Quick and easy. Dropped it off before work and it was done by lunch. Decent price for oil change and tire swap, paid just over $200. Couldn't have asked for an easier time at this shop.

The process was fast and convenient. My car's make often encourages mechanics to overcharge for services, even for simple repairs. However, they charged a fair price. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The receptionist was a cutey too.

I drove down from Fairbanks & started having issues with my car's steering Midas got me right in an hour before they closed, no waiting! Despite the bad news of the problem with my car the woman that helped me was very polite and comforting Very helpful and knowledgeable!! knowledgeable I really appreciated the professionalism that her and the mechanic displayed while I was there!!Thank you Midas!!

Our truck stopped in a high traffic area with a narrow road. The mechanic from Midas came over and immediately did a quick assessment and without hesitation added, I m calling a tow truck. It was before a huge holiday and was frank with the work needed to be done and how much time it would take. He also said he had a couple people ahead of us who were already in the que and had priority. I appreciate someone who knows what they re doing, respects all his customers and gets the job done! The front desk technician understood the situation and was ready and willing to help with a gracious and understanding smile. You are straightforward, awesome and a good mechanic! Further you can handle a stressful situation calmly. Thank you!

I was very pleased and surprised at the level of commitment to service I received at this facility. First of all, I got there considerably earlier than my scheduled appointment time, luckily they took me in anyway and thankfully they got the job done in what I consider to be record time. And you know how we all hate to be sitting there waiting seemingly forever for our vehicles... kudos guys!!!

Took my hard top mini for an oil cooler leak but when I pick it up somehow the turbo is stop working. With no explanation on why or how it happen other than reassuring that the car is drivable it's very suspicious. Chris however did an outstanding costumers.

The battery and alternator just blew in my car and I got charged almost $900 in labor costs alone.I'm only giving them two stars because they did get it fixed by the next day which I appreciate, but if I knew they would have screwed me on labor costs and charged me $629 for a new alternator, I would have looked into other options to get it fixed. My total bill came out to just over $2100 with rear brakes, a new alternator and a new battery. That is absolutely ridiculous! I definitely got taken advantage of, so learn from my mistake and check into all your options before they screw you too.

I had a horrible experience with Midas back when I was living in Colorado so I decided to avoid having them take care of my vehicle, until it was an emergency and they were absolutely amazing! Staff is super understanding and they definitely try their best to help you. Not extremely overpriced (like half of places in Anchorage). What a pleasant surprise. I will be returning. Thanks guys!

Made an appointment for oil change, they were on time. And although they said they reserve 1-2 hours for car to be done, I was outta door in 30 minutes. So much better than my car dealership I used to go. And cheaper too.

Being a young woman in anchorage, I haven t had very many pleasant visits with auto shops, which is unfortunate to say the least-especially because vehicular maintenance is not my forte. With that being said, I could not have been more surprised with the level of care and treatment I received from the people at the Bragaw location. They were nothing but kind, informative, and patient with me and did an amazing job on my car. MASSIVE props to Tina, the tech who was up at the front. She s incredibly kind, has a great and appropriate sense of humor for the environment, and is very knowledgeable in her field. Will 100% be back.As a side note, I realized that there was less dog fur in my car after the appointment than there was when it was dropped off so that s a plus too:)

I have waited to write this review as I contacted their support they constantly tell bad review to go to and never got a response so I'm writing the review now. If you view yelp review that one has the videos.I brought my car in with no codes or errors just to get the car aligned as I had a slight pull to the left. I had an appointment and ended up having to wait 4 hours before anything even got done and within 15 minutes someone came out and said they would not be able to align it how they normally would due to it needing to be taken apart to be aligned and then was told it would be an additional $700 to get it properly aligned. When I declined to pay that much assuming they did not try to align it since it would take more time and money was told I still needed to pay $160 since they attempted to align it normally anyways. I tried to tell them I was not going to pay if they didn't actually do anything but then was told they claimed to fix the pull and the steering wheel just wouldn't be aligned. I wasn't going to argue with them and not get my car back so I paid, took my keys, and went to my car. As soon as I got in my car my steering wheel needed to be turned 45� left in order to drive straight and still had a pull. On top of that I was then getting error codes for trailer stability assist, hill start assist problem, vehicle stability assist problem, and power steering system problem. I ended up going to alignment center and they were able to fix not only the pull but were also able to center the steering wheel again and reset the codes. When I was asked where I took it previously alignment center said they have no idea what midas did to get the codes to pop up as it would have meant they messed with some of those systems. Would never recommend Midas to anyone because they not only don't know what they are doing but will greatly try to up charge any "work and repairs" they claim they do. If you need work other I'd recommend elsewhere

In the end I received my car back with a bolt missing on the steering rack mount, deformed rubber dust covers, clips not attached. When contacted about the mounting bolt I was told it could not be located. When I first picked up my vehicle after service, the receptionist told me the mechanic noticed the ESP light was on. Upon inspecting the steering column where part of the work was done I found the grounding wire for the airbag was disconnected and the wire harness for the ESP system was not connected. These are 2 major systems they left inoperative (on purpose?) which affect the safety of the vehicle. Ultimately I paid them to get my car back but had to finish the work myself.Not impressed at all with the level of care I received. Originally quoted for $130/hr labor to have the work done in as quoted price for 10 hours but ended up being asked to pay close to $300/hr when they finished in 5 hours so they could make the difference.Attached are pictures. I would be careful with whom you trust your vehicle. Probably not best to leave these guys as a last resort.Service: Steering & suspension repair

If I can give this place a rating I will give zero star. I drop off my car this morning at eight to get a check on some things and of course nothing happened and I did not even get any calls for an update on my car. I finally called at 2 PM and asked if my car is ready for pick up or what s the status on my car and the receptionist said nothing happened so I can pick up my car and drop it back off on Monday and I was like OK I got to the shop picked up my car did t say anything as I was already pissed and one of the technician saw me and asked me if I was picking up another car and I was like no my car is not that car and he asked me why was my car brought to the shop and I told him and also told him that my car was not looked at all and it s ridiculous that I drop off this morning and nothing happened and no update. Bad customer services!

Everyone who helped out at Midas was very friendly and helpful. My tires got changed and breaks were checked with no one trying to talk me into services I didn't need.The only downside was the price for the tire change was quite a bit higher than I expected.

Did what I asked and was happy with the work. Was not happy that the stuff in my car was rummaged through and of course my military gear got stolen. Not saying they did it but they sure did have the key to my car. Also they didn't start my car for a week and when the battery died ( cause its alaska ) they said "well if we can't jump it ur gonna pay for a battery". If you guys start peoples cars that wouldn't happen.

Called earlier this week for tire changeover appointments for our vehicles. I was able to get scheduled for this week without hassle. Chris and Tina were fantastic! Chris notified me of an issue with the sway bar link(s) during the appointment, explained to me what they were and how they worked, and gave me a breakdown of the costs. I asked if it would be possible to get it fixed before leaving and even though Tina and Chris were swamped with answering phones and assisting customers they were able to get everything squared away for me. Johnny had my vehicle in and out in record time.Thank you so much to Tina, Chris, and Johnny!!

Worst brake service ever. Brought my vehicle in because the calipers were acting up and they charged me for the wrong diagnosis. When I picked the truck up it had the same problem but worse and when I asked them to deal with it they said there was nothing they could do. Thank God for Muffler City and Big O s! I ll never use these rookies again.

Friendly and professional they find the issue with your car in a timely manner despite always being fullThey do a great job and fairly priced for work done the correct way, you'll need to schedule an appointment ahead of time since they're always full but worth the wait.And if you're on a budget however it's a little cheaper bringing your own parts

Chris was able to squeeze me in last minute for snow tires when 15 (yes 15) other shops all said no. They were friendly and stayed late to make sure everyone was prepped for the big snow storm. I appreciate them so much!!

They did a great job taking care of my car. The check was very thorough and brought a few things to my attention that I had not noticed need to be changed soon. Overall very happy with my experience at Midas. My only complaint is I can see Oily fingerprints on my hood where they closed it. My car is black so maybe the tech couldn t see it. But, out in the sun it was very noticeable. Also, under the hood there was a small oil spill on one of the covers. It didn t look like they bothered much to clean it up.The lady at the front desk was super helpful during checking in and the young man as well during check out. Overall happy with my experience besides those two things stated above. I hope everything else on my oil change went well.I should note, I typically change my own oil but someone gave me a free oil change coupon at Midas. Also, I worked at an oil change station for a long time and familiar with the process.
