Took our 5th wheel here for a roof leak and damage. We've used them for 30+ years, beginning with cars, then followed them to the RV repair. Straightforward, honest, willing to let you know the real deal and not sugarcoat. There is not another place in town I would consider using or recommending someone to use. These people and their staff are professional, knowledgable, and genuine. Not sure about the review below, but these things take time, and they have lots of business. Keeping up with the progress of your repair is on the owner, and we were always updated when we called to ask about progress. Great repairs, great people, and top of the list for us.

The work that was performed turned out very good but they had my bus for at least 9 weeks and I was not kept in the loop about any ideas on what the bill would be. In the end I was hit with a bill of over $4,000 without any forewarning. C.J. was a good guy to deal with but not staying in touch with progress reports and a rising ticket is not a good practice in my opinion.

If you ever need a towing company you have to use Ricky at Bay City Towing and Recovery Top notch service. My car was picked up & delivered QUICKLY & SAFELY! I can t say enough about how well he kept me calm instead of panicking throughout this process. He cared about my car and eased my anxiety & that says a lot about his business ethics. 5 Stars Thank you so much! Be sure to ask for Ricky

The staff was nice but they had my camper for 2 months. They didn't return calls promptly, and never made the repairs requested, didn't even look it over for damage, tried to stop leak with masking tape! And even lost my keys. Could not recommend using them.

Great place 100%!! The Owners take great pride in everything done here!! Rare find in a company they stand behind the work done and the employees are friendly and hard working!! They will get the job done and do what they say they are gonna do!! Wouldn t go anywhere else!

This company is a joke! They towed my sons car due to an accident and the tow truck driver, James, was given to much money. He was not honest and did not return the money! The old lady in the office was very rude when I went over there and was very politely explaining the situation, she kept putting her hands in my face until I told her there was no reason to be rude. She even said James told her he was given 3 fifties a twenty and a 5 which is what was gave to him for a tow that I was charged $125. Anyways these people are thieves and their employees look like dope heads. Did I mention that when James, the tow truck driver arrived at the scene his eyes was as big as a silver dollar he was so high he couldn't even talk right

Just great people we dealt with Pam. We had a leak in our brand spanking new class A and she set up an appointment right of way and promptly fix the problem. We had bought our Motorhome in Florida so the local dealer in Mobile Al refused to do any kind of work including warranty work. That worked in our favor and we found Bay City. One of our neighbors had mentioned them in conversation before and so we thought we call them and we are so glad we did. We highly recommend Bay City paint & body RV Center

Highly recommended towing service. Our driver was Matt & he treated our vehicle with care in addition to welcoming us to the city. His kind recommendation for repair was spot on. I am normally skeptical of tow drivers (kickbacks) and even through my being aloof and cautious, he was considerate, educated, and professional. We are so pleased they are on the list of approved tow companies with our insurance.

I would not suggest using this service. This service was used through my road side assistance on my insurance and I did not have the initial contact with them and it was stated that I would not be with my car. Bay City was supposed to pick up my car while I was at work. I missed a few calls and returned the call to have a woman at Bay Side essentially harassing me, screaming at me and asking why I could not answer and where my car was. My insurance set up the tow, not me, and I did not deserve any sort of attitude or harassment. I could not describe the location it was towed to, because it was towed to a storage location the night before and I was not there. I am not from Mobile and have no idea any name of streets or locations as I just moved here one month ago. I knew the name of the place it was located only and I was yelled at, although my insurance company gave them the address, not me. My logic is that you should never yell at a paying customer, especially when they have not even said a single word to you before. How incredibly rude, as if my car breaking down after a move across the country wasn't stressful enough. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

I got ran off road in my truck.It happened about two miles from my house.I hit a phone pole and got injured.Before being transported to hospital. I requested my truck be towed to my house.After being released my truck was not in my yard.I found out Bay Ciy towing towed it to their lot.I call to asked them to tow it to my house on a Friday. Although I had towing insurance,they said I had to come pay a hundred and fifty dollars first.Here i was with no,vehicle,beat up and bruised up by wreck.I told them I couldn't tell i could get a way. There place is about twenty miles from mine.They agreed to wave twenty five a day that weekend and Martin Luther King day. For bank was closed that day.Although I was upset about the long tow and fee.I just wanted my truck.I'm an elderly man and the truck is my livelyhood.I go there today,Tuesday.Payed the hundred and fifty and had the lady at front desk to talk to my insursnce agent for payment to tow truck to my place.They both agreed. That's another seventy five dollars.I wait all day for delivery.I call towing company around four.The lady said my truck is on the way.I walk out to end of my drive and see the tow truck with my truck coming my way.I only live a short ways down. The road is a dirt road with some low places.But pretty solid. A little water in some.But drivable without getting stuck. Just yesterday I seen a rollback come through easy.The lady driver stopped about fifty yards before my drive. I kept motioning for her to come on.She set there for like twenty minuts.I'm standing there with a badly injured leg .I call the office. The lady there says the driver is refusing to drive to my yard because of fear of getting stuck.I tell the lady the holes aren't deep, its not soft. It's full of cement.The driver still refuses.Then she backs up into my neighbors yard. She sets there. I walked down there. The blond rolls down window and started talking 90 miles an hour. I say,hun..Please just listen. I know this road. I promise sweety,you won't get stuck. She still refuses and acts like she's gonna leave with my truck.Now my patients are thinning.I'm hurting.I call the office. The lady says the driver isn't gonna take it to my yard.She also said they were bringing the truck back and would have to wait tell the road was better.Thats when I lost all patents.I told the driver,hell no your not. Drop it right here. I payed to have it delivered to my place and you are refusing to deliver it. My place is right there.Thats my property,I need it and your not leaving with it. The bill is payed and you are not holding up your end of the agreement !She says,the bill isn't payed. I said, oh hell yes it is. I was standing there when my insurance agent agreed to it ,plus the hundred and fifty I payed.She got all cocky and rolled the window up.I stood there waiting for my truck to be unloaded in someone else's yard. Not knowing how to get it to mine..After about five minuts she got out running her mouth threatening to leave with it.I dial 911. She shut up.Then while she unloaded it,she in a smart attitude said,I bet your not gonna sign the delivery paper too.I told,her, yes,ill sign it because unlike you I try to do what's right.She dropped the truck. I went checking my truck waiting to sign. She got in the tow truck and left.Now I'm hurting bad. My BP is up ,I can barley walk and don't know how ill get my truck out of these peoples yard into mine.After about an hour of talking to people. We were able to drag it into my yard..It is now seven o'clock and my BP is still up. I'm still hurting and mad at how wrong they done me.I gave one star,just for them waving the storage fee. But after how they ended up doing me.they don't deserve that !I will never agree for them to tow me again. I didn't this time. I'm just saying.If I ever need a tow. I will say,anyone except Bay City Towing..They screwed me 3 different ways. Got me upset,put me through pain and labor I payed them to do. No more.I recommend everyone to avoid Bay City Towing. Just refuse it..

We broke down just west of of Grand Bay and our insurance company called Bay City Paint and Body to give us a tow. Didn't catch the driver's name, but he was great, on time and took care of my truck while loading/unloading. I'd recommend them again for towing assistance.

Would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The lady who worked at the front desk was very unprofessional. They charged us $630 to get a vehicle that was at there lot for 4 days. She told us not to worry what the charges were for and to just sign the f'ing paper. I am not an idiot and do not just sign things for the fun of it. She then pointed her finger in my mother's face and told her she was about to get an attitude if she does not sign it. (like we were scared). anyways, the cops were called and we were told to turn them over to the better business bureau because this isn't there first complaint on them. We are doing that now. Because it was suppose to only be $180 for tow plus 20$ a day. They messed with the wrong ones to think we would let this go They also had all the personal items in the office which had missing items. (I guess they dug through our vehicle). The lady told me to exit the office and told a man to grab me and get me out (which didn't happen bc he was confronted very quick like). But, the point of the story is to not use these folks. They will rip you off. Hopefully soon they won't even be in business The lady in the office was very mad that we had already talked to an officer who had taken there name off there towing list & also turned them over to be investigated Don't use these people if you are smart

The tow truck driver James was fantastic! He went out of his way to provide an exceptional and professional experience. I was 100% pleased with the service I received and highly recommend this company!

I was stuck at the light car over heated ended up jumping time and a tow truck driver named james stopped and helped me get to mcdonald's. From there he helped me figure out the issue of the car and car still wouldn't start. James didn't have to stop and help us but he took the time and did it anyway and I appreciate his service thanks to him we are getting a tow home and I couldnt be happier glad it was him who stopped. Thank you bay city for hiring a good tow truck driver and thank you James for helping me and my dad out your awesome!!!!

These people are simply Ahhhmazing!!! They changed our oil in our Motorhome and the Generator, did some repair on our generator (sensor, belt, etc) and worked on the mechanism for the step to the motorhome. Most important, they told us everything they were doing, as they did it. When we got there Ron and several of the guys came right out of the shop and jumped right on all the issues immediately. They hooked us up to shore power and let us stay in their parking lot overnight. ***Most importantly they simply treated us like family***. We would like to recommend them to anybody passing through the Mobile area. They also worked with our warranty company to make the process seamless. We wouldn't hesitate to come back here for anything we need.

I was far from home and found myself with no A/C or battery power. They diagnosed and fixed it while I waited to get me back on the road. I am so thankful for their kindness and expertise. Everyone there was so nice and helpful!

Went to bay city paint an body to have a partial j skirt fabricated and painted, the estimate given to me was $200-$250. Three days later was informed the part was ready, got there and the it started, the cost was now no longer as per the estimate $200-$250 but now to my surprise $881.60.after about 20 minutes of compIaining got the price down to $681.60. Will never go back again and they should not expect any positive reccomendations on my part. Never trust any estimates given to you by these people

These people are criminals. Car was towed by them, charged me $300 for administrative fees , the ladies reasoning was that she had to do some paperwork for the car? (Assuming she makes 10$ an hour, you mean to tell me it took 30 hours of her time to fill out some paperwork???) not to mention charging me $27.50 to pay with a credit card. Ide give them 0 stars if I could.

Used Bay City through my roadside assistance and they were very helpful getting my car to the dealership. They showed up exactly at the time promised by roadside. Would definitely call them first next time I need a tow.

I had to get a fan motor for my air conditioner and it was very difficult finding the right one because the parts were not updated. But they were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your service. I am cool once again.

I called 18 places, most were "cool cat" sellers. Ha ha. Most said they didn't work on them. These guys were 100% wonderful. We are back on the road.

This is the outfit that is in the hip-pockets of the corrupt University of South Alabama police to tow unwitting students' cars, far away to another city, as they are made to pay hundreds of dollars for the unprovoked theft of property.
