Went for vehicle maintenance and replacement of the battery uner the lifetime battery replacement. The battery did not qualify for replacement under their warranty rules; however, after speaking with the Sales Manager and explaining our issues all winter and driving over an hour to get to their shop, he comped a battery for us. He also explained why we had the issues and recommended a trickle charger, which we did purchase. They had it in stock and were able to install it free of charge. Even though we were upset, everyone we spoke with was empathetic and respectful. We love Continental and this is why. We have the best Customer Service experience every time.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. The salesperson, Mark, was informative without being pushy. I appreciate the time the Subaru team took to defrost and pull up multiple cars for us to test out without feeling rushed. The paperwork was digital and that saved time, easy to correct errors and limited having to vocalize personal information. The building is clean and has a nice vibe, I look forward to coming in for tires and oil changes. Thank you Mark and Subaru team.

Finally took my vehicle in here and let me tell you, the level of service is outstanding! Brandyn took amazing care of us. There was a hiccup but it all got sorted out. No fuss no muss. Got to meet the main manager. Very nice gentleman. We got an almost 10k bill but hey she is my baby and it's pages of mainly cosmetic things that need to be done but they helped us understand priorities and how nothing needs to be done right now but one thing. DONE. When it's time to buy a second, I will a knocking!

Stay away!!!Long story short: I took my Impreza in for an airbag recall and oil change (but was otherwise in top condition) instead, I ended up with a ruined engine and a quote for $10,000 to repair it.Here s what happened:I picked up my car after the recall and oil change were completed, then proceeded to drive back toward Wasilla where I live. By the time I reached the Eagle River exit, the car had started acting a little odd (knocking noises, etc). So, I pulled over to check it out, and it turned out to be dangerously low on oil . After an oil change appointment. So, I added 3 quarts to it (which is crazy it needed so much, as the engine only holds 5.5 quarts in total). I proceeded to drive it home and it was not giving me any issues a week later I realized it was low again already, so I added some more oil.I kept doing this until I started hearing a small tick, and my girlfriend s dad was looking at it and asked why I had to refill it so frequently, as I had already needed to add a total of 10 quarts in the last 3 weeks! After taking a closer look, we found a small oil leak and it was dripping from the bottom of the motor.I contacted Continental Subaru immediately and then they towed it to Anchorage; as expected, they said it is my fault and I need a new engine. Get this: they even had the same tech who preformed the service do the recheck which seemed really suspicious, as if they are hiding something and wanted to make it look like the dealership did nothing wrong. Continental Subaru claims that they did the oil change and a leak check and that there is no way that it is their fault as they say it is impossible for us not to put in the correct amount of oil, and the engine was not leaking at that time . My question is, what they are lying about? Either they did not do a leak check (which I know for a fact that the car was not leaking prior we would have seen the oil stains in the driveway) or they did not fill it up with oil before releasing the car back to me. When I asked, How could the engine lose so much oil with in less then 15 miles? They had no response only a weak claim of owner negligence, which seems to be their favorite catch phrase to try and absolve themselves of any wrongdoing. They are simply looking to take advantage of anyone they can!Stay away!!If you need simple recalls done, make the drive to Fairbanks and see Kendal Subaru up there.

Took my car to get serviced while I went out of state, set there the whole time and it didn't get worked on. They stated, "we didn't know it was here" but I never received a call on the day of my appointment asking where the car was. Months later I took it to get the same recalls done while I was out of state again. Dropped it off while people were there and they called me confirming it was done and told me I can pick it up on Saturday. Get back home and go to pick it up on Saturday only to find out no one from Service had left my keys out. If I could give 0 stars I would, this is a joke of a service department.

Purchased multiple cars in the past year from this dealership and never felt like I do at this moment. The aura that is given off (felt) these past three instances is a racially targeted sales approach that sees a person for the color of their skin and also what they use the car for and not as any other consumer coming to purchase a Subaru for Brand loyalty. The parts department is flawless and that team deserves a raise however, the sales team, including all sales managers, should receive additional training on their approaches towards customers.

Paid a $200 diagnostic for them to tell me I need to pay $1000 for a part to replace .I could ve just gone elsewhere, and pay to get it fixed for probably $200 ..Edit: Glad that you read public reviews. In that note, you all do have good customer service.A tip in case you want to improve: be clear in the beginning of the costs, don't just say "please review and sign below". Interpretation of the agreement takes you from good customer service, to excellent. It means transparency. For example: "I'm going to hand you this agreement in the tablet, in there you'll see xxxx, and xxxx. You'll pay that amount whether we fix it or not. (then hands off tablet)."

Had a great buying experience. Riley Pohll was a great salesman, he gave it to me straight and didn t try to make me get features I didn t want or need. As a female salesman usually try to upsale me but Riley did not. I highly recommend Continental Subaru and Riley Pohll. Loving my 2024 Crosstrek Limited thank you for the great service.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional customer service from Markien while getting my car serviced. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that Markien prioritizes safety and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. His attention to detail and expertise instilled a sense of trust and confidence in the service provided. Markien not only addressed all my concerns but also took the time to explain each step of the process, making sure I was well-informed throughout. His genuine care for both safety and customer well-being truly sets him apart. I left the service center feeling reassured and grateful for the outstanding assistance I received. Markien's dedication to excellence and genuine concern for customers make him an invaluable asset to the team. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking top-notch service and a peace of mind knowing their vehicle is in capable hands.Thank you, Markien, for your outstanding service and commitment to customer satisfaction!

I scheduled a tire changeover and an oil change for 10:00 AM this morning. At 3:00 PM I call to see what s going on since I haven t heard anything back yet. I get told the car will be done at 4:30 PM (which is already completely unacceptable. This type of work should have been done in less than an hour). I arrive at 4:30 to get my car and am told that I need 3 grand of repairs (which I expected since any time you take in a vehicle they try and upsell you), but when I say I ll think about the repairs and get back to you I find out they never did the tire change or the oil change that I went in for in the first place! I am told I will have to leave it overnight! This isn t an option since I have a flight to catch, so I just ask to take the car back. They then have the utter audacity to charge me a 55 dollar fee. This is full on criminal behavior and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I don t have a subaru, but I was thinking about trading in my VW for one. Continental Subaru was very responsive, very informative, and an overall great experience. If I decide to trade in my car it will absolutely be for a Subaru with continental.

Best day in years! Got an almost new car, the staff was awesome! Ricky Villanueva was amazing! Worked his butt off to get me into the car I wanted at a fair price! Considering the market I was lucky to find the vehicle I wanted and I feel so blessed! I love Subaru and I recommend them to everyone, and I earnestly recommend getting your next Subi at Continental and know you are in good hands with Ricky!Update: Follow through has been non-existant! After 4 phone calls no returned calls at all! Too bad, had to change my rating!

Great experience leasing my 2024 Subaru Impreza. The sales team made it a seamless experience. I recently got a flat tire, and Subaru service gladly took it in. Warranty covered everything, including a brand new tire! and the service team is knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. It is nice working with Subaru

Second time! I drove 4 hrs to make my appointment early for extensive fluid change. It s over four hours now waiting and never got an update. People come after me and left with their service.First time, they thought I dropped it off with an appointment but thought I was leaving for the weekend. I had to spend $800 on rental car. I was really hoping they get a better process. They must prioritize owners that purchased from them?? I live out of town!Anyway, they gave me a nice discount for the trouble.

The most irresponsible dealer ever. Staff are friendly until you buy a car, after that you never heard from them again. The most unprofessional individuals that I had ever dealt with it. They act like they do not care after you make a purchase. I will never buy a car from them again and I do not recommend this dealership.

Brandyn & Grant THANK YOU! The best. From the second I walked in to the time I picked my car up, I was cared for, not talked down to, and my car is better than ever. I really appreciate you guys.Highly recommend! There are a lot of dud mechanics in town and these guys are surely not.

Took my Subaru in for recall parts which took over a week. After we had it back for a week, engine started smoking. Mechanics said they couldn t tell what it was. Sat in their shop for 2 months until someone finally got back to me. They told me it would be 9.5K to fix plus 2K to look at it. The car is only 9 years old and ran fine until we took it in. The car isn t even worth that working and running. I was going to trade it in to buy a new model but not now or ever. Going to help whoever I can by not recommending anything from Continental Auto group. They are not listed with BBB

Had our outback serviced at continental subaru due to a discount on several things that needed maintained. Received a call before pickup that three of the lugs were stripped and must have been over torqued by the last shop. However I manually change over our tires every spring and fall, hand threading the nuts and torquing with a beam style torque wrench rated for 2% accuracy. Continental was the last shop we took it to for a battery warranty issue and an oil change. They wanted $390 to replace the three lugs and nuts. Refused the outrageous upcharge and when I picked up the car only two lugs turned out over to be torqued. Hopefully they did a better job on the other things they serviced than with the wheels.

If you are looking for a new Subaru in Anchorage you basically have one option and that s the only reason to go here. I purchased two brand new cars from here and I regret it, because I have to use the service department. This has to be the most inconsiderate group of people I have ever dealt with. They will not properly communicate with you, lie to you on time frames, and lucky us didn t even finish the job. Customer service generally is poor in Anchorage but this service department wins the award for worst in town. Save yourself time and find a brand that treats you like a human being after you purchase a car.

Stopped as low tire light kept coming on and off. Analisa was wonderful at keeping me informed and walked me outside to car. Great experience! Great staff all around. Found snacks while waited.

My mom had bought a van here and I often take her car for maintenance. I have have only had good experiences. I come early to avoid a line and they let customers in before they open so they do not need to wait outside and I appreciate that. They are always friendly and kind and I am glad I do not have to worry if my mom ever has an issue with her van. They offer a punch card for oil changes and will sometimes give a free wash and detailing with the oil changes. I am very happy with their service here.

Actual text I sent to my son in law this morning 0530, 11 May 2022. He loves Jeeps.Impressed with my Forester this morning. 14 inches of snow on the highway this morning and the Subaru powered thru it. Stopped at Highland exit ramp to offer my assistance to a GLADIATOR stuck trying to get off the Glenn. Got started again with no issue. Subarus rule Jeeps drool or get stuck. Have to give a plug to Blizzaks too.

The Nissan service department here has come a long way since when I first started dealing with them in 2012. I had quite a few bad experiences with them those first couple years here, but the last few years their Nissan Service team has been awesome and they do go the extra mile to assist you. I'm grateful for the change and glad they have done a 180!!!

December 2021- UpdatedVery helpful. Great service every time. I called around to get my headlight fixed and the two places in the valley that I called had a $60-$80 fee just to install the headlight. I called Subaru in Anchorage and they said they charge five dollars whether they put one headlight in or more. But that information I called the place back in the valley to make sure that they didn t misunderstand me and even told them about Subarus pricing and they said no misunderstanding but that s the fee that they have. So I took the drive in to Anchorage go Christmas shopping while is in town. One pulling into the parking lot I went right up to the service and express doors, they open automatically. Once I pulled in I am lady asked what I was needing done today and she walked around the car checking it out check the mileage and I gave her the key told me it will take 15-20 minutes. Waiting area it s really spacious they have lots of seats which are very comfortable by the way. They have tables to eat at or spread your stuff out and get some things done while you re waiting. They have public bathrooms, they have a public phone you can use for local calls, and they have vending machines a few three or four of them, that I saw. They also have a house of thread located inside the Subaru so if you want to go get a coffee or get a bite to eat it s there.2017-Great service everytime. Every time I had some thing wrong it was covered under my warranty they always took care of me.

The team is friendly enough, but it doesn't make up for their complete and utter lack of competence, or willingness to actually do their jobs. They won't call you despite promising and you have to check on the progress of your issue yourself every step of the way. Every call I've made has felt like I caught the employee on break and they have to scramble due to their own disorganization. Certain departments will just ignore you entirely, forcing you to wait at the behest of the unprepared sales staff. Definitely will not be purchasing from them again or working with them anymore in the future, and will be warning others.

Salesman are non commission, they will never use pressure tactics to make you buy a vehicle. They are patient and friendly and will work with you. I would definitely recommend buying from these folks again.

Took their service department over 11 hours to complete a simple oil change, failed to contact me when the service WAS completed, leading to them trying to hold my car for the entire weekend. On top of all that, they left my car an absolute mess. Would give lower reviews if possible.
