I wish I could give 0 stars. it s nearly week 4, still no car or any answers on when I will be able to have a car. We have been calling every half hour trying to get AT LEAST some answers, and nobody can give us a straight answer or at the very least even ANSWER. We were told our car would be ready LAST Friday, and then we were told it would be dropped off to us YESTERDAY. i can see now why the reviews are so poor, and I feel sorry for anyone who doesn t check the reviews before choosing to send their car here. We have one vehicle left, and due to the extensive driving it now has problems of its own because it wasn t meant to be driven in this kind of snow ! We thought this was temporary but we haven t had a reliable car for the entire month of January. Kind of thinking they should be paying our January car payment since it hasn t been driven by us ONCE. Get your s h i t together before you call yourselves a service center, Im tired of this.

The mechanic and the lady at the front desk lied to my face not once, but 3 times. I had a cord hanging from underneath my car and asked them to take a look at it and fix it after getting "The Works". Oil change was good, this is why get 1 star at all. They didn't catch that my battery and calipers needed replacing and didn't even check the battery ( the paper had no writing on that section). The cord was still hanging after waiting 2 hours. I asked if they looked at it and they said yes it was fixed. It was not. I told them to look again and please fix it. They said they would. 5 minutes later no fix and they rushed me out the door and said it was taken care of. They did nothing and lied to my face. Terrible experience. Worst Ford Service in the country. I recommend a local shop with good reviews. Unfortunately, Ford Dealerships in Anchorage are just not trustworthy and lack the service of Ford in the Lower 48.

Tiana was helpful in listening to my issue with my vehicle. I appreciate her working to make an exception to their standard service policy to help me out.

This is the worst Ford service centre in the entire country. We were first in line at the quick lane and three or four people who came in after us left before us. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do our oil change. They then told us we needed a $2000 brake job. That does not include the calipers. That isn t for all four sets of brakes just the rear. I understand now why they only have 2.5 stars out of five on Google reviews. I really wish I had checked in advance.

I order all my OEM Ford parts online off of Ford's site and pick them up at the stealership. Really disappointed a few times with the parts department.

Not much alternative in the 'hood to get the 7 y/o Ford auto worked on.There was some temporary confusion when the warranty for a part (expensive installation) was under question ; however, with a review of the records my local Ford dealer to replace the part, relieving the budget!I am happy, as the service department works hard during the pandemic with a skeleton crew at times for minimal recognition.

Made an appointment to repair my fast blinking blinker and questioned about how to replace my windshield.Went to appointment left my NEW 2022 bronco which was scheduled specifically for a blinker issue..Got a call a few hours later that it was not a light bulb but an electric issue. I was told to make another appointment for the blinker issue. However my mindset would be this appointment was for that issue it s on you to get the parts needed to fix the issue of the blinker or repair not to push me back and make me schedule again. (Waste of my valuable time). For the windshield crack I was told to call badger glass because they fix windows for ford.So I scheduled another blinker appointment for like another 4 weeks out .Then proceeded to call badger glass as told to do so by the Service lady.Badger glass told me that I would have to call ford about my glass replacement and get a p.o number in order for them to replace it. I was not directed to do that by Ford.So I called ford back and they told me to come in so they can look at the windshield even tho I was just there and inquired about it they had my vehicle there the day that I had inquired and could have took the 5-15 mins to quickly determine if my cracked windshield was a stress crack. But instead they told me to come back during my free time so they can look at my cars window to tell me if they can replace it and give me a p.o number.Very bad scheduling conflicts and bad organization/lack of knowledge from the staff about window replacements and what s needed in order to do a replacement for referring us to go to badger glass.Lack of supplies or staff for the appointments they had scheduled prior for a blinker issues.Wouldn t recommend using them if your a everyday working person who don t have time for tons of different appointments.Services: Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance

Recall service was easy, but took months to get appointment. No shuttle to downtown any longer.

I always have great interactions with Ford. It did take a while to get it in, but they are fixing a recall on our vehicle. A little worried there for a moment but we were able to get the last available loaner rig while they have working on it. Everyone was very nice and professional!

Kendall replaced an engine in our 2016 Escape. We reported noting an oil leak showing up on our garage floor right after the car was returned. We were told to schedule a time in the "next few weeks" to have the leak addressed. Called in September and was told no appointment available until November. Showed up in November and was first told there was no record of an appointment being made, but when we called BS, we were told some out-of-state outfit had set the appointment for a date it shouldn't have. Not even sure what that meant, except maybe "pass the buck." We were told Kendall would get us in as soon as feasible. In the seven weeks since then, we've not heard a word as to scheduling. Grant Olsen should be embarrassed by this, but I doubt he knows about it.Service: Engine repair

Did front brake line recall and left one lug nut hand tight. Five others I couldn't get loose with my tools. Guess they don't know what a torque wrench is.

I was ready to give a mediocre rating, but something changed.I had trouble with my remote key not working even with a new battery. It turned out to be an issue with the remote module inside my car. It had been 3 weeks and my car was still in the shop, so I'd grown frustrated. I started to assume that they were not working on my car at all. I thought about giving a negative review, but immediately thought, "that's not going to help me get my car back."So I did my due diligence and contacted Hailey, if I could schedule to meet with the mechanic that's supposed to be working on my car. She agreed and I came in on a Saturday and had a chat with Todd - who's had more than 30 years of experience as a mechanic. He told me of the different approaches and steps he took to try and figure out the issue, but admitted that he's never seen a car behave like this before, even with all the fixes. He explained that the delay had mostly been trying to contact Ford's higher division to send over a technician for further assistance. I was still a bit skeptical, but he showed me the log of his correspondence with Ford and it, indeed, proved that he did his part and was met with responses such as "try this instead, or try that" without getting a technician over. He then decided it's been long enough, so he worked on my car on a day he's not scheduled to work on... and finally figured it out.Long story short, I was car-less for about a month. Instead of overstressing at the situation, I decided to see for myself what was going on. This verified the problems encountered by the mechanic working on my car. May this review be of help to others - to see things for yourself first and be careful not to let your emotions guide your decisions.Thank you once again, Hailey and Todd.Service: Electrical

I have tried calling for parts all day. I have made at least ten calls to kendall ford anchorage and three calls to kendall ford wasilla. ZERO answered when transferred to parts and all I get is voicemail ! Looks like people don't want to make money so I will spend it online where I know I will get what I need without having to call a local dealership. It is downright frustrating when you have parts people that don't answer phones. Highly disappointed in this company.

As the only Ford dealer in Anchorage, you have no other choice. I has an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks, on the day of appointment thatbshoud have been a 1 day appointment, took an extra day. (brake master cylinder swap, and programming a update to the software in the transmission). They called at the end of the day having done only the brake master cylinder replacement. Apparently they couldn't program the software in the 8hrs they had the truck. Then took all of the next day to program it finally... only to have it exhibit the same issues as before the "programming" (loss of speedometer, loss of tachometer, loss of milage on the dash, then a trans that is stuck in 3 gear). All the same issues I had before the "programming". Truck has 95k and is a 2013. Not many miles for a truck of its age.

I had an appointment for July 7th for recall on both the transmission and the door drove all the way from upper Eagle River was on time and they proceeded to tell me the part was not there they never called me and told me that before I drove down. didn't make any excuses except tthat they said my paper work got lost in the shuffle. So I drove down today September 22nd because they never called me back. I had to call them for an appt. they've kept my car all day long after I drove down there for 9:15 AM appointment and said they didn't get to my car today and maybe tomorrow they didn't know. I can't stand Kendall Ford or anything Kendall owns. They have a monopoly on car dealerships and just don't care after they sell you a vehicle!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could I would give negative numbers for this company. Truck has been in the shop several times for the same issues. Now there is a recall and can t get an appointment for over three months. Every time we need to get something looked at or fixed it is given back to us with a different issue. The mechanics forgot to hook up a wiring harness an we broke down 80 miles out of Anchorage. This place is unbelievable ..Service: Auto maintenance

It has been eight hours now and my tires still are not finished. On what planet do you have to make an appointment to drop your car off to get your tires changed and then it takes more than 8 hours????UPDATE: It has been 8.5 hours and they still have not put my tires on. Nay nay, they are telling me that the tires (which were on the car when I purchased it and when I changed it at the dealership) are too unsafe to drive on and they won t put them on the car. So I have to purchase a new pair or drive home on my STUDS. This place employs straight up clowns. Seriously will not be returning. I thought going to the dealerships would have been easier. Boy, was I wrong.Services: Tires, Oil change

Horrible experience. Will never return. I was to have my power steering pump changed.Monday - showed up 1030am like scheduled, but turns out that's just a "diagnosing" time. Fantastic that I find out on the spot. Michael, the guy doing my intake paper work, said it would likely been seen later that day and he would call me before the end of the work day and the car would likely be worked on Tuesday AM. Then we got an Lyft home but Michael put my number in wrong so I never got updates. But another person corrected that. Fast forward to then end of the day, no call. So I call ~330pm and have to leave a voicemail. I get a call back at 455pm (they close at 5). Michael went home early and never handed off my paperwork so the car wasnt seen but I was "assured" it would be first in the morning. Luckily I had Tuesday off work.Tuesday - no call until 1030am. Michael starts the conversation with all business - "we couldnt find an active leak and are still diagnosing". He disregarded the whole Monday event. He ended the conversation saying the fix will likely be late Thursday or Friday because now there's a car in front of me....because he forgot to hand in my paperwork. He asked if that's okay. I told him it's very inconvenient then he said sorry for Monday and was willing to take 1 hr off the mechanic's time. I told him to let me know what they find so I can choose a cheaper route as I bought an aftermarket pump already. No call so I called and left a voicemail at 440pm.Wednesday - my wife called in the AM with no answer and a voicemail. They called me back and gave me my options- use THEIR pump with 2 yr warranty or use MY pump. Come to find out it was cheaper to use theirs and return mine. So I told him to use THEIR pump. He agreed and I asked more about the warranty.Thurs - we left voicemail at end of dayFri - they called us at 230pm and told us car is almost ready. My wife got off around 345pm and was able to pick the car up. The price was WAY cheaper than quoted and I thought they did us a favor. Later we went to return my pump, the Oreilly's worker pulled out an old pump core...they used my pump when I made it clear to use theirs. And guess what. We still have the same problem we did before. I paid some "master mechanic" $150/hr to diagnose the issue and he failed. Michael failed me. Ford failed me. Never again. I would rate a 0/5 if I could. I'll likely soon sell our car and forbid my family from EVER buying Ford.

The only reason I even consider using this place is because they can do Ford warranty work. They are horrible mechanics, do not answer the phone, do not call when they give you a time they will call you by, and I ve taken my truck in 2 times for 5 days each only for them to tell me my issue is fixed. They say they have checked to make sure it s fixed. As soon as I drive it home I see the issue is not fixed.Service: Auto maintenance

Had to have my vehicle towed here for repair. It sat for over 3 weeks, my insurance adjuster and I spoke to them every couple of days asking them when they would be able to look at it and they continuously said today or tomorrow and so I tried to be patient and wait. I get one month of rental car coverage. I shouldn t have been so patient and waited because I ended up having to take it somewhere else when my 4 weeks of rental car coverage was almost up, and I had to then pay out of pocket for a rental car for 4 extra days while my car got repaired from a shop that actually made time for my car. The additional days for the rental cost me over $100. Oh and turns out all my car needed was an alignment and new tire. This place is a joke. It would have been one thing if they had been honest and told me they had no time to look at it for the next 4-5 weeks or whatever amount of time, but instead they wasted my time and money.

Very disappointed in this dealership. Complete rip off. They didn t reset the MyKey in my vehicle like Alannah and I discussed. center console was broken while being serviced, my rear end is shaky and the alignment pulls WAY to the left. ALSO. there s a ticking coming from the motor that wasn t there upon drop off. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. RIP. OFF.

The Parts department here is a complete and total joke! The guy with the Hispanic accent needs to be terminated. His customer service skills are absolutely horrible. Just based off this experience I will NEVER shop at this location nor will I ever purchase a new vehicle from here. Unreal. Very argumentative and unprofessional. Shop somewhere else people!!
