If ever there was a place that came back from a bad first impression, AR Auto did. I've been trying to find someone local to work on my Jaguar that was leaking coolant, and after calling several shops, this place had no problem.We showed up right before 8am and no one was there. After waiting about 5 minutes, we were about to leave. I tried calling and no answer. I walked back up to the front door and they were unlocking the doors. This was the bad first impression, but everything was uphill from here.They had my car diagnosed by 11am with a fair quote. By 1pm I was picking my car up with no more leak.I will definitely be back.

My son is in school at U of A and recently had issues with his Toyota, on the recomendation from one of his friends, I Called AR Automotive. Angel and his team went to my son's apartment, towed his vehicle to the shop and quickly diagnosed the problem. Repairs were made and I was truly "pleasntly surprised" with what he charged. Great customer service, kept me in the loop the whole time. Hopefully he will not need them again, but if he has car problems again, I know who my first will be to! I was a first time customer and if I need my car worked on I will definitely use AR automotive , with no hesitation.I called on a Friday , 3 hours before they closed til Monday ... and they had my car ready on Saturday by 5 !! Angel was very nice & honest about what was wrong & not wrong with my air , and I felt I got a great price .

This was my first time having to get my car serviced and it was nothing like the usual horror stories that most people have. Took my car in and got it back the same day. Was not pressured to get anything changed that I didn t find necessary. Angel explained every single thing itemized on the quoted receipt. He also answered all of my other random questions about my new vehicle. Yeah, I will not be going anywhere else to get this burdening hunk of metal serviced. Also, the prices were the most reasonable out of four other garages I called in the Northport area, considering I got my car back the exact same day. They also offer the cheapest diagnosis in the area, in case you just want to find the actual problem and not truly get it fixed that day.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance

These guys saved me.I was visiting Tuscaloosa for the weekend and my spark plugs started to go bad. My truck was in no condition to drive back 200 miles home, but it was a weekend, and nobody was open to see it. I called around, and nobody answered but AR. They weren't open, but for some reason I called anyways. The owner picked up, and instead of telling me he was closed, he asked me about my car. He told me he could get it fixed by the end of the day, and he did.Angel at AR saved me! I don't think I would have been able to get back home for work the next day if it weren't for him.

They are very professional my daughter car had problems on a big football weekend and they picked it up Fri night it was fixed by Saturday night . Very fast and took care of business.

I can't say enough how wonderful this shop was. I got towed into town in the middle of a road trip the week before a holiday. All other shops in town were booked through the middle of next week and thank goodness for Angel and this shop. They got me turned around in 24 hours and back on the road. Great customer service, Angel is a gem. I really can't recommend their work and service enough. Thank you for saving my July 4th weekend plans and making a stressful situation much more manageable. I use my car for work and had an emergency just a couple hours before the closing time of most any repair shop. AR fit me in near the end of their day, stayed after close to fix my car (the only shop out of the 10+ that I called willing to do so), and changed my oil as well. Angel was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Overall, a wonderful experience for a less than wonderful situation. Quick, reliable, and high quality serviceI dropped off my Mercedes S class without having an appointment scheduled. They diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, and fixed my car in a day. I have tried other places in Tuscaloosa to work on my Mercedes but, none of them are quick and reliable like AR Automotive.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10!!! The owner is super nice and respectful! I had to pick my friend up from here & he was very clear and educated both of us on what was wrong with her car. He took the time to come and meet me, he waited with my friend past business hours until she was safely in my car. This business is honestly so great & even better service! I definitely will be taking my car here in the future.

I cannot give this place a high enough rating. Angel is a consummate professional who is a straight shooter, open and honest with what's going on with your vehicle. He specializes in foreign cars, but they are on it!Excellent prices, excellent work.Get your vehicle inspected for issues here.

I stopped by Auto Tech & Tires earlier today. I was out on a business trip and needed a quick oil change. The owner was very attentive and respectful. My oil was changed in less than 15 minutes. No up charge or up sell. Wonderful customer service and they make you feel at home and cared for. I highly recommend Auto Tech & Tires to anyone in the Tuscaloosa or Northport Area.

I am a student at UA who was having some troubles with the brakes on my car. After going to the dealership and waiting over two hours for them, they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to solve what they said were the problems. I decided to research other mechanics in the area and found Auto Tech and Tires. They had great reviews and were conveniently near by. I came in and they did an inspection on my car, after just 15 minutes they were able to determine what was wrong with it. They had the brakes working again the next day. Unlike the dealership, they actually diagnosed the problem correctly and were able to solve it for a fraction of the price. Overall a great place to take your car if you ever have any issues, especially for students.

I call Auto and Tires to see was they available to an oil change on a late Friday evening. Nick told me to bring my vehicle in and they will get me taken care of. Upon arrival i was greeted with great customer service, the area was very neat and clean. The service was real fast and quick. So if anyone want great customer service, fast service and very nice staff. Auto Tech and Tires should be your 1st stop no more sitting in Walmart 2 hours waiting on an oil change. Last but least they are very affordable. Thanks auto tech and tires for your great customer service, i will be back again.

I received great same day service. I needed a new starter and these guys installed it within an hour and a half. I was shocked that the part was already in stock! The price was very reasonable and I will definitely comeback for all my future work.

Highly recommend!! Staff very knowledgeable and was very informative of what was being done to my car all while showing me during maintenance services. I don t plan to ever take my car back to the dealership after coming to AR Automotive. Trust me, this is the place to bring your car for its maintenance needs!

First time visiting Auto Tech and Tire and I must say, Nick was very friendly, nice and made me feel welcomed. The service was super fast and he appreciated me for coming to get my car serviced. The building was very clean there as well. I will definitely be coming back to get my vehicles serviced there.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for students (discounts) and non students! My first time here and will always come back!! They showed/walked me through EVERYTHING that needed to be fixed on my car. Super nice with positive attitudes.

I would highly recommend anyone to come here, but especially students who don t know much about their cars. If you hear any single problem, come in before it gets worse. They treat you so wonderfully and explain every step of the process! They offer a great student discount for parts and oil changes. They take WONDERFUL CARE OF YOU!!!!!! They really care about your safety on the road vs making the most money!!!

Nick and mechanics at Auto Tech & Tires really do put customer service at the leading drive for their company. They provide the highest level of quality for their customers over the quantity, and for great rates! This was my first time bringing my G35 to them and they now have a returning customer for any maintenance or mechanical needs! Thank you guys for your service and professionalism.

I was impressed by the great quality of the service. My car is a 1998 Buick LaSabre and after the repairing provided by this shop, itnow runs really smoothly. Additionally, the car was washed and cleaned up so well that it looks like new. I appreciate the manager who also took the time to show me in detail the work that was done to my car. Great car service and amazing customer service.

Had my 2006 Nissan Titan towed to them based on my truck would not start after multiple attempts to jump it off. Nick and his staff could ve easily advised me on a starter or battery for my truck but he charged my battery and cleaned terminals. I will always come here based on their honesty!

Had an appointment today at 4 for an oil change. For my convenience, they were able to get to my car a hour early.Nick was in the front... super nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

I brought my car here due to my Mazda 3 engine failure and it took them no time to find the problem and fix it , when I came to pick it up they had clean the inside and outside so I wouldn t have too . They also patched up my 2 back tires , I would recommend to anybody having any car problems or concerns . Great mechanics all around best place to bring your car .

I called the cops for someone called angel he damaged my car he charged me 650$ cash please guys don t pay him cash pay by using your card so you can dispute transaction when he does something wrong in addition he changed the store name to escape from the justice.

I came here and they gave excellent customer service and helped me very fast. They gave me a student and faculty discount, just for having my student ID with me!!!! A 10% discount just for being a student!! Waseem Khan is who helped me and he was the BEST!!!! He is so sweet and really helped me. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
