I messaged Wayne about a problem with my Mercury outboard around 9 AM and he had me come in for the work at 1:30 the same day. The job turned out to be a little more complicated than he expected, but he worked it until it was fixed. Wayne's shop is not a high end, high tech place, but he knows his craft and he's a hard worker.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Don't believe the ratings of five (5) stars. At the gate and Wayne won't open up, although he is open. Took the motor in last winter. Gave him $40 down payment. No communication. Now I just want to get the motor back. Something isn't right at this business. Finally, he let us in and gave us the motor back, however, the cowling was missing and he could not find it and apparently never has because he never called us to pick it up.

Very rude. Tried to set an appointment to have a repair done. Owner got irate over a simple question of when he had time to do the job. I don t know his schedule so how did I know if he could get to it. I ll spend $6,000 on a lower before letting them repair a skeg on my motor.

Very rude, cursed/sweared through texts, very disrespectful curses through the phone, really disrespectful, called me names try s to make you pay for a tip too if you don t he gets very mad and talks very disrespectful!

My 1 star rating is truly overrated for this Owner and his operation.. My experience with Wayne's Marine and its owner who shares its name, consists of bringing my Johnson SeaHorse in for a new water pump and to make it run better, i.e. clean/replace carb. Money was tight so I made sure to specify to call me if it turns out looking like it will be over $200. Not only did he call back weeks after he said it would be done and no communication on what the plan was and expected cost, it was a good bit over the $200 mark, the lower unit was leaking oil now, and it didn't run much better than it did before. When I showed up to see the leaking lower unit and the bill I addressed the first two issues with Wayne. At which time he proceeded to demand his money (in cash) and then proceeded to cuss me out and demanded that I leave and to not come back. Not that the last part of his beligerent rant had to even be said because I for da$# sure will never spend another dime at this crooked and questionably legal sad excuse for a "business", and I HIGHLY advise others to heed this warning and stay far away. Unless of course you like completely wasting you hard earned money.

Worst service I have ever received! Turned the boat in 3 August and was told I would have it back by the end of the month. We were planning on using it for family over Labor Day Weekend but here it is 12 November and I receive a call that the boat is ready. I drove 4 hours from my home to get it and the boat wasn't ready, the list of deficiencies weren't completed and there were beer cans in my boat. After discussing with the owner (Wayne) he became irate, threatening, and very disrespectful despite him having the original list that said everything that needed to be done. I have been in the military for 24+ years and have never been treated this rude! This business is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs! There are several other businesses in the local area that have much better ratings! Learn from our mistakes and avoid this business!!

Horrible service! I took my small engine to Wayne over a month ago and he told me it would be a week or two at the most. Here we are a month later after multiple phone calls to him that weren't returned and he said that he "might get to it this week" I took mine from him and went to one of his competitors where I was treated much better.

Dont ever take your boat motor to this guy he is a rip off he tried to jump on my dad a elderly man charge him 300$ and did not fix his motor and threatening to jump on a elder is just sorryService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

The owner Wayne was the very rude. Has no business since. I would not take anything I own for him to work on. If you appreciate your boat don't let him work on it. Please put this Company out of business if he will be rude he will also lie.

My family has been fishing for more years than I can remember and during these years we have had many many boats and with many different kinds of boats we have had our share of boat troubles and Wayne's Marine has been a blessing in disguise there is no job too small there's no job too large there is nothing he don't know when it comes to Small Engines and during the winter time he's quite the first grade a mechanic also if you're smart enough to get Wayne to do your work for you, you are one lucky man that has just gave your problem to the problem solver..I've even seen him make house calls for people whose trailers were messed up and I've seen him go out of his way and bite the cost just to help the elderly you know i heard one story about him fixing a kids jet skis for free .if someone has gave Wayne's marine a bad review I would bet they can't even catch no fish it's just obvious a business don't grow to be as great as Wayne's Marine if they're not the best thank you Wayne for all your great work see you at the fishing hole

Tried to sell a used $50 part for $350. Quickly dropped to $100 when price was questioned. Same part NEW is $79 on Amazon.
