This was an amazingly easy experience! I just pulled up. They directed me to a bay. I stayed in my car. They changed my oil and it only cost me 62 bucks. Took 15 min max. I will forever go here!!! Excellent service and time consumed.

They were able to get our small motorhome serviced with professional and efficient people.

This is the second time I ve tried to give this place a chance. They are unbelievably slow. If you pull up and have anyone in front of you go somewhere else because you will be there for an hour. Even if you can pull straight in you better have a least 30 minutes. I ve never seen an Express Oil Change so slow. And if you look at everyone working they look like they are moving in slow motion - no effort, no urgency.

They were incredibly nice and understanding, and the oil change was quick and efficient.

We were traveling through Troy and needed a quick repair to the underside of our car. The mechanics at Express Oil Change took us right away and got us back on the road quickly. Very grateful for their help and friendliness.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

We live an hour away and had to come to Troy. On the way, our AC went out. I called and it was closing time but they took air right in. They figured out the problem, did a temporary fix until we could get to a dealership to get the part. Highly recommend. Great quality service. Thank you!Service: A/C installation & repairService: A/C installation & repair

Would have given 5 stars but they didn't show me the oil level once filled( I am used to seeing it at other locations) ; so I guess I am trusting them on that. I also had to give the young lady my milage [ perhaps she was going to use the sticker for reference] but that would have been off by 1,000 miles. 1500 take a lot of oil and she did check it herself 3 times so just wondering? Gonna pull that dope myself this evening. You pay the extra for max high mile you expect thoroughness.

I come here when I m not able to set an appointment with my dealer for an oil change. That being said, after they had their renovation and all, this place is slower. It s not a 10 minute oil change . It s more like 30 minutes. Do not come here if there s somewhere you gotta be later. (30 minutes per car. If you re 3rd in line expect to wait over an hour).Service: Auto maintenance

After sitting in line for 30 minutes I noticed the staff standing around eating and talking. Taking breaks and smoking when line of cars was in the parking lot. No need to be in a hurry if you come here. Didn t check anything else under the hood as they should took over 35 minutes for an oil change after I was in the bay.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I've never had anyone change my oil before, but a last minute trip and no time made it a necessity. They used my oil and filter, and where friendly and professional. I'll return for sure. Since I never have to leave the vehicle, I can keep an eye on things and make sure I'm getting what I asked for.Update: this has become my go to. For the price of carry in oil, it is well worth the cost to save myself crawling under my vehicle abs making a mess.

Very reliable! I've been going here for years. I had the first problem with them last week, the oil filter did not seal right. I took it back today, and not only did they replace the filter, they cleaned up all the oil under my car, supplied me with Floor-Dry for my carport, and gave me cash for the oil I purchased and my trouble. Service doesn't get much better than that!

Always a great experience. The staff are very honest and if you dont need a new air filter when your car says you do, they'll let you know the truth. And when you need one, they'll show you and show you the new one they will put in. Definitely not out to get your money. Honest and fast.

The older man at the front was a super rude. The other workers seemed nice and helpful. However, they tried to charge me $237 for an ignition coil that I bought later at Auto Zone (new) for $85 which is where they buy their parts from. I wouldnt let them do more than an oil change.

They were busy. But they got me in and took care of business. Never have I had a problem. They also have a regular mechanic to take care of brakes, water pumps, hoses and belts. Just an all around good place to do business.

Great place! All I needed was a pressure check of my tires. The man there was very nice, helpful, and checked all 4 tires( at no cost), bringing all tires to their proper " PSI". Would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Not the smartest crew. Said my oil drain plug was rounded off. Told me they didn t know how long it would take or if they could even get it out, yadda yadda. Turns out they just weren t sticking the star-bit in far enough. Glad I took it somewhere else before spending extra money. I don t recommend.

Decent service, but more like 30 minute oil change instead of 10

Charlie and Richard were EXCELLENT!! I had been to another location and the premium wiper blades I received started to scrub after only a month of use. Charlie and Richard took care of us quickly and replaced our blades. Now that's CUSTOMER SERVICE GREATNESS!!

Great mechanic work, both professional and courteous, the owner should be thankful for such a great group of employees, I really hope they're being paid their worth.

Other than having to listen to a manager yell at an employee to go home, it was an ok oil change. They should take 10 minutes off the sign though. I was third in line and there over an hour.

Quick and professional. When my dealer said he was busy and I would have to wait until another day, they serviced my car as soon as I drove up.

I went to get a tire plugged and they told me that it could not be plugged because there was a cut in the sidewall of the tire & that I would need a new tire. They never even showed me the cut. My tires were not even a year old so I knew something was not right. I asked them to just put my spare on and put my tire in the trunk and left. After I looked at my tire there was a screw, but it was in the tread and had not punctured all the way through. I went over to Jim Whaley & they plugged it with no issue at all and told me that I had some pretty good tires. Jim Whaley didn t even charge me to plug my tire!! So either express oil doesn t know how to plug tires or they are complete liars and crooks!Service: Tires

This was my second time going since the name change, my check engine light was on so I paid 25.00 for a diagnostic the assistant asked if I was having problems, I said no but I wanted to see what the problem was so he said he would clear the codes and what ever came back up would definitely need repairing. I said ok and proceeded to get the invoice. A familiar face set inside of the office Walmart's old Store Manager Bobby B. Small talk was made and I agreed to doing business. GOT MY KEYS TO FIND OUT MY CAR WOULDNT CRANK...OK NO PANIC TOLD THE GUY. HE went out tried jumping it off ...nothing ...mechanic 1 came tried nothing ...mechanic 2 came tried...nothing ...beat the starter nothing ( keep in my I was having NO PROBLEMS..) mechanic 2 got a long screwdriver and went down and attempted to crank it by bypassing the starter ...4 attempts fail.. so I'm waiting on a resolution when I was told...this wasnt there fault and there was nothing they could do ...it had to be a manufacturer's problem that was the EVAPC evaporative emission...but it was nothing they did and nothing they could do..I let my car sit there for 2 weeks and the only time they called was to see if someone could bring a key to push it out of the way and if I saw the diagnostic device that may have been left inside....no let us at least get it towed as a courtesy or can we take you somewhere...when people tell you bad things about places ...LISTEN its often time true

Feb 23 I went in to the Troy al shop to have a valve cover gasket replaced. Less than 1 month and 1300 miles later I have replaced 4 quarts of oil. I can see the leak so I went in to show them . The mechanic tells me it's the oil filter housing seal and the rear main seal. I disagree so management has them clean the oil off the engine and tell me to return in a few days so they can diagnose the leak. I drive approximately 20 miles and lose all oil pressure. call a different shop for a tow. As I watched the whole time they carefully remove the valve cover to find the gasket not seated and part was actually pinched on the INSIDE of the cover. EXACTLY WHERE I TOLD THEM IT WAS LEAKING. Today cost me $75 tow, $80 to diagnose and repair FAULTY WORK FROM EXPRESS OIL and $20 for oil. That's $175 on top of the $137 EXPRESS OIL OF TROY ALABAMA STOLE FROM ME

Went to get an oil change a month a go and the boss told me i needed new tires. I asked for quotation first. I couldnt afford it and when i said that i cant buy all 4 tires, he said that my car is a junk and need to be listed as totaled and he went to grab his mechanic so he could see what he meant. The mechanic told me otherwise. When the boss left, the mechanic and the guy who changed my oil both said that i only have to fix the arm for my car and i did. It is now fixed. It was unprofessional just because i wouldnt buy the tires.Service: Tires

The oil change time is ridiculous. It's definitely not 10 minutes or less. More like 30 minutes or more. A waste of time!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
