Very nice room and very convenient to town. My only issue is that this is supposed to be a pet friendly place. I have 2 service dogs and the owner has given me the hardest time. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep in their kennels. They are fully potty trained and potty outside. I'm disabled and need my service dogs to help assist me. I don't understand why the owner has been giving me a hard time. My dogs are not vicious nor have they been cutting up or barking. If anyone has service dogs,then I would not recommend this place to you. Everything else is good here. Clean room and bathroom. Nice little place but not a so nice place when it comes to service dogs. The owner only allowed me to stay 2 nights because I have service dogs. They will not be getting anymore of my business nor anyone else I know. Not to mention what appears to be blood stains on the ceiling and what seems to be holes from bullets....Noteworthy details: Don't pay to stay if you have service dogs! The owner will harass you until you leave!

Clean, comfortable, quiet and safe room. If you paid 60 bucks for a room anywhere in America right now I don't think you would get what I got here. You can tell the amenities are older such as the air conditioner microwave refrigerator but they are all completely functioning, everything is clean, and I haven't heard a bit of us outside. It's not in the real congested area of the Highway and the lady at the front desk was very nice.I paid $150 to stay at a roadway last week that had a door that didn't lock and I felt unsafe people yelling in the parking lot all night in Fort Pierce, FloridaAble to get the rest in recovery needed to get back on the road.

Stayed in room 33 last night. Got moved at 2 AM after I found bed bugs. Killed several, and took them to the owner. Was moved to room 35. Would have just left, but driver had been drinking. Woke up to maids cleaning room 33 like nothing had happened. Have video of the bed bugs. Calling the health department on Monday. This was several adult and many smaller bed bugs. This was not a recent infestation. Do not stay here

You get what you pay for. It has everything I expected: a fridge, microwave, tv, hot water, decent bed.The walls were dirty and the doors needed some repair, but it was a good price and humble.3 stars.

A bit shady and creepy looking but Troy has few places to stay and when something is happening you won't find a room. Surprisingly, it was a decent clean room w/ 2 King beds, mini fridge, nice bathroom, and the only noise was from the Hwy but you can drown it out w/ the AC/heat/fan unit. This was 1 of the front rooms, I cannot attest to any other room or what all of the rooms behind the motel, which were full of construction workers & misc. folks coming & going, were like.

Rooms are decent for price. Always full on weekends. Club/bar next door. Only one in town. Owners and housekeeping staff are all nice people. I'll stay again.

Poor room condition as well as rude management. Housekeeping is very rude and rushing guests to leave or pay hours before check out time. Econo lodge is well worth the few extra dollars just for hospitality and comfort.

This place is filled with bedbugs and roaches. I had the room for two weeks before I realized that it was bedbugs biting me at night and not mosquitoes. I asked for another room and once I entered it roaches were crawling all over the place. I asked for my refund and the woman accused me of lying...saying that there was no bugs in the bed or room. I then showed her the bedbug bites that are everywhere on my body, along with a recorded video of the tiny bedbugs crawling on the sheets and mattress. And all she (the woman/owner) could do was stare at the video, when I showed her the bites on my body she says okay. When I hand her my debit card, she tells me that she cannot refund me, but when I suggest calling the police she quickly disappears only to return with cash and says "Next time you come no room" . I told her that if I comeback I will be bringing the news station with me.

The owners showed great hospitality to my family which included my little shihtzu, we evacuated from Panama City Florida, the couple didn't charge for my dog and didn't take advantage of us by trying to raise prices or over charge us. Just need some maintenance on the bathrooms.

Very comfortable bed and clean room. Good price with small pets. Slept very well. Troy is my halfway when driving south so I will return here to stay.

We have stayed here 2 times, the owners remembered us from the first time. The beds are great, inexpensive, and the people are very friendly.

Walls are thin and you can hear people talking so loud, that we couldn't sleep at night. The room is not enough clean.

A very cheap room, but very adequate. Bed was nice, the hot water was lukewarm.

It was only $50 and my car was still here in the morning, what else could you ask for? The toilets even flushed, kind of.

It is an inexpense place to stay when you need one.. I have seen roaches in the room on several occassions
