They changed the tire of my spare tire, and a few days later my spare tire disappeared from under my car. They didn't fix it firmly, and the workers were very skilled. I won't come back again

Called today to check if they had any space available to check one of my tires, John answered the phone and told me I was welcome to walk in. I arrived and not even 3 minutes later my vehicle was already in the bay getting worked on. Fast forward another 15 and Matthew the Technician pulled my vehicle out the bay, handled me my keys and told me exactly what he had done(found a nail, removed and patched my tired). Super satisfied with this guys high level of service today.

Service is high quality. Mechanics are honest but cautious so will not use their insured shop to jerry rig sht tires. They also sell the good brands

Great service with expert advice. Went in for a tire change over and alignment for 2020 Series White Wrx Sti...they discovered an inner tie rod that should be replaced...their write helped me expedite a warranty claim with Subaru.

The service manager and I didn't see eye to eye. I came in to have metal valve stems put in my tires, and he said if it were his tires, he wouldn't do it. He was very abrupt about that. I didn't ask his opinion. I just wanted what i wanted. I provided the stems also. He's not good with people

I am highly unhappy with the service at this location. When we called on Thursday last week and got a quote for studded winter tires, we were told that it s first come first serve. It is difficult for me to be without my vehicle for an entire day so we asked if it would be possible for us to purchase rims and drop them off for them to be able to put the tires on instead of me having to leave my vehicle - which they said was perfectly fine. We dropped off the rims on Thursday evening - first come first serve - our tires should have been done the next morning. We never received a call throughout the day on Friday so we called shortly before closing and were told that they did not get to them today and they would be done Saturday morning. I called Saturday afternoon and was told that the tires would be done before they close that day. I asked them, if it s first come first serve then why are they still not done when we dropped them off on Thursday evening? I was told they only have a couple guys working back there and they were pretty slammed - he said they would call me when they were done. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. Now it s Monday, still no call so we had to call them (once again) around 2pm and ask when they would be done and were told an hour and a half. Finally got the tires. What an incredibly inconvenient experience. I ve never had an experience like this at American Tire, It s always ACTUALLY first come first serve and my service is completed same day. Why is it so hard to communicate with your customers? I understand being busy, but being upfront and communicating with your customers is a huge deal. I wouldn t be so upset if they had been honest with me.

Have gone there multiple times. Very nice and friendly group of guys. Went in with a panic on my lifted Jeep with 35s due to shaking and all if a sudden poor steering. Multiple guys asking me lots of questions...observed several doing a shake down on the Jeep and was told: your front end is fine but you do need an a alignment. I super appreciate walking in with a panic and basically being told to expect that with all of the aftermarket and 35s. I also appreciate so many detailed questions. Other places they just take your info and keys and that's about it. I will continue having this be my first choice go to place here in Fairbanks!

I had been coming to Alyeska for years, but no more, as they have lost my business, permanently. This spring, I purchased a brand new set of summer tires for my truck, at the cost of over a thousand dollars. Following this, I had asked to have two of my old tires mounted on rims as emergency spares. Alyeska tire refused to do this, claiming that the tires were "too old" and that company policy prohibited them from mounting these spare tires. The technicians in the garage were extremely rude about this, and did not even bother to inspect the actual condition of the tires, which are in very good shape, have well over 1/8" of tread. If at all possible, avoid doing business with this company. Their policies are silly, and the people who work in the garage are rude and unprofessional.

Great tires that get me through Alaskan winters. Couldn't imagine doing the driving I do for work without them!

In the past I have had good service with them. Today not so good. I got a quote for tires on Saturday for my truck. I didn't catch that they quote the wrong ply tires. I dropped my truck off at 7 this morning and at 4pm it still hadn't been worked on. Then a little after 5 they told me that they had quoted the wrong tires and didn't have the one's I wanted in the ply I needed also they had already broken down all my tires and I would have to pick something else. This fiasco cost me an additional $350. Not happy with the service there this time.

Amazing service! Showed up at 8:01 today and there were about ten people in line. The two gentlemen working were polite and efficient!I asked if they could reattach part of my skid cover in addition to changing my tires over. They called me about noon and said my car was done. When I paid for it they said there was no charge for the little extra they did and they actually aired my tires up to correct capacity.Exemplary service and attitude!!!

It has been 3 weeks since I put in an order for a tire that has insurance. Calling everyday and they would give me lame excuses about the tire not coming in and at a point they just keep putting me on hold for hours and I just give up so I would hang up. They are just short with me and it just sucks driving around on my spare tire because they wouldn t help me and my babies.

After a different tire shop told me I needed all 4 new tire pressure sensors, which I knew wasn't true because it's Alaska and when it gets 20 below it always says one of my tires is low, I went here and they checked all 4 of them right in front of me, and as suspected, all 4 were perfectly fine! They listened kindly as I proceeded to vent how angry I was at the other place for trying to swindle me! Prices here are comparable, but honestly, I wouldn't even care if the cost was a little more because they have earned my trust! Hubby had an issue with a tire that he didn't even buy there, and they let him choose a used tire and didn't even charge him for it! Good people that you can trust - highest recommendations from me!

It s the only place in Fairbanks to get your tires. They are consistently good with their customer service and advice on tires. Quit wasting you time and money on the other derelicts

I have a friend who is a brainiac, super smart guy who is studying to be a Doctor. He takes his car here for tires, and so that was enough of an endorsement for me! They have this amazing Tire guarantee and they stock only the best tires and have handy props to explain the differences between studs for tires. This place is the place for tires, worth the wait if you have to let them order some for you. They also have rims!

I called and asked Chaunce to get a wheel on the way for my truck which I had just broke a wheel on. Was told it would be 3 weeks to arrive. Every week I'd call just to keep in the loop. 3 weeks later I'm told that the real estimate was 4 to 6 weeks. So I wait two weeks later and there is still no sight of my wheel. Finally I call my friend who works there and ask him to look into it and I find out my wheel was never ordered. Got the wheel ordered and got the wheel 3 weeks later. Thank you Gabe for actually doing what I asked for. 0 stars for Chaunce but 5 stars for Gabe. Had to equal out to 3 stars.

This is my first stop in tire service. The tire specialists get the job done quickly, communicate care of tires to customers.

As a former business owner of an Auto Repair shop, I am always as patient as I wished all of my customers would be. So needless to say, when I no longer have patience, it s pretty bad...I called on Wednesday to make an appointment for a tire changeover and was informed We don t do that, we are first come first serve and we are booked up for the day I said No problem, I ll just drop it off tomorrow . I dropped the car off Thursday after noon, fully aware that they wouldn t have time to finish it (that day). I was informed We are booked up today I asked if I could leave the car so it would be done tomorrow (Friday) they said Yes . Fast forward to Saturday morning and I called to make sure the car was done. They said Sorry, we didn t get it done... but we will make sure it s done this morning! I show up 5 hours after I called (48 hours after I left my car with them). The man behind the counter looked confused and asked why I was there, and asked if they had called me to say the car was done. I said no, but I m here, and I ll wait till it s done. I sat and watched for 2 hours as car after car was pulled in for tire swaps, while mine sat untouched. After finally running out of patients, I explained to the man behind the counter that my vehicle was untouched for 48 hours and that After sitting and watching for over 2 hours as vehicle after vehicle went in before me, I felt like I wasn t being taken care of. I asked for my keys back. I was not given an apology and there was no effort put toward trying to fix how I was treated.I wasted cab fare, and days without my vehicle, for nothing. If Alyeska tire did well in the past, then it was only because Chris Evans held the place together.Save yourself the headache and just go someplace else.

At first I was a bit irked when my alignment took a long time. When I picked up my truck I found out they were taking the time to get my steering wheel straight, which I had been told by two other shops was **not possible**. And I didn't have to pay extra for this. Truck drives great, steering wheel is straight, and I'm a happy camper.

Been getting my tires their with friendly Service for 15 yrs...Got all 4 tires changed out very quick an economically sound fir the job done. USUALLY excellent Service with Chris Evans. But young guy at the register Think his name was Gabe. Acted like my questions were bothersome an had bad attitude toward well paying customer..asked simple questions got snobby attitude .Other guy was very friendly an answered my questions about 20" rims an tires with professional attitude.. would keep kids like Gabe in the back an away from dealing with customers if he doesn't like answering??'s related to future sales...Got 17's on truck but will be ordering new 20's rims an tires .. Other employee gave me an excellent quotes .unlike Gabe who didnt give me an answer..wont deal with him again..But Great product as usual happy with the new snow tires got us to Barrow breaking trail thru 3ft of snow fir last 200 miles on Arctic ocean

I highly recommend this shop. They installed a new wheel set for me quickly and for a good price. They went the extra mile to make sure they were installed right. Great quality work and I really like my new wheels.

These guys are great. We purchased a second spare and rim for our trip up Dalton Highway and they offered to buy it back if we didn't use it. They were true to their word. We then went to Denali and one of our tires lost a weight or something and developed a serious wobble. Back in Fairbanks, we stopped in and Alyeska Tire rebalanced it and we were quickly on our way. Fantastic service, professional, and friendly. I will recommend to the MilePost that anyone traveling the Dalton Highway stop in here for reliable treatment with integrity.

Decent shop, relatively timely, pleasant/professional enough employees.I personally had a bad experience because I was trying to get my tires changed from winter to summer, because they said if you bought them there and got it done that it would be free.So I tried calling in for 3 to 4 weeks trying to get in because I work 7-2:30 every weekday, and every time they said they were booked and will not do appointments because they're just first come first serve. So after calling and being rejected every day, I just took a day off of work... The process took two hours or so which is fine because people were there before me, but charged the $84 anyway.Like, if I knew it was a false claim that they change them for free then I would have skipped all that hassle and gotten them done somewhere else.P.s. The water jug was empty even though I was kinda counting on it lol

The ENTIRE staff is so amazing and patient! They figured out what the real issue with my vehicle was. They called all over the place for a part for my older truck that isn't made anymore. They went and got the part, which included taking it off the vehicle it was on for me. They even dealt with my craziness! I wish I was able to tip them. They did an amazing job. Thank you!

When I walked into the lobby I saw one customer sitting in the corner and two employees at the counter. One was busy talking on the phone and the other was focused on the computer. So I stood there for a couple minutes in front of them at the counter and never received any recognition. Okay, obviously they are busy. So I took a seat in the waiting area in within their sight and some minutes pass by. Another customer walks in and the employee at the counter decided to help him instead of myself who was waiting patiently.I just left after that. Now my situation was actually important. I haven t been able to get winter tires until today and this was how I was treated.
