I made a nice review about them before after my truck was fixed and I got great service. but now I am finding items that they left, more like surprises.. spare tire hanging low and banging around because the took it off and didn't wind it back up. the lower tube was disconnected and not bolted back up . they took out my jack and parts to remove the spare ties and left it in the bed of my truck .. found some plastice cover part I have no idea where it came from and where it goes..my horn doesn't sound they same now dunno what that's about and now worried what else I may find.... I kinda worried about the service I got... and what else I may find wrong with my truck

My experience was phenomenal. I brought my truck in after someone hit me. They worked with Progressive to get my truck in sooner than all the other ships would have so that I didn t have to wait five months. They kept me posted on every update via text and phone calls and the work they did is fabulous. You can t even tell it got hit. There was a mix up with the insurance but the manager was a stand up guy who handled the situation with tact. I will be recommending them to anyone who needs auto body work done. Thanks everyone!

Brandon, the shop manager, is the best in the Southside shop. Having a little struggle at first with a front desk girl, Brandon personally called me to make things right. He handled my situation with excellent customer service. He payed close attention to every detail, helped me understand my insurance claim, and was in constant contact with me, giving me updates. My truck looks amazing and with his reassurance, he made the unfortunate situation of a hit and run, have a positive outcome. I am glad that I gave this shop another shot and am incredibly pleased with the work that has been done. I recommend them 100%Service: Painting

Gave them a nice review after they did my work now I am changing it I have found many items they left undone and they mect a mess on the back of truck I had to clean they kedt my spare tirs hanging loose hearing a banging sound now I find things they left undone and unfinished work nope never again shall i use them

I brought my truck to Able Auto Body to perform some body work on the front end after an accident. After receiving my truck back from Able Auto Body, I noticed some significant damage to the rear of the truck, which you can see in the photo below. After some back and forth between them and the towing company, they agreed to take care of the repairs, but I was without my truck for just over 6 weeks throughout this process. This was partly due to the poor workmanship and peeling paint I noticed after getting the truck back, which you can see in the attached photo. I finally got my truck back, but they tried to cut corners and rush the job. I also found I had some damaged front end parts I had to pay out of pocket to repair. I feel like I finally got a good end product, but it took much more time than it should have and extra money out of my pocket. Just be prepared to keep tabs on the entire process if you work with this body shop in the future.

Review Edit:In hindsight I am not happy with the repairs Able Body provided. They removed and replaced my Toyota parts with 3rd party vendor parts and now a couple years later those parts are failing. Currently the only issues with my vehicle are the components they replaced; some of which were unnecessary. The hatch motor and windshield wiper assemblies were undamaged from the fender bender. It never made sense to me why they replaced them. Also the rear panel they did need to replace, hasn't stayed flush with the other panels. It flairs out a bit now.Original Review:After getting caught in the middle of a vehicle sandwich at the intersection of Northern Lights and Boniface, Able Body Shop has put my vehicle back together as good as new. My vehicle even smells new on the inside. This is the second time I have used them for insurance related repairs, and they continue to provide top quality work. I also like how they provided a detailed work order and the front desk staff were always informed and courteous. I recommend choosing them for your auto body needs.

Dropped my car off for a quote on any possible damage to the chassis and so I sat an waited a little over an hour and they came back with the news that the previous owner did really shoddy body work and the quoted me for the possible repairs. I appreciate the compassion and understanding when delivering the unfortunate news while also making it easy to understand what had been done. I am very thankful for the time they took to work everything up and give me al the information and news. Definitely would recommend on account of that compassion alone. But they were very kind and very knowledgeable

Partnership with Hertz and Enterprise car rental was super convenient! Enterprise dropped my rental off at Able when I dropped off my vehicle for repair. Then I was able to just leave the keys with Able when I picked up my rig. Amazingly easy! Repairs look great, done well before estimated. Front desk ladies very friendly and helpful. Very good experience overall.

My 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 total body makeover to return it to original condition. Excellent work. Doors, body panels, hood, bumpers , tailgate all aligned perfectly. Great attention to detail and the work was completed almost a week early. Polite helpful staff kept me up to date through out restoration. Able did me right. They stayed in constant communication with me. Throughout the process of servicing my vehicle. They finished all of my repairs a week early and my car came back in better shape than it did before my car accident! They have a lifetime warranty on anything that they fix which is amazing and the customer service is was worth bragging about as well!

I am very impressed with Able Body Shop. From the time I dropped off my vehicle to the time I picked it up everything was super organized and professional. I received calls every few days letting me know the progress on my vehicle which was really helpful. They even finished my vehicle days earlier than expected. I will always take my vehicles to Able for all body shop work. Great job!!

The team at Able Auto Body South did a fantastic job on repairing my 2016 Honda. I just picked it up and it looks as good as new! And they provided weekly phone updates on the progress, which was appreciated - so I knew where things were at throughout the process. In this era of COVID-19, I appreciated that the public-facing staff I interacted with all wore cloth face masks - as did I. And the interior of my vehicle was detailed when I picked it up! They did a good repair on the damage but took literally the entire summer to fix my truck's rear bumper. When I finally got my truck back, the tail lights fell out the first time I drove down the highway because they failed to replace all the bolts. Now I have to take it back in for even MORE repairs. They have had it since june and I may not have a usable vehicle until september.EDIT: These guys really do great work, it looked brand new after the repair. They replaced the tail light bolts free of charge and were super nice about it. My complaint is really just about how long it took. Since it wasn't done on time, I had to get a rental for my hunting trip which was an extra expense I hadn't planned for.Service: Body & Trim

Excellent customer service. I had a vehicle being dropped off there and the insurance companies took 2 months to process the claim. They were extremely patient and professional though the entire process. Shauna who was handling my file was was just a top notch.At the end the car end up to be a total loss and had to be towed and auctioned out.Thank you so much for your professionalize,as a business owner I admire every step of the way and only am looking up to your company.Irena

After my new car was hit Able was so helpful. They called to explain every step, they walked me through their timeline and called with updates. When I picked up the repaired car it was clean inside and out. The toys my kids left in the backseat were neatly set in a reusable bag. Customer service was great, the employees were very friendly and pleasant. Even though my car was ready a day later than I was originally told, the shop kept me updated through texts and phone calls throughout the whole process. And when I noticed something wasn t fixed, I was able to bring my vehicle back and have it fixed within 20 minutes

I had a minor fender bender and took my truck here. They did a good job, were friendly, and timely, considering they were very busy. They kept me updated on their progress, everything with my insurance went smoothly, and they guarantee their work. I d recommend them.

They are horrible. They have my Rav4 for over two mo. They have the parts to fix it for over3 weeks. They never answer their phone. When after weeks of trying to call them they said, they now have the oarts and I should bring my car in. Unbelievable????They lost my car. And they still will not answer their phone.

I had a minor repair for my vehicle and due to COVID I had a lot of trouble getting a body shop to take my business, Able got right on it once I contacted them! They did great work and it was quick, they also have a convent droop off and pickup. Only thing I did not appreciate was the office rep claimed to have called me several times in the 30 days prior to her actual call when parts were in, I don't like feeling "blamed" for something that didn't even matter. This is 2020, my cell phone has a call log.

I had used able before and had a fine experience, this time however was far different. Initially they didn t order the parts they were supposed to for a full week after the insurance estimate was done. It then took nearly two months and was then delayed an additional 3 separate times before I could pick it up. When I did pick it up there was cleaner spray all over the inside of my front window and the drivers side heat doesn t work, in addition to several button on the main dash that don t work at all. So now after not having my car for over two months I have to send it back to them and who knows how long they ll have it this time. I ve been so incredibly frustrated and it s made things really difficult to not have a car for this long. I wouldn t recommend them to anyone.

This is what a mechanic shop should be like, highly recommend, very honest, professional, very kind friendly service. I can honest to God say I'm truly satisfied. Thank you guys for doing such a great job and going the extra mile to make sure everything was right on my repair. Keep up this quality and I will definitely be a repeat customer for years to come.

The actual Work completed was as to be expected. Body lines matched up only the front fender was out of alignment. Paint looked good, blending was done well except on the roof. My biggest complaint and reason for 1 star is their follow through on schedules. They set a date it changes multiple times. There s always and excuse, and my last date change I wasn t even notified that the completion date was to be pushed back again. They need to operate on the under promise and over deliver. This is their industry they know how long jobs should take, add a week originally and call and say we got it done early!

Shop was busy and booked out but they manged to get me in 20 days before my schelduled day and turn my car around in less then a week. I have dealt with Brandon and able in past and had a similar experience on a much more serious matter. Brandon is very sincere and professional. He knows what he is doing and will be the only person I deal with on collision repair. My interier was clean and detailed when I got car back. Not sure if that was part of the service or just A free cherry on top

Able Body shop did a great job repairing my wife s car. The repairs look great and were done before the estimated date of completion. Hopefully, I m not in a situation to need to use them again but if I do; they are the only shop I ll go to.

Keep in mind that my expectation is that if I make an appointment almost 3 weeks in advance that you, as a business, is allocating your resources such that the scheduled work is actually promptly done. You had my truck for two days and didn't even touch it? This was minor work. Come on folks. You can do better.

Nothing but good things to say about Able. They got my car put back together extremely fast. They got it back to me 3 days ahead of the expected finished date. Great communication throughout the whole process via their texting program. If I ever need more body work in the future Able will have my business.

Our vehicle was damaged during early A.M. on a Sunday parked in our driveway. Monday morning a representative from Able Body reached out to us after receiving a referral from insurance agent. Every moment since has been extraordinary. Able Body's staff has been in continuous contact. They have been magnificent coordinating repairs with supplies, which is no small venture due to recent GM strike. I feel very confident we will have our truck returned in pre crash condition. Enough cannot be said how much stress Able Body has taken out of this situation with their attentiveness and understanding.

Recently had warranty work done on my truck, a little issue with a repaired ground wire becoming detached, it took a day to get things on the up again but I'm very pleased with the results and the quickness of the turn around.
