The Culmination team was amazing to work with! I brought them my 1971 911S for the start of a restoration process and they did amazing work, they communicated great, and helped me make a plan on how to proceed with my vehicle to suit my unique situation with the car. The knowledge this team has on these classics is unmatched and every time I come in I learn something new. This was a truly exceptional experience and I hope to get to do more with the team in the future, see you at the next Porsche Club event!

Last year I inherited a low mileage, well kept, 2004 Porsche 996 Cab. From what I had heard in the community CM was the shop to use for inspection and repairs. Shortly after I took ownership of the car, during a spirited drive, I heard a pop and the dreaded check engine light came on. The car was not idling well, power was way down and it sounded horrible! I brought the car to CM and Ralphy quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me it was going to be a fairly major repair. He provided a detailed estimate, ordered parts, which took time to arrive due to back orders, and repaired the vehicle. Honestly, I thought the problem was terminal but Ralphy and his crew were able to fix the car. I am quite certain it is running smoother and better than it has since it left the Porsche factory. This car has enormous sentimental value to me and CM was able to get it back on the road for hopefully many more years to come.We are already planning our next vehicle purchase making sure it will be a car that CM and Ralphy will work on. Spent $2,678.90 at this shop in order to repair an issue related to a misfire on my vehicle. This shop in the end following the repairs that didn t resolve my misfire told me I needed to continue to pay for additional expensive repairs in order to maybe fix the issue. Wouldn t trust this shop due to the fact there were multiple attempts in the shop, 3 to be exact in order to resolve the same issue and it had just been more money out of my pocket each time.

I see a lot of five star reviews which is great. I however did not enjoy my experience with this business. Would I recommend them to another friend, absolutely not. I did not feel as though my business was appreciated, and was told to pay before the services were performed, only to come back and find that my car had sat outside the entire time and was not done.I was then told to drop it off again on Friday and that it would be done Saturday, but to my surprise on Saturday, I get word back the earliest it will be done is on Tuesday of the following week. Not only did they not confirm with the alignment place a date before telling me one, but they blamed the inconveniences on the other business.I've dealt with many businesses like this before, but good business practice is a must, and I do not feel as though it is being practiced here. If you aren't a regular client, or have the time to have your car delayed as they put others ahead, take your business elsewhere.Lastly, of the parts they did manage to install, the outer tie rod lock nut was not tightened, leaving me to believe that even after telling them I needed the car to drive to work, the carelessness could have cost me my life had I been on the highway. I should not have to check the work of a "certified" mechanic.Take this as a two cents, but there are other places that will be less judgmental and more appreciative of a potential client.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Great experience with Culmination. They have worked on my Boxster and my 914. The boxster needed a IMS bearing replacement. The work was done quickly and professionally. The 914 required a engine change out, suspension upgrade, brake upgrade and wheel upgrade. Minor interior work. The car is awesome after everything done. I have brought it back for a transmission rebuild as I was Very satisfied with the work. The 914 has been a long project that has taken many months but I was kept in the loop by the team on a regular basis. Highly recommended.Service: General repairs & maintenance

With a fleet of VW buses, our business needs a place we can rely on to keep running, and there is no one else we trust with our vans than Culmination Motorsports. We know that when we bring one of our vans in for maintenance, it will get the highest quality parts and fluids on the market. When we bring in a van with an issue we can trust that the mechanics will treat it like their own, and fix it with care and precision before we rent it out to one of our clients.The folks at Culmination are trustworthy, honest, and beyond skilled at their craft. They care immensely for their clients, and I know without a shadow of a doubt, that our business would not be successful without this incredible team of people. We are so lucky to have them in Anchorage!

The crew at Culmination is Great! My repair was explained to me very thoroughly before they proceeded with any work. The work they performed was done with great detail and in a very timely manner. If you own a German car in Alaska, Culmination is the only shop you want touching your car. Thanks for being a very transparent and honest business, truly hard to find

My wife and I stopped in to eat at the new Fire Island Bakery and I noticed several German cars and vans out front. Then I noticed that the VW bus was nicely restored. Then I noticed that the bug was immaculate. Then I noticed the shop. It's impeccable. I knew before I went in that this was the shop I need to complete a small unfinished product... on my Toyota. I had Culmination fabricate an aluminum faceplate and replace some electrical switches on my dashboard that had been installed functionally but with no attention to detail or aesthetic consideration. I won't say that Culmination exceeded my expectations, but they accomplished exactly what I had asked for. Perfection!

We LOVE culmination Motorsports!! After only taking our BMW X3 to the dealership and never feeling like we were truly happy we made the move to CM. Ralphy and his team walked us through what our car needed and went above and beyond. Our X3 runs better than ever AND we have a shop that we can TRUST!

We are restoring our 83 VW Westphalia with Culmination Motorshports and we couldn't be happier. Nobody in Anchorage knows more about the older VW vans than Ralphie at Culmination. They can get parts no one else can. They are the best. Also, I didn't know this until recently, but they work on all German cars. My BMW X5 is just off warranty and so I had them do my first oil change and service and I am super happy to know that I don't have to go downtown to the dealership any longer, just over to see my friends at CM! Thank you.

Extensive work needed to be done on my 77 VW Bug. Each step was meticulously completed. Communication was great. I am so happy to have had my car worked on by Ralfy at Culmination. When I came to pick it up, it was as clean and shiny as it was when brand new. It runs great!!!

Culmination Motorsports is *the* place to take your VW, Porsche, and especially vintage model car. Not only are the mechanics incredibly knowledgeable, they have an unmatched attention to detail, and go above and beyond customer service expectations.Each and every person who works at Culmination is an incredible human being - they are kind and truly care about their customers. Often working well beyond their "office hours," Ralfy, Catherine, Robby, Tony, and the rest of the crew, put their heart and soul into making sure your vehicle gets the best care, top-of-the-line parts, and make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and excited about driving off in your "baby."There is no other shop in Alaska I would trust my vintage VW Westfalias with!

It s pretty rare to find world-class work in Alaska, but these guys manage to pull it off. They do incredible things, and if you haven t been to their shop you need to go.

The only place I would recommend to take your vehicle.. I take my BMW here and get excellent service.. They know what they are doing, get it done fast and better priced than the dealer.. Highly Recommend them!!
