The team at Alaska Refinishing were awesome!From initial consult and quote, to communication, to the actual restorations they performed for me I couldn t be happier with the service I received.These folks are a gem up here, and a must if your furniture was damaged during a military move and you d like it restored to its former glory.They went above and beyond to take care of our stuff, provided very quick turnaround, and left me a very satisfied customer.Attached is a picture of our library. All of these pieces were damaged in our move, and thanks to Alaska Refinishing, you d never known anything had happened!Don t hesitate to use these folks!

We moved to Alaska from NY and my grandmother's 70 plus year old hutch was damaged in the cross country move. The wonderful people here at AK Refinishing and Upholstery did a fantastic job repairing the hutch. Expectations exceeded, customer service excellent! Highly recommend there services. Thank you!

I accidentally burned my couch BAD and I thought it was toast (pun intended). The stuffing was mangled and melted, the fabric was crusty, and both the bottom AND top cushions were damaged. I figured it was a lost cause... and I just bought the couch new 6 months ago.I emailed Alaska Refinishing with photos of the couch, and they got back to me next business day. They asked me to disassemble the cushions and bring them in. The receptionist was skeptical due to the extent of the damage and not having access to a matching fabric. However, the repair professional took a look at it, and realized the backside flap could be used for replacement fabric. He quoted me $400 and said it could take two months. I was happy with both pieces of information.They didn't fix it in two months... they fixed it in TWO WEEKS!!! I am ECSTATIC!!! I honestly thought I would have to throw away this new couch, and I was wrong. Not only that, but they got it done in RECORD TIME. While it's not perfect, I am at a loss for words... because they took a lost cause and turned it into functional furniture again (with almost non-existant available resources).Thank you guys!!! I will be coming back again for any and all fabric needs in the future.

Highly recommend! Quality craftsmanship, fast & friendly professional service, offering hundreds of upholstery fabrics to choose from! Not only did this family business beautifully re-upholster a 3-cushion window box seat, they delivered it to our air carrier to freight in to Eagle!

I had my driver seat tore up and needed repairs on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Excellent customer service, needed to come in for a quote, even confused my appointment time and they still accommodated me. Only reason for 4 starts is that it was $225 for my repair which I thought was a bit over priced for a small portion of the seat. Other than the price, zero complaints and I would highly recommend them.

They did a beautiful and amAzing job on my 3 dining chairs.Impeccable attention to detail and craftsmanship! The places that needed (obvious)repair were so well done that you d never know that it was ever broken in the 1st place,and he brought out the beauty of the wood so I d easily have thought they were brand new oak chairs rather than 50+ year old redone chairs. BRAVO

I cannot began to tell you how happy I am with my chair. I am absolutely overjoyed with how it turned out. Alaska Refinishing and Upholstery exceeded all expectations. This beautiful piece of furniture will be a family heirloom. I highly recommend this business!
