Im team Toyota all the way and will say this review is only for their service department. I have had two back to back bad experiences with the service department here. If there was another dealership closer I would opt to not take my vehicle here anymore. A mistake was made on the first of these two visits. I was annoyed but understand stuff happens. They did not even dictate a good record of the mistake in my vehicles record. I made an appointment to have their mistake fixed and they seemed clueless about it and had to ask me what happened and seemed very disorganized about it. They didn t seem to want to own their mistake that they originally told me about and had written on my first visit check out paperwork. Not too comforting when you re fixing a mistake you made. I ve just had such top experience at other Toyota dealers that to have bad experiences here was a let down. I think they need to work on their communication and organization.

The few times I actually used my factory service plan were pretty abysmal. In every instance I spent over two hours waiting for a basic inspection. In one case, they declined changing the oil and suggested that a 10K mile service interval was adequate. It most certainly is not. Especially in Alaska driving conditions. During a visit where they actually did bother to change my oil, they over torqued every single faster associated with the job, especially the plastic oil filter housing. This was over torqued to the point of being damaged. I will never let this shop anywhere near my vehicle again. They specialize in ripping off hard working Alaskans and provide terrible service, as evidenced by the other reviews.They have also deleted this Google listing in the past in order to erase all the previous negative reviews. That's how bad this outfit is.

Every time I go there for oil change they always add more to problems to my car I end up paying a lot for oil change. Got my transmission and whatever changed and oil change paid a hefty bill. Then they tell me now it s my brakes and roter 3 of them. I declined on that but had second opinion.. only two needed to be replaced and I saved more money I m thinking of going elsewhere where they won t keep telling me this needs fixing and I pay more every time I go. I don t think they are very honest me every time.

They just charged my sweetie over $500.00 to tell her that the things that she asked them to repair, needed to be repaired. They aren't even going to take the cost of their "diagnosis" off the final bill to repair the things she asked them to repair. She never asked for a diagnosis, she knew what the problems were and thought that she was making an appointment, weeks in advance, to repair those things. Beware of this service center.

We got an oil change here for our Jeep and they found a transmission leak. We scheduled a time to get the transmission leak looked at with them and waited a month and half. We go to our appointment to drop off our vehicle and they tell us they have no Jeep technicians at their location and that we'll have to try scheduling at a completely different dealership (with a new wait time). Why did they schedule us for an appointment, take our vehicle information, let us wait a month and a half, then tell us when we arrive at our appointment that they never could have helped us anyway because they don't have the right technician? They don't care about anything, but making a dime off of you.This place seems to be as bad as the word on the street. Would recommend you find another place to take your vehicle for servicing, even if it's more expensive. No trust in this company.Service: Transmission

I don't have a brand new car but I do like taking my car To the dealership because I would hope they would do A thorough job but I was a little bummed when I went and picked my car up. And there was so much grease in the driver's side door and on my seat cover like day. Wipe their hands all over it. And my hood came flying open on the freeway. Going home at 70 miles an hour and bent my hood.

I've brought my Tundra in several times for the ToyotaCare service. Always an organized, efficient drop off for service. Comfortable areas in the lobby to work while you wait. Checkout is just as efficient and organized.

We've had an abysmal experience with this dealership. We bought a 2022 Hybrid Sienna Limited last year from a Toyota dealership in Wyoming. Since then, we've moved to Alaska. Shortly after moving here, the van's 12V battery began to die overnight. My husband would need to jump the van every morning. We mentioned this issue at the van's oil change in October, and it was not addressed. We took it back to the dealership in November 2022, to be told nothing was wrong with the battery. I'm honestly skeptical if they even checked anything other than the battery's health itself. We took it home, only to have it die that very night. It progressed to dying every single time the car was turned off, needing to be jumped multiple times daily. So, we returned to the dealership again. This time, they apparently found multiple things wrong with it. They did not have the parts to fix it, needing to order them. No timeline, cost, or details of the repairs were explained. When we asked how long it will take to fix the car, they could not give us an answer. They promised us a safe loaner vehicle to rent (for $41.50/day) that could handle winter driving. We live over an hour away (during safe road conditions) from the dealership- my husband drove for 3 hours on the Glenn in treacherous conditions to pick up the said loaner. Only to be told they had given it away to someone else an hour prior to his arrival. They offered him a beat-up 2004 Corolla with no AWD/4WD or studded tires, both of which are preferred to safely drive in our winter conditions. Needless to say, he declined as he values his life. The service department has had our van for almost a week now, and we have yet to receive any updates beyond the brief initial call. We have tried to call the dealership multiple times over the past 4 months throughout this entire ordeal, I've never been able to talk to a service technician or manager. I've only received empty promises of a call back, and have never received a call. Unfortunately, due to the vehicle being a hybrid, there are no other mechanics in this part of Alaska that can safely work on the van. We've owned this car for less than a year and we've had this issue looked at 3 times- I simply do not understand how there is something this catastrophically wrong with it. We still have yet to receive any communication about what is actually wrong with it. I also don't understand how the dealership expects us to pay $41.50/day indefinitely for a loaner car. I do not feel we should be paying for a loaner or any of the repairs. For a brand new vehicle with all of the warranties we purchased with it, I expected better. I'm incredibly disappointed and honestly angry at this dealership, as this van is our main family vehicle and the lack of care is absolutely unacceptable. I sincerely hope they can repair our car and our working relationship, because as it stands, we will never be returning back to this dealership again.

Had an appt. Got there 5 minutes early. Waited in car in front of bay door for 15 minutes. Watched cars go in and out. No one even said hello. Went inside found no one. Shouted. No response. No one even looked up. If you're a woman don't waste your time. You will be invisible.

I wanted to believe that all the bad PR I've heard from friends and other social media wasn't real. But it is. Toyota RAV4s have an issue with their torque converters.$5000 repair. Mine was past manufacturers warranty. But I had an extended warranty that covered it. By the time I got it to the dealership and the parts came in. My mileage was over the extended warranty mileage. My warranty covered rental car while it's being repaired. My service technician did not do his due diligence and also rounded up my mileage. My fault for not knowing he did it. I'll learn to take pics of mileage from now on. Service manager was not going to let me get my car back unless I paid for parts or restocking fee. And I also got charged $400 more than what those parts cost. There are plenty of shops that do their due diligence and won't overcharge you on parts. This place treats their customers terrible, managers could are less. You are just money and not a person to them. I found another place to do the repair with parts for half the cost.

Wife scheduled 100k service on her car last week. Told them it also needed tire sensor looked at and a oil change. Was quoted abt $650. Took it in before 8 this morning. When she picked it up. They had done the oil change and told her she needed the tire sensor checked, coolant flush and cabin air filter replaced. The last 2 should have been done in the 100k service. When she complained to the manager his comment was maybe they did not have time. Final bill was for an oil change that we could have gotten cheaper at Jiffy lubes and had it done in 30 minutes not 5 hours. Won't do that again.

Had the brakes on my Tundra done last year and back again this year because of rotors. Last year they didn t identify that the rotors would need replacement before long. When you get both front and rear brakes done you re not expecting to be back a year later for more work and would like to have that option rather than leave trusting that all the needed work is done and your good for a few years.Now, they no longer have courtesy rides that can be prearranged. They attempt to arrange Lyft once you re there. Lyft was non existent and they had no Plan B. So I had to wait for them to find someone to drive customers in a van around town. The driver had no priority for who was dropped off first, just those that were closest/easiest not the one person who was late to work and missing meetings due to their unprepared service department. I would have scheduled the service work for a different day had I known they were this disorganized and not capable of coordinating rides. When their Plan A fails, they don t have a Plan B or C prepared in the name a good customer service. Between suboptimal brake work and customer service I would discourage using Kendall Toyota Service Department.Service: Brakes
