I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from a great facility and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the showroom and the friendliness of the staff.The facility had a wide selection of vehicles to choose from, and the layout made it easy to browse and compare different models. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, guiding me through the process and answering all of my questions with patience and professionalism.The buying process was seamless and efficient, and I felt like the staff truly cared about finding the right car for me. Just bought my brand new GTI yesterday and I just have to take the time out to say that Luke is a huge asset to this business. He is very responsive, very knowledgeable about what he is selling, and an all around pleasant human being. Go see him if you are looking at getting into a Volkswagen. Matt is also great and he handled the closing side of this loan - genuine and funny guy. Very pleased with my experience and happy to see good representation of a brand that I adore.

Lemme tell ya! I was all about this dealership, until 2 hours prior to me coming to get a vehicle, the sales rep LUKE sold the car I was coming to get out from under me! Expressed understanding that the vehicle was being asked to be put on hold and then 2 hours before I get there, sold it. Extremely unprofessional and extremely shady service. I had prior dealing with these guys on a similar vehicle and even out a hold on one then. The active recall meant they could not sell me the vehicle, but assured me that it would be soon to eb fixed. I find out 9 months later that the recall was fixed, called the same rep back up and the vehicle I wanted was under a diff persons hold, but that they had one similar to it that I could come and see. I told him to put it on hold, we were coming to get it within 48 hours of the arrival date and time. Next thing I know, got a text saying the car was sold. Luke was very sorry, but basically shrugged me off as he got the sale he was looking for and didn't need me for it. If that is just one sales rep and that behavior is acceptable, then what is fair game? Become a reliable profession set of salesmen or put a closed sticker on the door. Seriously, less then 2 hours !!!

Jose was very easy to work with. He was patient and helpful not at all pushy. He was very knowledgeable about the car s features. The team was willing to work with me on price and a tighter time frame. It was one of the best car buying experiences that I ve had at a traditional dealership. I would happily work with them again.

After a poor experience at a different dealership the day prior, I called this dealership and was instantly greeted warmly over the phone. Aaron was extremely kind and helpful and answered all my questions before I drove an hour there. When we arrived, the car we were interested in was out front waiting for us. Jose was incredibly nice and helpful and even moved all of our stuff from our old car to our new one while we completed paperwork. Matt was very relatable and fun and made the paperwork a breeze! They wasted no time working on our deal and made it hassle free. I could not recommend this place enough!

The service is "low average", but the car that I bought its terrible. Is always something falling apart, after two years. I can't even wait for the next service to detect something broken or a new problem.I've found some unfolded pieces in my car, and the service guys only recommended me to fix them by myself.

I bought my car ~2 years ago from this dealership. The closing experience then was fine, but that should be expected. The exceptional part is that I called them up two years later because I had a question about my warranty. My call was quickly answered by a real human who was knowledgeable about the dealership staff. I only had vague details about who had sold me my car- she said it would either be Tom or Don. Don was able to confirm that Tom had sold me the car but he was more than happy to help out with finding and explaining my coverage as Tom was out of office at the moment- it was fantastic of Don to help out and be incredibly cordial with someone who never was and most likely will be a customer given I live far out of state. 10/10 culture and management- I am happy to have bought my car here.

I made a mistake & scheduled the appointment on the wrong date. The service associate helped me correct this & was able to get me on the schedule earlier than I expected. The service took exactly the time that was quoted. It was a great experience.

The service department was very friendly and helpful. I gave you 4 stars because it took 4 hours to get a software update, oil change & tire rotation. I believe the issue was with the software update. I don't think it was the service department's fault but maybe a glitch in the update. It taking 4 hours to complete was quite a long time.

If you shop here ask for Justin! My family has bought 2 cars from him and buying another soon and he made every purchase feel like a walk in the park. No negotiating no hidden fees respectful to everyone and very knowledgeable about VW I can t say enough good things about this dealer and my favorite salesman!!!

I was in Birmingham with my daughter for a girls shopping trip. Royal was on the way and I decided to stop by and test drive a new 2024 Atlas. I had been looking at them online and wanted my daughter to see one. From the minute we arrived, JP Hanna (salesman) was awesome. He has a wonderful personality and was very easy to talk to. I loved that he acknowledged my daughter and made her part of the process. Once we were in the car for a test drive, he was very thorough on the infotainment screen and details of the car. I was looking for a particular car color and they found one within a matter of days. JP sent me a video of the car once they had it on the lot. He had mentioned he would and he did. I loved that I did not have to followup with him and he was never pushy either. The buying process was great and JP made sure the car was as perfect as it could be. He cleaned sticker marks off and anything he noticed while I was there to purchase it. I bought separate weather-tech mats and he went straight outside to put them in the car instead of just handing me the box with them in it, like some people would probably do. I came back to Royal to purchase the car because of JP and how he treated us instead of buying in my home town. The buying process with Aaron Hawk (sales manager) was great too. He made the process simple and was very personable too. Everyone there was extremely nice to us.

Great experience every step of the way. Highly recommend! Just bought a new Tiguan for our son. Tom Goodwin, our sales rep, was great! Entire experience was really easy, convenient and no surprises. We initially looked at Royal based on a friends great experience with their service department. A special shout out to Dustin, Tom s coworker, for giving our son all the how to with the new car.

The process to get/have a loaner was very comforting.The issue with the blocked water output at the rear window got fixed.But the fix with the noisy door was done with the wrong door. My complain was about the driver door, not the passenger door. (lost in translation ?)

The people at Royal were friendly and professional. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and offered me coffee. The appointment took about an hour and I was very comfortable in the waiting area. Overall it was a very good experience.

I had a major coolant leak. It turned out to be several leaks and I had to replace a few hoses, a y-valve, and my waterpump/thermostat (curse VW for making them plastic and prone to failure) Chris worked with me. Some of the parts were under warranty. I was scared this repair was going to ruin me financially (recently divorced and barely stable atm). He set me up with a loaner (not standard practice) so I wouldn't miss any work or have to pay big $$ to Uber to commute. Because my VW is a 15, they had to order parts. Totally makes sense, as my car is almost 10 years old! They repaired and stress tested (more than the standard pressure test) to make sure it was all fixed. These guys, especially Chris, saved my bacon. They went so far above and beyond, saved me big $$, and caught me a few breaks along the way. These guys have my confidence and respect, and I will continue to service my vehicle here. Best VW repair, and really friendly.

My sales associate maybe didn't know everything about every feature the car had but it was my best car buying experience yet! She even gave me an extensive list of restaurants/bars/attractions I should check out in the area as I just moved here.

2019 VW Tiguan is inoperable due to a sunroof manufacturer defect. While in the hospital, the interior of the car accumulated approx. 3-4 inches of rain. It is now extremely molded and completely inoperable. The car has less than 30,000 miles on it and is paid for. There is currently a recall on the sunroof, however; without a running car, there is no way to get it to the dealership to repair. Called every customer "care" (definitely mis-stated) phone number provided and have been met with a new number or contact to call and even better, please leave your number and someone will call you back within 7 days YES, 7 DAYS-- if that is the "care" they reference, their interpretation and my interpretation of the word care, are obviously two different things. Reached out to the local dealer, no resolution--no call back. Basically for me to have a working automobile for transportation, I must first incur a $500.00 tow bill to get the car to the dealer for the car to be repaired on a feature VW installed incorrectly or knowingly used defective parts. There have been multiple lawsuits filed on this situation and it appears possibly another one, as no one is man enough to contact their customers with the care they brag about on their website and local dealers websites. Understandably this falls on the manufacturer, however; there is no reason the consumer should be required to fork out money to repair / replace an expensive item they have no control over, nor should a customer be forced to call multiple times leaving message after message with no effort from anyone to return the call. They won't stop smiling and dialing while in the process of selling you an automobile, all is happy, perfect, great purchase, top of the line ........., but; when you leave the lot just as the value of a new car depreciates, so does the will to assist, smiles and the use of their fingers to return a call. No wonder car salesmen get such a bad rap. They are all about the money, not the customer. Don't ever be fooled! VW has no desire to stand behind their products, nor do the local dealers, therefore I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RUNNING as fast and as far away from a VW as possible, before you fork out $40,000 for a car that accumulates rain, mold and doesn't run the only thing they are good for is providing a perfect junkyard fixture!

Very Poor service department.Lecil Hancock is argumentive with a female.Made an online appointment 3 weeks ago, to be seen for diagnostics, checking engine light has been coming on & off.Only tell me @7AM at my appointment time, by the service writer, Niko Tali that it they weren't sure when they would get to my car, could be all day.Lecil Hancock had the audacity to ask me "why hasn't your husband scanned the code" ....my husband is a professional mechanic (not employed by VW or this company).I bought my car BRAND NEW at VW Royal WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY.Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL Customer Service 100%Will not recommend or buy another car from here!
