Brian and Dane are great! Everytime we take a car in for an issue, they are kind , courteous and they are honest! Brian took the time to show my wife what was wrong with her car and got her taking care of within a short time ! Best run places in Trussville! The mechanics do a great job and the service and price is always the best!

These guys are top notch! Brian and Dane are courteous, professional, knowledgeable and provide fantastic customer service. They listen to you, do great work, have reasonable prices and don't treat you differently because you are female. Unfortunately I have had that happen to me at other shops, but it has never happened here. They also complete work when promised and it's always done in a timely manner. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. I would highly recommended them for all your car car needs!Service: Oil change

I've had a total of 3 transmissions done by these guy (different cars). Dane is the easiest guy to work with on this stuff. He's honest with you and fair. Stuff costs money and it takes time. But they really do try to cost you the least of both whenever possible.

Dane and Brian are great! We had to unfortunately get a new transmission and saw the great reviews for this Aamco in Trussville. They were straightforward and told us exactly what we needed. Obviously it wasn't cheap but we knew that would happen...had no choice. Dropped it one day and had it back the next day working great! Very friendly employees.

My daughter lives in Alabama and I live in Mississippi. Brian and Dane at the Trustville location handled my daughter s vehicle with care and in a timely manner over the phone. My experience with Brian and Dane at Aamco Transmission was nothing but excellent. I was told one date when I was going to get my car back, and got it back two days early! I just bought this 1999 F250, and the transmission wouldn't shift out of 3rd, Everyone else that I called said they where 4 weeks out, except Brian at AAMCO.They jumped right on it, found the issue, fixed it for way less than I was expecting. Awesome people who treat you like you matter. It's very rare to find a transmission shop that you can trust.But this one, I wish I could give it 5 stars. This kind of service is almost unheard of in today's world.Thank you Brian & Dane, I will definitely be useing this shop in the future .Service: Transmission

After being recommended to Aamco Trussville, we are very happy we listened. We were quoted a very resonable price and extremely reasonable turn around time for a transmission on 2016 Enclave and both of those promises were kept. I have been telling people this is the place to go with all your car needs. It was well worth going to Trussville from below Bessemer to get the great service we got. Hopefully, we will not need them again, but I will surely use them if neededService: Transmission

Wow! Really great service and quality. I had a lot of things wrong with my truck including the transmission and they fixed it all in 2 days! I thought it was a joke when they called and told me it was ready. The last place I had a transmission replaced in took 6 weeks and cost a lot more. This is the first repair shop that I have been to that was honest, priced fair, and did what they said they would do. Highly recommend.

My transmission starting slipping on the way home from vacation. I was able to get it back to AAMCO. I spoke with Dane and he gave me a reasonable quote for a rebuild. His crew was able to get it rebuilt in just a couple days. I had some concerns after the rebuild and he addressed each of them. Since the rebuilt I've had my u-joints and slip yoke replaced. Truck is running better than the day I bought it. Would recommend.Service: Transmission

The staff and service here has been great thus far. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They provide a range of options to help meet your budget but don't get me wrong it is transmission repair. The service was timely so I did not have to go with my car to long. If you in this area and need this service definitely check them out.

Our experience started with a receptive phone call to both Dane and Garret. They both have a "Yes We Can" type of attitude and gave us a quick pre-diagnosis by phone along with a pretty quick drop off time. When we dropped off our 750Li BMW with Dane, it was a hot mess and would not move. He quickly greeted us at his shop and brought us inside to setup expectation. The interior of the shop office was nice, clean and organized. You can tell these people take pride in their shop. The staff here seem like hard workers and Dane is very knowledgeable and ready to answer your questions with a competent and quick response each and every time. This shop clearly knows what they are doing. Dane presented us with a few options to pick from. Considering this was a pretty complex repair job, we were surprised he could do it because many shops are not advanced enough to handle something like this. From start to finish, he was able to sort parts and repair both the mechatronics computer and our transmission. This shop is capable of doing other repairs as well from what we could see. I had a great experience with their staff! I came in for a second opinion on getting my transmission flushed. Dane treated me very kindly and didn't talk down to me, taking time with my questions. They quickly took a look at my car, gave me complete information, and plenty of options, and didn't charge me for the look!! I completely recommend this location!

I recently bought a 2013 Accord from a dealership and started having transmission issues after a few weeks of owning the vehicle. After taking it to two different dealerships with no success, Dane gave me very specific instructions to take it directly to Aamco when the vehicle had a hard shift like I was experiencing sporadically. He said the key was to leave it running so they could correctly identify the code to fix the problem. Last week this all took place and within 10 minutes the issue was correctly identified. Dane is a straight shooter and very customer focused two things I am looking for and appreciate when dealing with any business. I highly recommend him and his team.

I had to have my engine replaced on my vehicle. They were patient when dealing with the warranty company and kept us informed along the way. They did a great job! Dane is an awesome manager!

I totally appreciate the professionalism of excellent customer service from Dane and his colleagues at AAMCO in Trussville. I needed a major repair done to my transmission and they took care of my problem quickly within a week. Now I feel a total great change in how my car shifts and drives, it can really go now. If you need major repairs done to your car, then AAMCO in Trussville, Al. is the right place of business to go to. Thank you again Dane. You're AWESOME!!!

My 2007 Tacoma had a shudder coming from the transmission/torque converter. Dane and his team diagnosed the issue and had my transmission rebuilt in less than two days. I was impressed with the turnaround time considering one of the days was New Years Eve. Dane provided good customer service and I thought the repair bill was fair. I have driven around 2,000 miles since the rebuild and have had no issues. This was my first experience with an AAMCO, but I would certainly recommend them for any transmission work.

No one is happy when their engine light comes on and it spits out a code for transmission troubles. After a quick visit to Dane at Aamco in Trussville, I was diagnosed, given several treatment options, and taken care of quickly. The shop was clean, the guys were nice, and the work was done with a warranty. Would highly recommend them!
