On 11/28/2022 my wife took our 2021 Kia Rio to Lithia Kia in Anchorage for an oil change. The appointment was scheduled in advance, but the service department took approximately 2.5 hours to change the oil. After the vehicle was retuned, my wife noted that 21 miles was put on the vehicle during the 2.5 hours that the service department had the vehicle. Later that day, I contact the service manager and advised him of my concerns and asked to be reimbursed for my oil change because they had driven our vehicle without our knowledge or consent. The service manager stated that he would view security footage and look into this matter. Later in the week I attempted to contact the service manager, but no one answered the phone in the service department, so I left a message. To date, no one has called me back regarding my concerns. While I would like to be reimbursed for the oil change, my bigger concern is employees in the service department ripping people off by using customer's vehicles for personal business without the customer's knowledge or consent. I would like to know the results of the company's investigation into my complaint and the corrective actions they have taken to ensure that other customers are not taken advantage of. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Lithia Kia failed to respond.Service: Oil change

I would have to say that ERIC in service saved the day on this one. I completely understand there's alot of moving parts between sales, finance and service. I had some really rotten service by both managers of finance and service unfortunately but Eric was able to calmly help and communicate with GM who was aware of our problem since the car was sold. I'm not to sure why the managers were not able to understand me after telling the story 4 times but hey Thank you ERIC your the mvp in this and should get a Huge raise or promotion or something!!! Also Eric the GM and Sam the seller all did phenomenal jobs at handling a poor situation.

My husband and I BOTH just bought vehicles from Lithia KIA of anchorage. Let me start this off by saying I am more than satisfied and had the pleasure of working with Alex Welch. Thank you Alexander for making the exploration and decision making process easy for my husband and I. I have financed a Subaru in the past. Subaru of Anchorage was going to be my first stop until my husband told me about the outstanding service he had received from Alex. I work in sales myself and there was truly no coercion to buy this car other than the amazing customer service we received from Alex. I was convinced I would never buy a KIA and stick to what I know (Subaru)... But I ve never met a sales consultant that pays so much attention to a customers needs. From the showcasing the details of the car, to offering my husband and I drinks, to providing data and answers to questions and handling our needs in a professional manner. To never just slapping a monthly payment on the table, giving up and saying that s the price, take it or leave it. I walked out of the dealership happy with the car I m driving knowing I got my car for a good price, it has everything I need, and I don t have buyers regret. Alex genuinely wanted us to get what we wanted. What a convenience to have a sales consultant like this near me and how lucky KIA of Anchorage is to have Alex on their team. I would be a returning customer FOR SURE... Unfortunately my husband is in the Air Force and we ll be PCS ing out of here in a few months. I also want to include Augie Alvarado (Finance Manager) for making the end of the process and transition go as smoothly as possible. Nevertheless, it s been a pleasure.
