What a great experience we had with Appalachian Foothills RV! We arrived the evening prior to our appointment and stayed in the campground. We opted for a pull through site. We had water, sewer, and 50 amp service. The campground is everything we expected while waiting for service. We pulled up to the service bay at 7:15 AM. They swrviced our Hydro-Hot, got our jacks working, and had us out in no time flat.Be sure to add these folks to your travel plans. We are quite pleased with the level of knowledge the team has and are planning our next visit!

The staff at the RV Service Center is very friendly. We did an overnight stay & was going to have our rig examined. Decided to opt out because of the storms that were headed our way.You do receive a discount if you have your rig worked on BUT the price they are charging for an overnight stay here is ridiculous... $70/night.This place has a lot of potential but it is not being maintained properly. It's very muddy to get around to the pull through site, that is not level at all. I would not stay here again.

APRIL 2023Stephen and his crew are by far the best RV techs in northern Alabama. Their customer service is off the charts. I needed a Schwintek slide rail replaced. Stephen called me several times before the appointment to make sure he knew exactly what was wrong and what to order. On the day of service, they got right to work, and the repairs were excellent. They even fixed some other minor issues without question. The campground has several improvements since we were last there in Dec 2021. They've added a nice bath house and will be installing washer/dryers soon. They've added extra back-in sites for 5th wheels/bumper pulls and also have a couple of pull throughs. It's on its way to being a top-notch campground. BTW, Christian from the office is still a joy to work with!DEC 2021Let's start by saying this is an awesome RV repair shop that is adding an RV campground. We went there for a leaky pipe and to have some cabinets built where our bedroom TV used to be. Christian, in the office, was superb. She helped us in numerous ways, especially with our extended warranty. Steven, the tech guy, was awesome. He knew right what to do and we were very pleased with the work. The campground is basically designed for motorhomes to pull straignt into the site. As such the hookups are on the front left of the site. Trailers and 5th wheels will have the hookups backwards. The sites are gravel although there are 3 concrete pads available. The sites need some compaction as the gravel is loose and rutted with winter rains. There are no bath houses up yet. The owners have plans to expand and build pull through sites. That should come in the next year or so. This is a gem in the rough, and I look forward to staying again. The staff are super and more than make up for lack of amenties.

What a great experience at Appalachian Foothills service department. Steven was awesome to work with. We made an appointment for annual service & a couple other minor issues. He could not help us with one item but definitely tried and didn t charge us for trying. Great people and they have RV park on site that you can stay at. Highly recommend them.

Called them to help with an issue, they were willing to fit me into their schedule. When I told them where I was staying, they found me a closer option. Amazing customer service. Although I didn't use them, the desire to make sure I was helped and not inconvenienced by driving the rig to them.I will be sure to stay with them on our way back through. Stand up people!!

I want to share how much I appreciate Steve and the Appalachian Foothills Service and RV Park employees. We scheduled our Tiffin Allegro Red for some paint work that needed to be done, along with a few other smaller items. We also stayed at the onsite RV Park. It was so convenient to drive the coach from the overnight site up to the service bay each morning. Every interaction with Steve and the employees was positive. We had the work done within the scheduled time: it took two days for everything. The work was done exactly as described and within the quoted price. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of all the employees who worked on our coach, but I want to give a special shoutout to Ethan and Ashley, who did the paintwork. They are professional. The coach looks great. We plan to stop by each year when we're in the Red Bay-Winfield area if repairs are needed.

Staff very friendly but RV section is next to repair shop; rough large gravel on red dirt, they do have a bathhouse & WIFI, otherwise not appealing. Good location off freeway. Prices to high $65 for pullthru in middle of gravel lot. More appealing are motorhome sites but we had a trailer & we couldn't put slide out because they had fencing that blocked it. Will not stay again but desperate to call it a day after traveling from out northwest.

Its good if you need a safe place to plug in and spend the night conveniently located off the interstate. A little pricey for what you get. It's mainly an industrial parking lot with hookups. It still feels like it's under construction. Muddy in some places. Needs alot of landscaping work. People were nice.

The part we stayed in is new and still under construction, but the rest of the park is pretty nice with fantastic back in sites, some with decks and concrete pads. I asked for a pull through but definitely recommend the back-in sites here. They are actively remodeling the bath house, the host was extremely friendly and helped get us booked quickly by phone. Will absolutely stay again, but will get a back in next time!

One of the men staying in the back lot was very ugly, cussing at and threatening 3 women. Told us we were on private property! We were by the service building to try and see the space station and satellites go over. Again, he was in the BACK RV lot. There was almost a football field between us and that RV lot. Went there because of the owner being who he is. We thought we would be safe and have a great view.

We were camping in our RV in Tennessee and there were heavy rains and our roof leaked. It was pretty bad with more rain in the forecast. We heard great recommendations regarding Appalachian Foothills RV Service and called. Christian was wonderful and she said they would try their best to get us taken care of but did let us know they were down a couple of people. We headed to them.and she set up a RV site for us. John was able to get us taken care by 2pm the next day. They definitely know what they are doing, priced well and their excellent service is refreshing and appreciated by us. Thank you again!

Terrible. It was barely more than a gravel pit. Didn't see any amenities. Did have 50 Amps and hookups though.

We highly recommend this facility. After having our Tiffin serviced in Red Bay, where we had to drive to different vendors for annual maintenance every year, we were excited to learn of a one stop shop for most anything. .We needed annual maintenance for the engine, generator and Aqua Hot, plus some minor things like wiper blade replacement, in ceiling light bulb replacement, an electrical issue with our Tecma toilet (they replaced the module), fixed our peninsula cabinet, which Tiffin Service center did not fix due to time in a prior year, and they even did a radiator flush and installed our new TPMS. Total time for repairs was 5 hours ALL IN ONE DAY. They even have a full hookup campground and yes they take appointments! The best part is the people, Steven, Christian and Ryan (and really the whole crew, these were the names we could remember). This group of professionals could not have been more friendly or helpful from start (booking our appt) to finish (exiting the service bay and returning to the campground for the night). They know Tiffins and you will not be disappointed.Services: Electrical, Oil change

Thank you so much to Steven , Christian, Chris ,Ethan, Brian, John and the entire team that worked on our RV. The service was amazing and the finished work was spectacular!!!! The experience was more than we could have ever expected and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. Steve took the time to sit with us and assure us that they could do the job with his amazing staff at Appalachian Foothills Rv service. Our floors and carpet and replacement material for the slides and new shade are amazing and I cant say enough for entire team. Thank you Christian for all the hard work you put into helping us via phone with Steven to get all the details of what we wanted.

A new facility still under construction but in business. We had our 2017 Tiffin Phaeton 44 OH serviced for aqua hot, step cover, slide adjustment & some misc. items fixed. Staff friendly & helpful. Campsites can accommodate 45 rigs, full power, water, and good wi-fi. Pull in sites, some still under construction. All gravel area, a few sites have concrete pads. A small Gazebo with picnic table & chairs on site. Easy access in & out off interstate. Overall, satisfied with our stay & service. Very pleased that AFRV does services by appointments!

Is their campground fancy? Not currently, but it has all the things we needed - easy in and out, full hook up and strong wifi throughout the park.We had some routine maintenance completed on our motorhome while here. The folks were all welcoming, took time to educate us, and encouraged our questions. They went above and beyond for us each day we were here. We're already planning additional items we'd like them to address on our next visit. It was so much easier to call one place and arrange all our service items.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim, Battery, Oil change

The owner and employees gave us great communication, great service, nice accomodations, and are nice, honest, people. We will definitely use them again. They found and repaired a leak in the ceiling, fixed the ceiling and wall damage, (We discovered this in the closet, after we bought it, and thought it was old, fixed damage, but it wasn't.) They fixed our drivers side slides. We'd had it looked at by several mobile mechanics, but nobody could figure it out. They were very knowledgeable on Tiffins, but work on all kinds of campers and MH's. This is a new, small, American owned, business that I definitely recommend!

Brand new campground that is still under way. A lot of the spots are for Class A or RVs, due to the set up of the electric box. We actually had to pull half way out of our spot just to be able to reach the electrical outlets.Site is all gravel and rocky with a side area of grass, to set you chairs. We just needed a quick spot for one night, so wasn't bad for one night.

Great place to spend the night, even 2 0r 3. They are in the process of building this. The grass on the sites is fantastic and spaces are big. They have a dog park which we didn't realize till after we left. It is a beautiful place, full hook up, and pull thru spaces are being built at this time but they can still accommodate big rigs.
