here. I won't take my car anywhere else!

I wanted to say that they were amazing and leaving the great review, however I am unable to do that. I went in for a wiring issue which they repaired I'm unsure of how long it'll last though. I get a call saying that my total is going to be nearly $1,000 due to my front CV axle boot being split. I go in and explain that that's not an option for me right now and that I just want the wire issue fixed. They fix it and actually give me a good discount and I total comes out to 140 roughly and then pay and I check my card statement and they charged me nearly$40 more. I check the bill and it states the $140 meaning they stole $40. And then go to another shop to get an oil change and mention the CV boot, they check it and find that none of my boots are split there's nothing wrong at all and actually that all looks great meaning that they wanted me to pay 500 plus dollars to fix something that wasn't broken. I will be contacting them come Monday about all this since it happened when they were closed Friday.Service: Electrical

I ended up pretty upset about the service I received since I made the mistake of not asking for a quote prior to my transmission flush. I ended up receiving a call from the Master tech, Jeremy, who first, listened to my concerns and then, explained their process in detail. They don't skip steps in their process and you do end up paying for quality. He also explained why the final bill was higher than it was supposed to be since they've recently undergone changes with their computer software, so I will be refunded a reasonable amount. He made a solid point about asking questions before or after services are rendered, which should be common sense. Bottom line, communication is key. They do their best to keep prices reasonable when compared to other places around town and they strive to provide quality. I just wish it hadn't come down to a complaint after the fact to ammend the situation.Service: Auto maintenance

I had them add suspension support to a new truck I'm going to be running heavily loaded. They were fantastic to work with - let me know what was going on, discussed trade-offs, and went out of their way to get the work done under my time constraints. The bill came in under estimate, too. Highly recommended!

Brought my vehicle in for brake service and to get a quote for suspension lift. I paid $347 for this, quote took a long time (like a month), it was eventually communicated to me by the mechanic that this was due to unique parts. Communication with service agent is not that great, throughout the process I ve had to call to get updates on everything or push things along. FLA is my go-to business for wheel alignments. They do timely, thorough work, and they are up-front and communicative about the needs and condition of my vehicles.This last visit (August 4, 2022), they had the misfortune to perform a four-wheel alignment on my relatively new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. This car was a "northeast" vehicle for its first three winters, and the road salts really corroded some of the bolts in the suspension! Their team let me know of the issues and possible delays, and they still managed to work through the difficulty to get my car to me the same day and at a reasonable price.Much appreciated and fully recommended!Service: Wheel alignment

They charged my wife $269.82 to LOOK AT her Jeep chassis. Then they quoted us $4652.70 to repair the front and rear end and perform the alignment.This Jeep was not eating up tires or pulling to one side. It had a wobble in the front end. I took the 2004 Jeep home and we installed a new steering stabilizer, one tie rod end, and the track bar for the front end. None of these jobs require special tools or even much experience.The rig drives just fine now. This shop saw a female driver and would have charged a huge bill for what should have been a small job.Shops like this give the business a bad name. I'm sure there's great mechanics that work there... seems like a case of greedy management to me.

From start to finish this was a fantastic experience! I was able to get my vehicle in timely, was given a fair and honest estimate of my repairs needed. They called my warranty company on my behalf and made sure that my repairs were covered and that I was aware of any other costs over the warranty. When I came to get my vehicle, earlier than estimated my costs were actually lower than my estimate! They took great care of my car and I am now a customer for life! And every employee I spoke to genuinely cared and acted professionally.

We had a fuel filter leaking diesel fairly quickly one morning. Called Frontline told them we were on our way. They worked us in and fixed the problem! Cindy and her staff are a great group of people! Thanks!

They are a kind and legit shop. As a professional mechanic for many years I do my own work. I brought my vehicle in for an alignment after rebuilding my front end. Leo was very polite and courteous. They did not try to sell me jobs that weren t needed. They did it in a timely matter and gave options for dropping off at night or early morning and pickup after hours. They are very mindful of taking care of there customers and making it easy. Thanks guys and great job. I know who to recommend now.

I stumbled into the front end shop one day when my car broke down just outside. I have been going back ever since and so has my entire family . They are extremely kind ,friendly, and professional. Always on time and quick to call me with any updates . Definitely made some friends along the way . I trust them enough to let them work on my mama s truck! The staff that works there were absolutely amazing and very kind! They definitely have great customer service skills, anytime you had any questions they were willing to help! The tech did an amazing job with getting all the work done is a very good time! They even look over the car and told me about some stuff (that I knew) by still the fact that they took time to right it down and make note of it to tell me (the customer). If you need an alignment service of any kind done and you have a lowered vehicle or just any vehicle this would be a sure recommendation. It s very true that you pay for what you get!

Dear car owners, I am writing this review because I absolutely loved the service I got at Frontline Automotive. For years I had heard about the front end shop and finally had good reason to go there. I recently purchased a heavy duty pick up and the front end was out of alignment and pulling hard to the left. I also had some miscellaneous issues like my domelight wouldn t shut off, and the truck needed an oil change and service. I had to wait a couple weeks for my appointment but it was well worth it. They called me and gave me an accurate quote, with lots of information about the truck, and then while performing the Quoted work they actually reduce my overall rate because it wasn t as much work as they had anticipated. Yes they charged me less than they quoted me if you can believe that? Anyways I absolutely loved their customer service and the work they performed on my truck. I will be Using them again and again and again as I have eight company vehicles. I had a great experience with Frontline Automotive. I was beyond pleased with the customer service. Definitely one of the most professional and knowledgeable staff I ve met as far as repair shops go. As a heavy equipment mechanic myself I have had very bad experiences with many shops in the local area.Not at frontline automotive. They did not try and BS me on repairs or parts. And the work was done in a short time. They were even willing to stay and finish my truck on a Friday,. I let them know it was not necessary. The fact that they were willing to do that, spoke volumes to me and the kind of customer service they offer.I highly recommend them for all your automotive repairsServices: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

These folks are OUTSTANDING! We've taken several vehicles to them over the years for front end, suspension, and alignment needs with excellent service. Their recent service expansion into general repairs for the entire vehicle system was good timing as we had some things to get worked on for several of our vehicles. Transmission, emissions system, and fuel system were all addressed expeditiously and at a fair price. Now our car with the most miles (190K+) runs like it's brand new again! Couldn't be happier. Good service and good people. They also did tire changeovers and alignment which many locations in Fairbanks are no longer doing. Excellent customer service. The mechanics checked the entire vehicle and called me and explained what they found. I had forgotten an oil change was due and they requested permission to complete that work. I was very pleased and impressed with the work and the staff. I have brought them my 96 Bronco several times over the last two years. They are always friendly and professional. I ve had spotty work done by other shops in the area that they ve corrected for me.
