This place was a saving grace for us in a dire time of need! We had just purchased a car and within aa matter of days it died going down the road. We reached out to the shop and had it towed there. Mr. Jeff went above and beyond to get our car back in working order and even found and repaired what would have lead to future issues. Excellent service!

Amazed and thankful! Squeezed me in to check on my car as I m from out of state! Even called to check on my progress home later! I made it at 11 pm! Thank you again and for being wonderful human beings!

Excellent work, fair priced, timely, and a great guy to boot, both of them actually. Not that anyone wants to need a mechanic, but I'll be using DC Automovite again when that time comes.

These guys do good work not knocking that at all. It was very sketchy that they would only take forms of payment untraceable by the government. It was such a hassle to pay these guys because they only took cash or cashiers checks. Very paranoid about getting hacked .Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

My daughter started at Troy University as a freshman this year! We live in Florida. She called home to let me know know she was having problems with her car overheating, not holding fluids, A/C nor heating working and she was no where near home. Her father is deployed and I could not get to her. I looked on line for auto repair in Troy AL and I read almost all the reviews for each repair facility. I called and spoke to Jeff who told me to have her put some water in it and get it to him. He assured me he d take a look and let us know as soon as possible. Unfortunately she could not get there immediately due to classes. I drove up on the weekend to see if I could find any leaks (funny sight a mom under the hood of her college daughter s hood trying to look like she knows what she is doing long nails and all lol). Of course I had no clue what I was looking at. In the mean time I filled the car with water and told my daughter to do her best not to drive it very much if possible. The following Friday she took the car to Jeff at DC Automotive; and although she did not drive the vehicle since I put water in it the prior weekend to our dismay it was completely dry. She called when she arrived and Jeff assured me no repairs would not be made without talking to me first. He was honest and said he didn t know when he would take a look at the car. I got a call from him on Monday and he said he found the leak and he could have it ready in about an hour or so. I told him my daughter didn t have a ride and there were absolutely no Ubers available (surprising since this is a college town). Anyway he picked her up on the street she lives on and took her to his shop cause he knew she had class at 4pm (I stayed on face time with her the entire time!) She was a little late to her class but we paid less than $300. I don t know what it was about him but something from day one told me Jeff was someone I could trust and have faith in. He took care of my baby girl just like she was related to him. He was very professional, understanding and did not try to price gouge me. We will definitely be going back if we have any more issues while my daughter is attending Troy, but with the way her vehicle is running (nice and cool) I don t think that will be anytime soon. I would 1000% recommend D C Automotive and Jeff! I m one happy momma bear!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have a student that attend Troy. We live almost 3 hours away. My daughter car wouldn t crank. We got a jump and took it straight to DC s. Jeff made SURE that my daughter got to rolling. I know I called him all but 22 times. He was just as friendly the 22nd time as he was the 1st time. We have definitely found ourselves a Troy mechanic. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

My daughter is away at school at Troy and began having car issues. I called and explained what was going on. He knew exactly what the problem was and offered to get her in the same day. She had class and couldn t make it but he got her in first thing the next morning. She said he was very nice and didn t make me feel stupid . Thank you for taking care of my daughter. Hopefully, there won t be any more car troubles but should she need her car serviced again, she ll be back.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Highly recommend this place. (I had been having a nightmare of a time trying to get a transmission leak fixed. About 2 months of dealing with mechanics that would tell me it was fixed when it wasn't. ) I dropped it off with these guys and they had it fixed the next day. No more leaking. Wish I would've taken it here first. These guys are real mechanics that know what they're doing.

They did a great job and showed me the bad parts with out me having to ask to see them. That never happens at other repair shops. Reasonably priced repairs.
