Going to the mechanic is never a great time, and that is the position I found myself recently when I visited A&W Repair. Ken, Billy, and the rest of the folks did a phenomenal job diagnosing my issue, repairing the problem, and also helping me through a call back on the repair the next day. At no charge! This is only one of a couple of great experiences I have had with A&W. Great customer service. Highly recommended!

Decent place for decent prices. Described to them about my weak jeep clutch, and they put in a slave cylinder. Clutch broke soon after (not their fault at all) and they took $100 off the price to replace (cost about $700) because the first part they replaced wasn't what i was talking about. Very friendly and even gave me a ride back on campus after i dropped my car off. One of the guys in there knows a pretty decent amount on jeeps.

These guys were great. They got us in and back on the road faster than most other places could make an appointment.

Wonderful experience here! Would recommend them to anyone needing repairs! As a single woman auto repair shops tend to take advantage of that. These people went above and beyond! Trustworthy, honest and friendly! Thank you guys so much!

I don't know how they do with other cars, but these guys did not do great work on my 1999 Subaru Forester L. They replaced the timing belt, and a few months later, the clutch. They failed to fully torque down the crankshaft pulley, which would have resulted in a the timing belt coming off and then catastrophic engine failure had I not caught it in time. Now the rear main seal is leaking, which they should have inspected and probably replaced when they had the transmission out to do the clutch. In order to fix that, I'll have to have someone to pull the transmission or engine to get to the rear main seal, which is a huge job. In their defense, Subarus are pretty rare around here and they probably don't get many chances to look at them, and with the boxer engine, they're much different than most other vehicles. I just wish they would have referred me to another shop that knows what they're doing on Subarus.

Don't call this place unless you expect to get hung up on instantly. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
