I would give 0 stars if i could. Stay far far away from this place. They charge you 100$ for a late fee! On a 30$ storage they charge 100$ to be late. Also, we were to get a free month that never happened either. They also sold our unit without proper notification. I go and try and pay the unit to only find They sold our stuff!!!!! Never recieved a single email about auction. They claim they sent a letter, but never actually recieved one. No email, no letter, no call, just criminals! The whole lot is criminals!!!!

The unit was fine. Accessibility was easy and good. Every single month our payment has auto drafted and this has not failed once. But we moved into our new house and got our stuff out of the unit. I called and left a voicemail letting them know we got our stuff out and to begin the process of ending our account with them. I get a text this morning saying they noticed the unit was vacated without a proper notice and they ll be sending our account to collections???? No missed payment on our end. No argument against a 30 day notice/saying we won t pay for the final month. No removing the card on file. Nothing to warrant any level of a threat of collections LESS THAN A WEEK after we got our stuff out of there.

On February 15, 2024 I went to check on my property at Midguard Storage. I found the lock cut off my trailer, and vandalism to my trailer door and all of my stuff had been rummaged through and some very expensive hunting, camping, fishing gear had all been stolen. I reported it to the front desk which is now an iPad attached to a television on the wall and you talk to some person via teleconference. They said they sent some email to their insurance company and they emailed me and basically said your SoL there is nothing we can do and we won t fix, reimburse, or do anything at all. Better luck next time. On top of that I have to give them a 39 day notice that we will vacate the storage facility or they will put us in collections for not giving them 30 day notice even though no payments were ever missed and all payments have been auto processed by them.DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY!!!They do not care about your belongings and they are obviously not secure. No one is even on premises to deter theft or vandalism.

Best storage facility in the area, hands down. I have an outdoor vehicle parking spot, as well as a 10x15 storage unit. This is a brand new facility, very nice, very clean, cameras everywhere you look, perfect location off of I-65, couldnt be better.

Blackbox self storage is an amazing facility. Great management, works with you to take care of your needs. Renting and move in are simple because Jesse does whatever it takes to accommodate your move in or out. The facility is clean and well lit. The security both video and individually alarmed units allow you peace of mind. 24 hour access as well as many great occupants make it an awesome experience. It s the only storage I ve ever used that has a light switch rather than a timer, also has an outlet in the unit and access to water nearby. I just can t say enough about this business. They treat you as friends and help in any way possible. I ll certainly use them again if needed and tell everyone about them. Thanks so much Jesse.

Dallas was the representative that helped me. She was very kind, she was smiling and very helpful. She didn t have what I needed so she helped me find what I needed and reserved it for me. She even called around to find the truck that I needed. She was funny and pleasure to work with. Thank you for having someone like Dallas there at your service counter.

Be sure to get all the amounts you will be charged up front, mine went from $51 a month to over $90, also don't expect a paper receipt, eventhough this is normally expected when you are renting from someone, I do appreciate the electronic copy. Also the crampness (at least where my unit is, had only a few inches on each side to back a small uhaul truck into) of the site is also little aggravating. The staff was very nice and helpful, thank you Dalis.For a 10�10 that is hard to get to. Also a car was blocking the other end, WHY?FIRST MONTH $51ADMIN FEE $30INSURANCE $9.50Would I recommend? Yes but at least now you know!

Everything was good at first until they decided to raise their prices twice on us causing us to pay way more than the advertised amount for a unit. Citing that they're cost of operating and "increased security" was the reasons for the price increases when the only security update we have seen was them repairing their broken gate. Also, even if you pay your rent every month on time, there's still the likelihood that the keypad will tell you to see a manager and will deny you access to the property. Don't bother calling the lady in the phone either, she is useless. She will just tell you that their system is updating all hours of the day and she can't tell you anything but will relay your message to a manager who may or may not be coming in that day.

Price just keeps going up!Less the a year we started at $145. Mudguard buy them from Blackbox and it goes up to $169. Later Add $9.50 for insurance and another rate hike to $189 + insurance totaling $198.No longer open 24 hours a day without charging you another $10!

If I could give a lower review I would. I moved away from MidGard to Black Box, then Jess sold Black Box to Midgard. They repainted immediately then raised our rates. Place was basically brand new and didn t need repainting. Midgard makes you work to stay there. Every year they raise rates, ask for insurance proof every year. Recently (last month) they sent out notice for insurance coverage. I called and told them that I ve had the same homeowners insurance for 20 years which covers storage unit items. They said ok. This month they charged me 9.50 per unit. I called and the clerk told me they had no record of me calling, basically called me a liar ! She also told me they would not refund my 19.00 because I didn t respond. Would not give me the corporate office phone number to complain. Bad business !!!Sorry business !

Great people who are very friendly and helpful in understanding and answering/recommending your needs. Facility is clean , secure, and easy to maneuver larger trucks and trailers around.

The staff is clueless.does not listen.raises rates without notice.just so everyone knows you have to give a 30 day notice before moving out or they keep charging you.i gave a 30 day notice the clerk did not note it and when I moved out midguard still trying to charge for another 30 days.i would not recommend this business.

We rented a climate controlled unit for right at a year after we sold our house. The owner is super friendly, but the security and cleanliness is what won me over!! The automatic security that each unit has with the main gait relieved my fears of anyone breaking into our unit. It s very well lit, so anytime I needed to go in the evenings I had absolutely no worries! Would certainly recommend this for all your storage needs!!

The owner is really nice! He cares about the people who rent units from him! He is easy to get in contact with! We loved the fact that it was a coded gate but also that we could access our unit 24/7! They also have VERY MANY sizes to choose from including tempered units and parking spots and boat storage. If you need a storage unit of ANY kind, check them out!

This company is a joke. I have had the same storage unit for many years. The previous owner never raised the rate. Now that midgard owns it they have raised the rate twice. They will continue to raise the rates until people don't want to pay them.

Best storage unit in this area!! Jessie (owner) is so kind and professional and does a great job maintaining the facility. He made the whole process of moving in/out so smooth and my whole experience overall was amazing. Highly recommend!!

Unbelievable facility and family atmosphere! This is the most first class storage facility We have ever been too. The security, fencing and automated gating makes us no without a doubt that this place is super safe! Thanks for always being so welcoming and helpful when we stop in!

The owner Jesse Matson is so nice he waited on us after hours to come look and see what we needed took his time to show us what he had and then rented us what we needed in stead of just trying to make a sale and not carrying. These storage buildings have security if you dont get your unit closed good it send a signal, we loved that fact.

Constant calls and emails over being late.Reminding someone they need to pay you does not automatically mean they can pay you. Maybe they had to choose electricity and water over storage. Relentless calls and emails from you will not put money in their bank to pay you with. They are probably painfully aware of the problem already and making them more aware won't make you any money. It is shameful and embarrassing. It is bordering on harassment. It helps no one.
