Incredible shop, these guys care about your safety and your cars health. They prioritize economically conscious decisions and do not try and sell you every repair under the sun to make a quick buck. An example of this is disclosing our brakes are safe but a little old but it is not necessary to drop 1,200 bucks to fix them when they re fine and we can deal with the minor mechanics a bit down the road, for now will keep it under $500.00. On top of their honest practices they have stellar customer service. You will get phone calls throughout the day with updates, diagnostics, requests for approvals, and an ETC. After years of dealing with dishonest car shops I am happy to have found our go to shop. 10/10 recommend their expertise as these guys work hard to provide top tier service for both your car and you, thank you all for such an amazing experience.

10/10 these guys are absolutely awesome! Literally the most pain free, hassle free, honest and transparent experience I have ever had with any mechanic shop. I came to them with my 2016 Chevy Colorado and had a service warranty from my dealership and they worked with me all the way through. They called about any changes, were extremely polite and helpful about all the decisions I could make and worked with me the entire time. John upfront was just an absolute badass and was great to work with. These guys went up and beyond to help me out. I ll never go to anyone else while I m here in Alaska, awesome people, fair prices, honesty and integrity on their part. Thank you guys for everything again and I ll be back in March to get some more work done!

Every now and again you come across people who actually care about their customers, people who go the extra mile to make sure you re taken care of to the fullest.That now and again just came in the form of John , Mike and the rest of the team over at Reformed Automotive. I found myself in quite a predicament and almost every car shop was either giving exaggerated prices ( without even knowing what was wrong), right through to deposits just to hold a day . Reformed not only offered to check the car , but also managed to fix the car and all in a matter of a day . To say I am grateful is an understatement, this is the definition of a family valued business. No heckling over prices just straight to the point and more than reasonable . Don t waste any time on those that waste your time and money, reform your choices in auto care and head over to the guys, you will not regret it!!!!!

The work done on our Toyota Highlander was friendly and prompt. One the technicians made some custom clips to fix our sunglass holder. The customer service and explanation of the work by Mike and Jonathan was also much appreciated.

I've had work done here on two of my vehicles. One was warranty work for a bad water pump, the other was chasing a check engine light for an evap code. Both issues were taken care of quickly and professionally. Great communication throughout the whole process and the repairs were done fast!

These gentlemen continue to provide honest and fair service. I respect their opinions, recommendations, repairs and as a woman I feel completely safe with my automobiles in their garage. They have even sent me elsewhere when it better suited me. Obviously they could have taken my money but they pride themselves in honesty and customer relationships. I'm grateful to have found them.

We chose Reformed Automotive based on these reviews and guess what they re right! This place is totally excellent.We needed a lot of different work done and they were very clear communicators about what diagnostics were necessary for each problem, what that would cost, and if those costs were potentially deductible from the repair.They gave us regular updates on the status of the repairs (including via text, which is awesome) and gave the car two different test rides to confirm the problem was solved. They also came in under their estimate.We had some travel logistics around pickup and they helped us figure out a solution to picking up our vehicle on a Sunday, too.Strongly recommended.

I've only ever had bad experiences with Auto shops in Anchorage, AK, but these guys were honest and were able to break it down to me about what was wrong with my car. I initially went in for an oil change and they were able to fix and let me know what was wrong with my car engine check light and fix my tires. Great communication, were able to call and give an update about my car. Didn't do any repairs unless I consented, which is a plus because I know folks don't like to be charged for things they didn't ask for. They were very kind!!!! and attentive!!! I usually hate going to auto shops or dealerships for anything, but these guys were very welcoming. Def recommend and will be seeing them again for future oil change and problems with my car! I will never take my car anywhere else and neither should you! Hands down the most diligent, detail oriented, genuine, hard working group of individuals at a car shop I have ever been to. I had my car in another shop for over a month, gave up on them, took it to Reformed, and it was in an out in less than 48 hours. Can t say enough good things about these guys.

Our vehicle had an issue with the intermediate shaft that was a warranty issue through Vito s. Reformed took great care of us and were quick in getting the parts to get our vehicle back on the road. Colton was outstanding and went above and beyond to keep us informed of the status of the repair. We were really pleased with the service we were provided and will definitely recommend them to others in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Reformed is the best auto shop I've been to. These guys don't try to take advantage of people, are forthright about what needs to be done, and have great communication. Their prices are very reasonable and you're easily getting the high quality and honest service that you're paying for. I'm no longer stressed about issues that come up with my truck because I know Reformed will take care of it thoroughly and honestly.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fixed my car battery issues when no other shops could figure out what was wrong! They were the only people who would actually listen to me instead of just trying to tell me to replace it, and that I don't know any better. I would've been in and out of the other shop and have spent hundreds of my precious dollars trying to figure this issue out if it weren't for them!! Best one I've ever visited, everybody was so warm and welcoming. 10/10 experience, only getting my car stuff done here from now on

The guys at Reformed Automotive are amazing. They were able to schedule my vehicle in to get checked over for some issues. They kept me informed of the process from start to finish. They gave me the price to fix the issue and were able to finish the job in a day so that I wasn't vehicle-less.Not only were they trustworthy and provided exceptional mechanical work but they educated me and taught me how certain things worked under the hood so that I could better understand what was needing to be fixed.I will be bringing my vehicle to them if there is anything wrong in the future. I highly recommend them!

I was in Anchorage when I started experiencing some concerning symptoms with my car. I was concerned about driving 5 hours home without getting my car checked out first. Jeremiah was able to squeeze me in the same morning that I called to check out my car and to let me know if it was safe to drive. They did a test drive, and a general safety check of the vehicle. Jeremiah was honest and let me know my car was fine to drive. They didn t even charge me anything! He didn t try to rip me off, telling me I needed to fix things that didn t actually need fixing. They have worked on my cars in the past and have always done stellar work. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Reformed Automotive to anyone!Service: Vehicle safety inspection

These guys are wonderful. I used to get stressed with car issues but knowing I can take my Nissan to Reformed Automotive has completely eased those stresses. They are very detailed on going over any issues and I never feel taken advantage of, which for a women can be really hard in the auto industry. I would completely recommend Reformed auto. Sam is also the nicest employee ever. I have never met such a kind man and appreciate the customer service provided.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

My family and I recently moved to the area and had heard horror stories about a few different shops in the area. I have a 2008 Tundra with an ABS system that went out, and was quoted more than $2,000 to get the system repaired by the dealer. I worked with Jeremiah and his crew to get a the problem resolved for less than a quarter of what the dealership wanted. Throughout the process Mike was fantastic about communicating progress, and before any work was started on my truck I was able to sign off electronically on an estimate. This is the first automotive I think of when people ask where they could get work done. First time there with my 01 chevy tahoe, they were very professional and quick. Wish I could've worked there myself

I can't speak highly enough of Jeremiah and his crew. We had two vehicles that needed major work in the same week (never a fun situation). After the problems were diagnosed by another shop, Jeremiah walked us through, step by step, what needed to be done, and worked with us to figure out what really needed to be done and how we could do it in the most cost effective way. He spent so much time patiently explaining things to us. Reformed Auto went way above and beyond our expectations in every way. Their communication was amazing, their prices are extremely competitive, and they did great work. We will be returning to this shop and recommending them to everyone we know. We are so glad to have found them!

I was referred here by my dealership and they are awesome! Not only have I taken my vehicle there but I also took my boyfriends vehicle to get an oil change and a general inspection for future maintenance. Their customer service is awesome and Jeremiah does a fantastic job at communicating what work needs to be done immediately on the vehicle and what work can wait. He works well with budgets and always offers me a fresh cup of coffee when I go inside. I definitely recommend this auto shop to anyone looking to support a small business with a welcoming family friendly atmosphere.

Just gained a new customer! I recently needed to get A LOT of work done on my Subaru, and received a great referral to Reformed. Jeremiah is very personable, super friendly and helpful explaining anything I had questions about. They went above and beyond on the work they did on my vehicle and the pricing was the best I found. Super happy I gave them a shot, and will begin taking my vehicle there for regular maintenance going forward.

These guys are quick, very honest, and effective communicators! I had a couple of things being repaired and was surprised to get my car back the same day. Their pricing is really good too! I experienced a customer-oriented approach with reformed automotive.

Reformed Automotive off 5th Ave is where I am taking all of my cars for their servicing from now on. I was extremely impressed by their service at a fair price. They took the time to personally walk me through all that was done on my car. I highly recommend them and anyone looking for very skilled and honest mechanics. They love to service Subaru s too! I price compared many other shops, but I received much more care and service to my Subaru at Reformed Automotive then I would have at other shops for much cheaper. I am a believer in their work for sure! You should at least consider them next time you look to have quality work done on your car here in Anchor town!

The guys at reformed are absolutely top notch. I took my 06 forester to continental due to a severe oil leak, and not only did they mis-diagnose the problem, they wanted to charge me an absolutely crazy amount to fix it. Reformed took a look, accurately diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed for significantly less than previously quoted from continental. No more oil leaks and I'm happy.

Integrity plus! I had my car looked at by two other shops, and spent a $1000 in the process of trying to fix an issue, which was never fixed. The guys at Reformed Automotive knew what it was but I decided to sell it instead of fix it. Took a new used vehicle to them to check out for me before I bought it and they did it without a charge, where Toyota was going to charge me over $100 just to take a look at the timing belt to see if it was OK. For a woman it's so refreshing to find decent honest people who are trustworthy. So convenient too. They have given me rides to/from work while they worked on my vehicle. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Jeremiah and the shop went above and beyond to diagnose the problem with my Honda and get it fixed. He was super friendly, got my car in quickly, and all was repaired at a reasonable cost. He even followed up the next week to make sure it was running smoothly.

Best in town! Customer service is professional and personal, their knowledge/skill base is dependable. These guys exude integrity and are the only shop in town I give full permission to do whatever they recommend. No hawking of unneeded services and price quotes are fair and accurate. I trust them completely.
