My husband and I stopped by to see if we could get an appointment. We couldn t get our remotes in pairing mode. The gentleman came out went through a series of steps. The antenna was bad. He swapped it out , made sure it worked on both remotes . Then wouldn t take any fees . We did not buy our remote start at this shop. It s on a 99 Ford Explorer we purchased used.I love small Alaskan businesses!!! Thank you for excellent customer service.

We have an old after market car starter, we haven't been able to program. I stopped in and wanted to see if they could get it working. Joseph was there helping an older lady with such kindness and patience. When we returned with the starter, Joseph graciously stopped what he was doing and made time for us to see if he or his other technician could help, he didn't make us feel rushed or like we were interrupting, just so truly helpful. Based on this experience with Joseph, his customer service alone, would bring me back again, and recommend to anyone I know. Anyone that shows they care sincerely, as Joseph did, I would trust over someone who doesn't care at all. Thanks Joseph!

These guys got me in quickly for a remote start for my Subaru, and were very friendly and communicative! Fair pricing, efficient. Charged a bit more to remove an old, outdated remote start system, which is very fair. Very happy with my phone-based remote start so far.

Joseph was so handy, knowledgeable, fast and kind! He fixed my old keyfob to use my old autostart and save money! I was still prepared to purchase a new system in case that didnt work due to the great customer service. Recommend to anyone!

Great experience! Called them to ask about a getting a new remote for an old system in my truck and he was super knowledgeable and helpful. He knew exactly what system it was just based on a single photo! Stopped by and had me in and out in 10 minutes with a new remote start fob! Highly Recommend!!

One of the best experiences I ve had with a local shop from the moment I inquired about a remote start for a 2018 STi manual transmission to the moment I drove off. The communication and follow up regarding my appointment exceeded all expectations. The first step into their facility you will be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. It was refreshing to see that these guys like cars just as much as I do and are fellow car enthusiasts. Thank you for the awesome service and the clean install!!

The technician cussed at a customer and ripped out the antennae for the cars auto start. The customer had to purchase a whole new auto start. Will never reccomend or go back.

These guys are SO NICE! Greeted with amazing customer service and smiles. They helped me get my auto start working that they installed awhile ago because it glitched out after I had to change my car battery. They got it fixed within minutes and were just so incredibly kind and helpful. They installed a great system and really stand behind their work. Highly recommend this place!

Great work! Had a problem with my remote start after getting an aftermarket key made. They fixed the problem in short order and didn't charge me. Really good service, and would come here for any future work!

Shaun got my auto starter working again. Thought I will be needing an appointment but he diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Although a Vikings fan, I won't count that against him since he is very helpful with awesome customer service! #RaiderNation

Update - it's 12 below zero on a Saturday morning. My 17 year old vehicle is outside, not plugged in. It just started on the first try, and I'm nice and comfy inside. Thank you! I bought two remote starts for Christmas, they had a great deal - one for me and one as a gift. The purchase process couldn't be easier - unlike some places they won't surprise you with additional charges. Very pleasant atmosphere, clean and inviting (ignore the surrounding neighborhood). Helpful, knowledgeable, professional staff - the young lady I worked with was wonderful. The remote starts were installed as scheduled and on time, and work perfectly. They are also the only such shop that I know of on this side of town where I live and work, and I appreciate that. Overall a great experience and product.

I purchased a car with a third-party alarm and it went haywire. I called Shaun and he diagnosed the problem in his shop and got me back on the road the same day! Couldn't be more satisfied with the customer service and support. Highly recommend

I live far, and this is still the only shop within a 200 mile radius I ll take any of my vehicles too. Nick knows the product that he is selling, possibly better than the people who create and design it. Always the first to greet customers with a smile. One time I brought him my dirty car to get tinted. He told me to get it detailed. I did, and came back the next day and got an amazing tint job done as well as a remote start on my manual transmission VW. Nick is definitely someone who is not afraid of any challenge, and he certainly enjoys what he does. 10/10, will be back.

I had a Astrostart 2-way auto start and security system installed on my 2005 sierra denali in late 2017 and since then I have had 0 problems with the installation or the system installed nearly 5 years after. I d like to thank whoever installed it for the quality job performed. Whenever I purchase a new vehicle I would definitely go back to them.

We ve had multiple vehicles serviced here for remote start and audio installs as well as window tint. The owner is always straight forward with pricing and the results always beat our expectations. We have shops closer to us, but Nick makes it an easy decision to make the 40 mile drive to have the work done here.

My cars speakers were done for after 14 years and had them replaced here. Results exceeded expectations and it s never sounded this good. Great service and prices. I would recommend Remote Start & Sound to anyone with tired old speakers needing replacement.

I've been to this place twice to fix my failing auto-start that was installed by a company no longer in business. They have fixed my auto-start quickly and at a very good price. These guys take care of customers.

I went in bright and early Friday morning and was the first to arrive for my tint appointment. The crew was so efficient!! Not even 30 minutes later, I was back on the road. Week later I followed my instructions to NOT open my windows, my tint is still perfect! Thank you so very much guys n gal!!! You're all so amazing!

About two years ago I had my 02 forester tinted and it came out wonderful. About two weeks later my front window had began to peel, so I called the shop and the same day they changed out the tint and my windows have been looking as good as new since. I recently drop off my new Subaru and again, window tinting to perfection. Excellent work and amazing customer service, highly recommended. I also did some shopping around and nobody beat their price around the anchorage area.

Really appreciated Shaun s help to fix my auto start, he had it working again in just a few minutes and was very helpful and knowledgeable over the phone and in person. 10/10 recommend this shop!

Have loved working with Nick as he is always professional and straightforward. Went to Nick for an auto-start install and to have my windows tinted. He made the process of dropping the car off convenient and had a fast turnaround with when it would be done.Might I add that the tinting on my windows looks amazing!!I would highly recommend going to Anchorage Start and Sound.

Nick was super nice and helpful when I came in to get my auto start looked at. He fixed it in a timely fashion (though I did have to make an appointment to come back another day) and ended up not charging me for the service. Highly recommend this place for any auto start issues or sound needs.

Excellent service and exceptional workmanship. We bring all our vehicles to Anchorage Remote Start & Sound, especially for my tinting needs! Not once have I had bubbles, contaminates on the glass, tears; nothing but perfectly applied tint! The team here knows what they re doing and does it well. I d recommend their services to anyone looking to make improvements to their vehicle!

Nick is the greatest! This shop has done work on 4 of my vehicles. His pride and professionalism are unmatched. He always delivers a great product and goes to great lengths to ensure his customers are happy. I wish I could give him 10 stars, he is hands down the best in AK for your remote start, tint, ppf, and car audio needs!!!
