The people at this store go above and beyond to get you taken care of. I use them a lot, but when my battery died, in their parking lot we realized it was from a competing company but still under warranty. Rather than forcing me to buy one of theirs, they gave me a ride to swap my battery for free, and he still installed it. These guys are great, and Damien is the man!

Visited this location on 02/25/24 around 3:25 PM, I was looking for some Nitrile Disposable Gloves, I found some and they had a Clearance tag price on them. When I went to pay the cashiers told me it wasn't on clearance and charged me the regular price. I told them the gloves had a Clearance tag on them and they didn't even bother to acknowledge what I told them. They just totally ignored it, zero effort! The employees are mostly young, unprofessional, unhelpful and clueless. I am probably never coming back to this location, STAY AWAY if you value your time and money.

Kind courteous customer service went in for an engine check. Light came out with a smile. They got right on it and told me exactly what I needed and how to get it. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and courteous approach that the whole staff took!

Just popped in for a code reading for my check engine light that just came on. Matthew was very nice and helpful getting that done and gave me the report for what it read. Great service.

Slowest customer service and if they have to answer the phone with customers in the building the customers in the building are put on hold. Employees cannot multitask to save their life. I usually have to look the part I need up online then go into the store and tell them the part number to look up. If not it will be wrong. For me the business is walking distance from my house but if it weren't I'd go to advanced auto instead.

Tonight I stopped by Autozone, traveling to Montgomery with my 5 children, I begin to notice issues with my vehicle and pulled over to Autozone. Valerie was the first person that met and greeted me at the door, she came out and looked at my car and instantly told me what was wrong & then sold me a battery and installed it. I wish I had a tip to give her. This young lady definitely deserves a raise for the blessing that she performed tonight.

We were experiencing charging system issues while traveling from Nawlins to Nashville. We made the decision to stop in Tuscaloosa and find an Auto Zone to check the battery. We rolled into this location at 8:45 they close at 9:00 but Bobby helped us without any dispute. He checked and changed our battery and re checked out alternator which was the problem. None the less Bobby was a gentleman and a pleasure to be around. Thank you Bobby and thank you Auto Zone. Great job!!

The store manager helped me, and he went above and beyond! He got the parts that I needed and installed them all while keeping a smile on his face and having a positive attitude. It was very cold but he came outside and installed the parts with a great attitude! I would recommend this store.

They are very cool and knowledgeable about what they have to do and what's going on. They are not master mechanics but they know there stuff. The staff is just very welcoming. I had to get a battery changed and I could've changed it myself but they said they got. Thank you for being awesome.

UPDATE: Sept 2022Went here again a few days ago. Still excellent, 5-Stars!! Mr. Craig is now the store manager. Fast, friendly, professional, helpful. Checked my battery for *free*, reported all good with battery, alternator, and starter. Did not try to sell me anything. Of course I WILL go back and buy from here as soon as I need something, as experience was so positive. Highly recommend. Even their customers were kind and polite! Fantastic experience. Manager Mr. Gilkey super helpful, friendly, professional. Retired military man. Checked battery quickly, no charge. (After another place on Rice Mine wanted me to pay $85 for "diagnostics.") AutoZone folks looked up my vehicle, showed me battery choices in computer system, then installed new battery for no extra charge. Whole stop took about 30 minutes, since it was at night and not extra busy. Highly recommend! No run-around or rude workers. I felt like I was in Mayberry getting great service from a kind neighbor. Battery has worked perfectly and vehicle started every time since, no worries about getting stranded.

On Tuesday, I went to the AutoZone (69 South) around 8:15am. When I walked in, I was greeted and I asked if I could have someone check my battery and alternator because I was having to be jumped off every time I tried to used my car. We have a 2014 KIA Optima and it just reached 80,000 miles. The gentleman that told me he would check it made the comment that the machine doesn't tell me everything that could be wrong and seemed aggravated to be helping me at all. He checked both my battery and alternator and told me they were both good, actually great no issues. So my husband and I have been trying to figure out what else could be wrong since Tuesday because its like the battery was being drained and in need of a jump 10 minutes after turning it off. So after my husband asked around for 4 days, we just decided to go buy the battery and see if that would fix the problem even though we were told it was in great condition by the employee at AutoZone. This afternoon (Friday), my husband and I went back to AutoZone on 69 South and was told our battery would be $200.00 for our make and model car but they didn't have it in stock. They informed us the Cottondale location did. My husband went to the Cottondale location and the employee (older gentleman that wears glasses), checked the battery and said it was BAD!! My husband purchased the battery and paid approximately $230.00 and the employee installed it. Our vehicle has started up every time since and we are extremely satisfied with the service we received from the Cottondale location. We will more than likely go to the Cottondale location from now on, even though its farther away from our home. We would like to go to the AutoZone on 69 South but we didn't receive the best service from them this week.

First time visiting this location and was very disappointed by the workers here. We weren't greeted at all neither were we asked if we needed help. On top of that we stood at the counter waiting to check out, while two of the employees stood there talking and laughing. Not even acknowledging that we were standing there. They even walked away while we were standing there. Other customers walked in, and were greeted. I had to say something to the workers in order to be checked out. Will not be visiting the location anymore.

Not very helpful. Cashier was carrying on a conversation with co-worker during entire checkout process. Had 4 items and had to interrupt cashiers conversation to ask if I could have a bag for my items. Seemed like staff were really bothered by me coming in to spend money.

Employees here are very helpful and friendly. The store itself could use a little organization but nothing major. Only disappointment here is, everytime I go in to purchase something for my dodge ram at least 1 of the items I need is out of stock. A solid 3 1/2 stars for me.

Rise staff. I was in need of a product that they had just come in on a pallet . They said they didn't want to unpack the pallet so I should just come back tomorrow. My project was time Sensitive and I needed if ASAP. The customer service was terrible. One female associate who sounds like she is from new york bronx area makes me never want to shop at this location again.

Always quality parts. Store is very clean. A few employees (male and female) could use some customer Service training but always one sweet lady that never let's me down...can't ever remember her name. Short white lady.

This is a very good autozone. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They stay well stocked and always seem to be working when I go in. I have yet to go in and they not have what I need. My number one stop for auto parts.

Where do I begin? First let me express my gratitude to Fritzgerald for his help today. My car battery died in the driveway of my home, roadside service was sent to jump me off. I went to AutoZone and Fritzgerald and Mose took the time to change it for me, and I must say it was a total pain in the butt but they did it anyway. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! for such kind and courteous service from Fritz and Mose.

They usually have the parts you need, but be ready to walk in, not be greeted, and then stand at the counter for 15 minutes before you are acknowledged to either check out or get a part. There's a problem with people walking in and being helped before the customers that have been waiting as well.

Shoutout to Mr. Randolph and his store#4963, Autozone should be proud to have an employee of his integrity and devotion to his customers! I was traveling 5/09/20 along I-20 and had an alternator go out on my truck, picked up one at his store( very helpful) it was raining so I decide to go on down the road to a shelter or till it stopped raining ( headed to Atlanta Ga) as luck would have it electrical shut down about 20 miles down the road. Found shelter ( still raining) . Go to put it on -not correct one larger, call the store explain my problem. Mr. Randolph called me back said he would be there in 20 min. He showed up with the right part and stayed with us while I made the change, got me cranked up and on my way! Tried to give him a tip for his troubles but would not take it. Said he looked out for his customers to make sure they come back, just the right thing to do he says. I m a autozone customer for life! All parts places have parts, but not all have Mr.Randolph! People make the difference! Autozone should be proud to have him managing one of their stores! Won t shop any where else!

Associate is a slave to the computer and doesn't know how to look up a part by engine code or Vin number. They want to know if the car is le se or s model. Having been in the parts business myself I know that this is pure laziness, they can search a part with year make model and engine code/Vin number. Obviously this location doesn't want to serve it's customers

I ve only been here a handful of times, but every time I go these guys are always extremely knowledgeable and helpful! They assist me with my vehicle and answer any questions I have..even the dumb ones. They have everything you need if not at this particular store then they can request it from a nearby store.

First time I ever been to an Auto Zone and wasn't greeted or asked if I needed help finding anything. Then when we stood at the register waiting, the 2 employees just stood there talking to each and kept ignoring but greeted people coming in behind us. The female employee then walked away from us.
