My daughter goes to school at Alabama and he has been fantastic when she needs anything for her car. Most honest mechanic I have worked with. If there was more than 5 stars he would get it.

Everyone here is super helpful, nice and quick. Thank you for taking good care of our daughter s car when we are several states away. It is a relief to know there are good people willing to go above and beyond to help a college student out.

Called for an estimate. Person seemed to be very sarcastic. Not the most inviting or helpful. Still left 3 starts because he at least gave us the estimate we asked for.

2 days after moving our daughter to Tuscaloosa for school, her car started acting up. First we had her take it to the local Chevy dealership. They said the turbo was blown and it could be months before they could get the parts. It was going to cost around $4000 to fix it. We had her take it to Henry's for a second opinion. He said that there was a cap that was cracked and it costed less than $300 to fix it. Right after that, they replaced her battery. The car has been great ever since! And my daughter felt very comfortable dealing with them as well. Highly recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Good people working here. Mr. Robbie and Rowland. Mr. Robbie helped me out with a personal project that required some muscle and ingenuity. He worked his butt off to help me out and ended up saving me money. And I actually wrecked my motorcycle in Mr. Rowland yard. His wife and himself helped me out man because I was seriously messed up. I ended up at Henry s auto by chance and just so happen that s where Mr. Rowland worked. Small world we live in. I believe it s by choice and not by chance that these men are good people. I know where to go when I need some work done on my cars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went there because my ac is not working. They fixed (!) and I paid $1k. And then my ac stopped working in 1 day. They realized that there are more issues at ac. Oh! They wanted $400 extra to fix it. But they couldn t find the part for my car. They told they can not fix it. So I paid for nothing!

Staff were personable and friendly. I dropped my car off at 8am for a check engine light, by 8:40am they had finished running diagnostics and called me to tell me what was going on/what the diagnostic code was. So, service was pretty quick! I trust what they told me and feel that they were honest with me. I will admit that I am unsure of what the average/typical cost for a quick diagnostic test is but I feel that what they charged was pretty high for less than 40 minutes of time; however, I could be wrong. In hindsight (and specific to my scenario), I could have saved over $100.00 by just going to a Auto Zone to get the diagnostic code read. Live and learn!

I had a starter go out on my car, so I got a new one from the store, and then found out that I couldn't complete the job with my tools at home. These guys took my starter, put it in a timely fashion, and only charged me for labor. Definitely recommend them.

I had an oil change completed in December 22. No one communicated with me that my oil level was low upon arrival. I happened to see it on the bottom of the receipt about a month later. This was pretty significant because I was able to determine there was a bad oil leak which I previously thought was repaired. It wouldn t have taken 2 minutes to simply communicate this information with me. For this matter, I will not be taking my vehicle back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fantastic people providing helpful service at a fair and reasonable price. I broke down on a drive from Maryland to Texas. Called several places and related my predicament and was told it would be two days before they could check my vehicle. Called Henry's, he understood my situation, I was towed in and major work was done in three hours and I was back on the road.First class operation and people.

Extremely nice honest people! Henry worked me in on the spot for a quick diagnostics. Found that I had a really simple fix and no actually mechanical probably. They didn't even charge me. Henry has done work on my sister's vehicle and always done great work!You don't have to be worried about being taken advantage of here, they are good people. I do most of my own mechanical work and I would recommend Henry's!

This is the worst shop I have ever been to. I wouldn t advise anyone to go there. I was quoted a price to replace a sensor and somehow they broke it in cover and wanted me to pay them additional $400-$500 for something they messed up. Amazing place to have an automobile worked on!!! Henry can really do it along with his amazing staff and son!!! He s fixed our cars before and does a wonderful quality job fixing them and keeping them going for more years.

My daughter goes to The University of Alabama and we live out of the area, while she is there we needed a place for her car repairs and maintenance. We chose Henry's and what a great choice. My daughter and I were in town for a tour of Alabama and our car broke down unexpectedly. The owner was so kind to get us in quickly and take care of repairing our car quickly so we could get back on the road after the tour. After visiting two other auto shops that refused to even try to help us, we really appreciated the exceptional customer service Henry s had to offer.

Great service! Great price! They were very good about calling and keeping us updated on our truck. Henrey seems very honest and reasonably priced. When we came to pick it up it was cheaper than they originally said. (They could have easily still charged me the initial amount.)

Henry's is awesome! My daughter goes to school in Tuscaloosa and her jeep was having some issues. They repaired and then the same thing started happening again. They found the issue and warranties it for her. Best place in Tuscaloosa. Honest and above board!

The ABS sensor had gone bad on my right front tire. I always take my car to a certain place for maintenance but they could not fix this. They recommended Henry's to me. I went in and when I told the man the situation, he was rude and rolled his eyes when I told him where I had taken it to discover the problem. He wanted to charge me $90-$150 for diagnostics "to find out what the problem actually is" and $400 to fix the sensor. I got it replaced for $145 somewhere else. And YES, that actually was the problem. (My regular place has a computer and can run diagnostics.). I was treated like some dumb female at Henry's. I will never go here again and would definitely NOT recommend them.

We had an amazing experience here. We were traveling through and were experiencing some car trouble. They checked it out advised on some solutions and got us back on the road in about an hour. I can't express enough how thankful I am. If I lived in the area, all my vehicles would go to Henry's.

I I have been taking my vehicles to Henry's for years. No one touches my vehicle but him. I won't even let any place else to do my oil changes.I will let my car sit and catch rides until he can take it. I've never had to wait long for repairs. The prices are fair.

Had an issue with my starter and Henry's fixed it right away. The repair cost was very fair and they were able to get part warranty credit to replace the failed starter that I purchased previously from a auto chain store. If you have a auto repair issue you need done in Tuscaloosa, I would absolutely recommend Henry's!

They guy that owns this establishment, Henry is great & three lady that works up front at desk is great as well. Great work was done on my Solara. (Front & back brakes) Will be going back if I need any other work done to my car.

Henry and Robbie were great. My daughter goes to school at Alabama and we live in California. They diagnosed the trouble with her Jeep and replaced the alternator and got her back on the road. Mom and Dads can feel good about send there kids to Henry's Auto Care.

Had my car towed here because this place was referred to me, big mistake. My car needed a new starter. I was told the cost to repair my car would be $425 ($275 for the part). I told him I would just buy the part myself and have them put it on. I found the starter at Auto Zone for $119, Henry's charged me $125 to put it on. They tried to jip me out of $156. I called another car repair shop here in Tuscaloosa and they told me they would have put the starter on for $75. The only reason I didn't have my car towed away from Henry's was because I would have been out of more money. I don't like to use the word "never" but Henry's is definitely last on my list. This is not the way to treat customers.

Daughter's 98 Durango broke down with a simple issue. Had it towed to Henry's, where they quickly diagnosed the problem, contacted me to get approval to perform the repair, and repaired the vehicle at a fair price. No attempt to take advantage of a college student with a list of unnecessary repairs on an old car. They have earned my future business!
