I went here for dinner and to watch the Michigan-Washington College Championship game. Michigan won, so I was having a great night. And the Trophy Lodge had extra large screens so I had no problem watching the game at all! There is also a large projector screen in the corner behind the pool table.I had a couple local beers, the soup special (kind of a stewed chicken), and the stuffed mushrooms. The waitress was not only pleasant but also quick witted and very entertaining. Had a great time here!

Just sleep in your car. Seriously, they took double-wides and subdivided them into 4 rooms that share a single bathroom; the furniture makes IKEA look high-end, one of the tables was literally a sheet of plywood on cement blocks; beds weren t fully made at check-in so I doubt they were clean; it smelled and felt dirty. All this for $200/night?! There are so many other better places to stay - avoid this one!

Had a great experience and an amazing dinner after a long day of work. Alex is a fantastic chef, we were lucky enough to stop and grab her daily special (curry chicken wrap) for the evening. One can appreciate how much effort she puts in to every dish and delectable meal served. Lita, kept the company, service and drinks in the FOH! Also shoutout Brie for being a charmer and speaking so highly of the crew. Highly recommend if it s your first visit in delta, 100th visit passing through for work or if ya live in the area!

Great stay!! When I called my office to ask them to book me a room I wasn't sure what to expect, but this place delivered! The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They had a buffet of a variety of protein and carb options, which were all very tasty. The salad bar was better than any other I'd tried. Dressings looked and tasted homemade and lots of topping to complement the fresh spinish, lettuce and arugula mix. The rooms were cozy and VERY clean. Exactly what I needed after a long day in the elements.

Clean and comfortable room. The owner, Tim, was onsite the entire time and it appears that he has no quit in him. He was hustling to make sure everything was running smoothly, even as far as to be picking up scraps of paper in the parking lot when he was not doing something else. We ate the the meatloaf buffet(Sunday night) and salad bar and enjoyed it. Over all, we felt that it was fairly priced and was as expected. We will stay there again. Sam Frazier. Tallahassee, FL.

Do not let the exterior fool you. This Trophy Lodge is AWESOME! Try to find a bad review. Great food, buffet right here at the Lodge. A bar right here where everyone was so friendly. Fairbanks an easy drive down the highway. Very affordable compared to the crazy prices in Fairbanks and Anchorage. Stayed here 3 days and give it the highest recommendation.

Edit: This location is under new ownership and management (including kitchen) and the quality of food has suffered tremendously as a result. Occasionally the chef from one of the other restaurants in town will cook at the Trophy Lodge, and if you are fortunate enough to dine here on one of those rare instances, then expect good food. For the original review, read on. Unfortunately as of right now I can no longer recommend this location for dining out.Original review:TL;DR version: Great food, large portions, very clean, and better than average prices for the area. For the detailed read: Food cooked to order and was great! Large portions for the delicious meatloaf with sides (mashed potatoes with gravy and mixed vegetables that were seasoned well) and a juicy Royal Trophy Burger (egg and bacon were perfect) with crispy fries. Sliders (3 mini cheeseburgers and fries on menu) were on the larger side as well with toasted buns. Fresh salad bar (included with dinner) was great with best produce in the area. Self-serve soda fountain with refills is nice. Plenty of space and several televisions showing various sports (Rodeo and Hockey were on when we went). Did not sit in the bar area, but looked well stocked and the lighting was just right. There's pool/billiards and an electronic jukebox. Dining area decor was dated and basic yet still comfortable for what it is, but we came for food and were not disappointed. Everything was very clean, including the restrooms. Just moved here a few months ago and this was our first visit, but given the few choices in the area, we are glad this visit was great and we will definitely be back. The Chef (Mike) was very friendly. Briefly met the owner (has a sense of humor) and the bartender (who seated us) and both were very pleasant. They will be switching to buffet style service soon for the coming season, so we will soon see what that is like and update the review if need be. Cannot comment on the attached hotel since we likely won't be needing this while we live here for the next few years. Last big plus: they had a highchair for the little one, the straps were actually there and worked, and the chair and straps were CLEAN! Yes, the simple things are hard for most places, so we were pleasantly surprised this was right. Thank you for the orange sherbet ice cream at the end, too. We will be back again.

We were in a horrible car accident before the check in, and despite trying to cancel in advance over phone due to extenuating circumstances, offering police reports and proof of severity while dealing with the crash itself , they refused cancellation and charged me anyway.I wouldn t trust or feel safe sleeping in an establishment operated by inhumane individuals.

Very different experience than a hotel. When I arrived, the cook checked us in at the cafeteria register. The room was just big enough for the bed and nothing else. I met the manager while he sat at the bar with a drink watching football. Nothing bad, just different. The place was very clean and the food was good. Staff was personable. Place is good for where the guys go when the want to get away.

For the location this place is great. I ate the all you can eat pizza, wings and salad bar. The food was full in flavor an I felt was well priced. They have a full service soda fountain that you service yourself. There is a separate location in the restaurant area with a full service bar. The lighting throughout is perfect and big flat screens play PPV sporting events. Super friendly service that rivals great southern style hospitality. I will definitely eat there again.

Delicious food! They are open but reservation only, tables spread out. We got the trophy burger, chicken alfredo, kids mini burgers, and fried chicken. The food was amazing for the second time that we've been there. Best fried chicken I've ever eaten, and I'm from Georgia! LOL. They usually have a buffet but off season and due to COVID-19 it is a regular menu with 3 kids options. Waitress was amazing as is the chef. We live this place!

This place is pure awesomeness! Mike always makes my husband and I feel welcomed. We came in 45 minutes before they began serving dinner and he still fed us! The food is soooo yummy! The meatloaf and salad bar are my favorites!

The Trophy Lodge located in Delta Junction AK is very easy to find. From the Juction of Hwy's 2 and 4, continue south on Hwy 2 towards Tok, the Trophy lodge will be on your left, right by the City Welcome sign.Accommodations are spartan and practical, and for the price, a pretty reasonable deal. My room had two beds but they were split by the bathroom, which is nice if traveling with non family. My room also had a fridge, microwave a Keurig, and TV with cable. There was a tv for each bed area.Staff is friendly and helpful, and in the early evenings the bar and grill open up.There is also a small breakfast bar starting at 7:30.Overall was really happy with my stay.8/10 would recommend.

Best part of this place was undoubtedly the staff. Good people all the way around. Next would be the drinks and the food and clearly a great place to be able chill and get some hearty food in your travels. Pool table was nice. The rooms were very nice. The main concern I had with this place is a modern one. Lol. The wifi was horrible. Couldn't get a signal in the room for wifi at all. And the ATM had a problem and only worked once out of 6 times i tried it. Lol. Oh well. Can't win em all. I have the solution to your wifi woes so just let me know when you want help. Other than that. You have the best people working there. Keep em happy please

It's a bed. If I was in town working this would be great. Employees were nice despite the fact that we didn't manage to get there til 9:30. They were already shutting the bar down and the restaurant had been closed for a while.

We were there at a very unusual time. I was able to book the room at the hotel (lodge) online for the first weekend in January 2018, but upon calling them, I learned that they weren't even open or operating during that time and they were surprised that we were able to make a reservation. However, they absolutely honored the reservation and we were able to go and stay. We didn't meet with anyone, but they told me prior to arrival which room it would be and that it would be open and the key would be inside with the invoice. So, I can't comment of the facilities or the staff because all interactions were by text 1-2 phone calls, but the fact that we could go, even though we were the only guests (actually the only people) on the property was a big plus. Our room was in front of the lodge in Mobile homes and the room was clean and everything well prepared. The site said the rooms were queens, but they were only twins. I'm almost 6' 5", the beds were the only negative on an otherwise pleasant stay. If I were to go back, I'd ensure a room with beds bug enough, if they have such a room.

Buffet on a Saturday evening. Not worth the time or cost. Dried out semi warm hamburger patties along with hotdogs swimming in colored water. I have had better hotdogs and hamburgers at a rec baseball field for a lot less than they charged. For the cost of a buffet you should provide decent food. Very disappointing. I will not go back.

Stay away from this place. First, we waited 1/2 hours so they can give us the key to our room which you can not open after you locked the door. Then, we waited again for a manager to drive over to the lodge so that they can give us a different room, however, after 30 minutes later there is no heat (it s very cold in December and it s snowing outside), and WiFi is horrible , no internet. However, the staffs at the check in were wonderful. We called the manager again and no one pick up the phone and we left a message but no he never call us back. If you want to become a popsicle and freeze to death in the room in December. This is the place for you.

So this is a man camp advertised to be a lodge. If you are a solo female traveler stay far away. I was checked in by the chef and the next morning the power was out for over 3 hours and the chef seemed to act like it was normal. I was charged for breakfast even though I had to sit around for three hours while I waited for the power to come back on. There was also a sweater stuffed at the foot of the door to stop the draft wind from coming inside and hair in the bathroom. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. You never heard of the power outage two days ago and your chef doubling as the front desk?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good. The portions were to big for me. Only reason I didn't give 5 star was the latch on our room seemed to not function well.
