Of my several visits, the staff have always been kind and welcoming. The time for car maintenance has always been reasonable. Recently, the staff were able to fit me in on short notice for a flat-tire replacement, and I was in and out within an hour.

I was pleasantly surprised today! First of all, the service writer was so pleasant and helpful. My service started and ended on time! I noticed that there was now ample parking available, which had been a problem before this, and service on time, which also had been a problem in the past, and not to mention the store has been cleaned up! When I questioned all the improvements, I learned that there is a new store manager, and he has certainly improved so many things at the Tuscaloosa store! If you were hesitant to go back because of poor service in the past I would highly recommend you give them another try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised

I recently had my car inspected at your service center, and the experience was very nice. The service advisor, Nick, was friendly and knowledgeable. The inspection was completed within an hour, and the entire team's efficiency was commendable. It's rare to find such a combination of speed and good service. I highly recommend your center for its professionalism and quick, reliable service.

Placed an online tire order for a specific set of tires that was according to the Firestone corporate inventory database as being available at my local Firestone store. The service was scheduled a week after the online purchase. The company had plenty of time to verify and make sure the ordered tires would be available and/or delivered, if needed, for the scheduled servicing. I was not informed of any need to change order due to unavailability of the specified tires requested on the order. The day of my scheduled appointment is when I was informed that those tires are NOT on hand nor available to tranferred to the Firestone location. I truely believe the online ordering is a bait and switch tactic to get customers expectation setup only to disappoint by wasting their time only to trap them into purchasing undesired models due to the lost time on an expectation that was not met due to the lack luster or out of real-time date inventory database management and tracking across locations.

Been here for 4.5 hrs for oil change and alignment!! Drained my oil then after asking what s with me car!! Was told they had no oil to complete my oil change!!!!Had a 9.00 am appointment!! 5 hours for oil change 1 for alignment!! Sat there listening to lies coming out of there mouths and just ignoring the phones!!! Pitiful store!!

We had a scheduled appointment and the service was slow. I am not sure if it was due to staffing issues or what?? Communication with us was poor. We dropped it off at the appointment time. Dropped by later at 2 other times and it still was not ready. We decided to leave it over night and picked it up today and again, slow service. They was nice and professional. We took it back for a second time and Firestone corrected the balance on the tires and were very efficient with time. And communication too.Thank you!!

I set an appointment for 2:00 and they told me it should take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Came back an hour and a half later and they hadn t even started on it yet. All said and done they finally started at 5:00 and had it out by 6:30. If there s one thing i can tell u is please use a different shop. These people don t care about u and your agenda.

Don t go here. They changed the radiator hoses on my Buick and never bled the air out, also the mixed two different types of antifreeze. I just sent you the email with the invoice.

I had to bring the car back a 2nd time to get the tires balanced right. My time is valuable and this place doesn't seem to care about the customers time.

I will never take my car here for service ever again. I literally spent 20 minutes this morning going over every minor detail of what I needed done to my suv. I left my suv there for over 8 hours to get everything done that needed to be done. I got there this evening for them to only service 2 out of 8 things I needed done, I was told that they tried to call my phone twice but I don t have a single missed call from them. After they told me what was done to my car, they proceeded to tell me what services I needed done to my suv which was the exact things I told them I needed done in the first place when I dropped my suv off this morning. I got charged $300 dollars for an oil change, new windshield wipers, and filters!!!! I will NEVER take my suv back there, not even for tires!!! This is by far the most unorganized and unreliable place I have ever been to!!!!

The worjers were outstanding and nice to us We had a blow out traveling it was a hour before closing and the workers got us a tire on our truck and us back on the road quickly even though they were at the end of a long work day

Don t bother making an appointment- they won t fix your car. I m 0-3 on getting my car back in a timely manner (and actually repaired) so I m done trying. The first time I went in to get a flat tire fixed that would only take an hour. After four hours they told me they couldn t fix it. I missed an entire shift and never got scheduled again because of this. The last two times I ve made friday morning appointment and told them I needed my car back 4-5 days later, and each time no repairs had been made in the 4-5 days.Waste of time. Waste of money. Has the potential to make your life measurably worse. Go ANYWHERE else for your own good.

I came in last minute and she helped me immediately with the plan of action, pricing, and timing as well. she was also having to help many other customers and seamlessly assisted all of us and made this process easy. I'm giving it a 5 and making it my favorite only because despite the 3 hour oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade replacement, (with appt) Emmanuel was the only one who kept me informed. Thank you young man God bless y'all.

I'm very glad that I bought Firestone tires with a lifelong guarantee included. The workers are friendly and ready to take a moment to check my tires any time I see my tire caution sign light up on my dash.

Go anywhere else first. They are chronically understaffed and overloaded.They will generally perform car repairs correctly. But not in a timely fashion. Setting an appointment doesn't help. If you expect to use them for an oil change or other quick work, it'll be a few hours minimum. If you need something more important, you will need to be prepared to be without the vehicle for a week and to call daily to make sure that they remember to order parts or otherwise provide you with details on the progress, or they are liable to stick your vehicle in a corner and forget about it for two weeks (real story).Services: Exhaust, Tires, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

Very helpful lady on duty , got my wife's 2015 Volvo XC 60 in very quickly for an oil change , however , got a huge shock at the quote for a tune up and they would not use the spark plugs that I wanted fitted to the vehicle , so I skipped the tune up for now and still a bit pricey for the oil change at $184.00

I brought my truck and for a timing belt tensioner issue. Every time it starts there is a rattle in the engine. On the paperwork it says timing belt tensioner. The woman that took the vehicle in was extremely rude to both me and my wife on the phone when we called periodically to check on the vehicle. After they finally let me know the vehicle is ready, I get there and the vehicle was not even test drove yet. After waiting nearly 2 hours they told me the vehicle was test drove and ready to go. However the vehicle was still sitting exactly where it was when I got there and still had a piece of paper I placed on the edge of the bed of the truck. That told me the truck and not moved since I got there even though now they are claiming it was test drove. I've got the keys went to the truck started it up and immediately had the rattle. Went back in told them it was not fixed. They got the mechanic and we walked back out and he said he never heard a rattle in the engine at all. Keep in mind it rattles every time it starts. Standing at the vehicle I start the vehicle it rattles and he said he's never heard that before. then he told me that they don't do anything with timing belts or the timing belt tensioner and should never have been taken in. I asked them why it was taken in and why the paperwork specifically said timing belt tensioner. The manager just shrugged and says I don't know. This place is not honest.

My experience is they have none whatsoever. Didn t put oil in my truck the first time took it back for another oil change so they could fix what they failed to do in the first place. Guess what they didn t put the oil filter on. So congratulations Firestone for costing me another repair for the oil eating my c clip off of my shifter cable. A BIG F to this location of the company is in order & to the claims adjuster agent who never called or emailed me back after I filed a claim the first time. It is absolutely ridiculous that they fail to put oil in it the first time and then failed again when it came to tightening up the oil filter properly. -100/10 would never recommend. Y all can t do ANYTHING right and take up for your employees that didn t do right to begin with have some common sense & actually admit fault when you are wrong absolutely wrong. I would never trust this location to do the right thing in the first place much less to correct their mistakes .

This place is actually horrible , left my car here for a diagnostic appointment on a Thursday. Didn t hear back for 24 hours and called them and asked if they saw my car. They said they would get it in at the end of the day. Didn t hear anything for two more days I drove to the shop and my car was still in the same parking spot. They said that that they weren t able to get to my car anytime soon when I walked in. Don t tell me you would get my car in then when I come inside you said there was no way y all could get to my car anytime soon.

Not sure what the woman had go wrong in her life that works there, but she had the most nasty attitude I have come in contact with in some time. Rude to us, to everyone she talked to in the phone, like she personally had something against people with broken cars and a budget. Never stepping foot in this place again.

Dropped my car off at 8 am for asimple time rotation and inspection. The 9.99 special deal thing. I just picked it up at 6:30 pm and it never got done. I was told it would be done by 11 am and then at 1 pm. The lady said they were swamped and busy today. But she was very nice. I think her name was Christina. She cool but just ridiculous to take that long.

Called Firestone on 04/13/23 because check engine light came on, was told would take 2 days to run diagnostics on my vehicle, the lady I talked to on the 13th was very rude on the phone and in person. Called on 04/15/23 to get and update and was informed that the code scanning equipment was down and they didn t know when it would be fixed. Was told a tech drove it around but could not find an issue. I told them I would just come pick my vehicle up and take it somewhere else. When I got there an older man waited on and went to get my key. After about 10 minutes of looking around he couldn t find my key, the lady I talked to on the phone came over and looked at the computer screen and said they haven t looked at my vehicle yet. If you re going to lie to a customer on the phone then when they walk in my sure you remember the lie you told them and don t tell a different one. If I could give a rating of negative 5 stars I would.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I dropped my truck off at 9:30 am and was ASSURED my oil would be changed by the end of the day. I called at 2 pm, was told the exact same thing!! Call back at 5:30 and I was asked if I could leave it overnight!!!! They have no sense of urgency or customer service. Absolutely abhorrent. I showed up on time for my appointment for an alignment, inspection (brakes, etc.) and troubleshooting of my tire pressure dash light. They were obviously very busy, and I was told it would probably be around 2 hours.I waited in their waiting area (which, not surprisingly, smelled like tires) and took advantage of their pretty-decent coffee.My car was ready in just over an hour, and they didn't charge me for the inspection, turning off the tire pressure light, and fixing the pressure in the tires (all 4 were over-inflated).Good service, and friendly, professional help. Thank you!

I requested CVT fluid replacement. I was happy they were able to do it within one day, especially after having two other shops refuse to do it altogether. However, we went over the service request in detail when I dropped off, and I specifically told them I didn't want anything other than the one service. Yet they still charged me for an inspection in addition to the service. Not happy about that.Service: Transmission
