I'm only giving a one star because it is required...they don't even deserve that. Just because you go online and reserve a car and have a confirmation number, doesn't mean you actually have a car reserved! This happened to us today. Apparently it will let you reserve a car and make you think you have a car but once you get there...you don't actually have a car. This is not the first time this has happened to us. We ended up going to the Birmingham Airport and renting from National with no problems. This place is a joke!!! Don't even waste your time here, just skip this place and go somewhere else because chances are, they won't have the car you reserved!

Do NOT recommend!!! I reserved a mini van (and received confirmation for a mini van) 5 days before I needed it to take me to the airport for a flight. Enterprise Sylacauga called me at 5:30pm the night before I was supposed to pick it up to drive to the airport to tell me they did not have a mini van. They left me scrambling the night before my flight trying to figure out how I would get to the airport with my luggage. Absolutely HORRIBLE business!!!!!!

My truck got stolen, and Allstate sent me there to get my rental, Allstate paid $40 per day, so I figured I would be getting some little compact car right. Boy, was I fooled, I got a full-size Toyota avalon Special edition. I might be having to go buy one because the wife fell in love with it. I told her no, that was getting another truck, then I got THAT LOOK, you guys know the look I'm talking about. But the people working there are some of the nicest people you can ask for, and fast too, I mean from start to finish, I bet we wasn't there 30 minutes, I highly recommend this place

The manager went above and beyond to help us, was super understanding and so helpful. Will definitely be using them again, specifically at the Columbiana Road, Hoover Al. Location. I can't say enough good things about them.

This location definitely has problems not my choice but the insurance company's choice for car while mine was being repaired 20 seconds into the initial phone call I realized this is not a place I want to do business with I shared the details with the corporate management team. Then after checking the reviews here it's nice to know that my Spidey Sense was validated. Thanks but no thanks I'll make other arrangements. Hope this place gets it's act together. Life is way too short to deal with this kind of rubbish.

I reserved a car there at 4:30 and usually if you reserve a car they should have cause what s the point in reserving if they won t have it. The lady told me they won t know if they ll have one or not. That s your job to know if y all will or not. Don t waste your time go to U-Save they are so much nicer and cheaper

They charged me extra for an extension that was supposed to be paid for through my insurance. They did not mention any of the extra charges beforehand, the charges weren't mentioned until after I returned the vehicle. They had supposed to been emailing me after I left the premises from returning the vehicle with statements of what prices were added and I never did receive the email so they pretty much just got over and beat me out of my money with no explanation whatsoever.

I had the worst experience with the Enterprise location in Sylacauga, AL. I waited 25 minutes (yes 25 minutes) while the branch manager talked and laughed with a friend in the parking lot. Then when she did come in, she was rude and impatient.

Call them to reserve a small pickup truck. I was scheduled to pick it up at 9 AM. Could not make it until 3 PM. When I arrived they did not have a truck for me. They only had a small compact car. Try to sell me that but that obviously was not going to work when I needed a small pickup. They did not bother to call me and let me know the pick up was not available. Enterprise used to be my favorite rental company. However after this incident I will never go to enterprise for another rental car

Started off as an ok experience. Now I'm having to jump through hoops to reverse toll fees. One person says tolls for Cali, one says it was tolls for Florida. I never left my little town in Alabama. Think you can just call enterprise to get them to take it off, nope. Have to call the toll administration yourself if you can figure out which one.

It was cold outside. I think they need to find a way to get there customers out of the cold. Love the truck I rented. RA# 1Z11ZD my rental agreement I picked up my rental on the7 and it be return on the 9 I set this up far 2 weeks .The walk around was done so fast I did not see everything it says it has a cracked taillights.It has at least 3 places where on the truck the paint has been damaged not bad but it's there.This was my first time to ever rent a vehicle and it was very cold and I feel like I was given the rush job. When I cut in the truck the air conditioning was running wide open. It took me a few minutes to find everything no one helped with the inside and it is a lot different than my truck. I still have not found out if it has heated seats. My charges say Time and Distance charges a 120.00 dollars I don't understand this and was not told about it when I made the appointment. I think they need to slow down and ask a few questions like have you ever rented a vehicle and let me walk you threw this. I'm not saying I would not rent from you again I'm just saying it could have been handled better

I called at 8 am to try and arrange to be picked up at the body shop I just dropped my car at and was told they only go 10minutes for pickups so Ok I figure out how to get to the rental company to find out they dont have the car I reserved and I have to pay a N additional 300.00 security deposit also online the price it said i had to pay was 238.00 that jumped to 341.00 plus the 300 deposit. After all this I had them my debit card and am informed I cant use it because it is a prepaid card? My paycheck goes direct deposit to that card just like any other bank but it wasnt good enough I asked if I could just pay cash no so I ended up with nothing a 2 hr trip wasted and still no way to go. Thanks enterprise

System needs to be manage better. I booked a reservation two months ahead just to find out the location (Sylacauga branch 9am 9/5/20) I should have picked up at was closed and all the surrounding areas were either closed or doesn t have any vehicles. I should have been contacted way before the day I supposed to leave for a trip. It s no excuses for this especially when you are dealing with a big company like Enterprise.

I picked up a car 1 July at 3 PM call to pick up early just to help them out because I know you ll be busy the next day on Friday . The gentleman did the walk around the car had a Florida tag which most of them in the parking lot I think then but that s not relevant, the 2018 Toyota Camry that I was put into the headliner looks like somebody had either worked on an engine and touch the visor and who knows what else, I ended up on the phone with roadside and customer service and betweenWhen I noticed one issue with right front passenger tire as I was at a rest stop walking in front to go around to get one out of a car seat, I don t know why it caught my eye but it did this is something that should have been notated when the detailer was checking for these things, tires need to be checked but it just seems to me that this location just brings around vacuumed them out washing them up quick quick and gets them out sometimes are better than others sometimes they are not and they are horrible there was nothing I could do at the time as I was halfway onto my trip ended up switching my car simple easy fix when I got to my location they noted another one and even told them because everybody that had came out to greet me at my parents home has mention the fact that the cigarette smell was so strong I do not smoke nobody in my family smokes the whole entire trip I had to smell that what children in the car, my issue is I hope that somebody does see this because I would like to talk to somebody about this there s several issues with this location and they re always has been. Example is no dropbox 98% and that s just guessing of enterprise locations have dropbox is why we do not I have no idea but that s OK second is sometimes customer service and there is hit or miss and it can t be that way I don t know some people are just having a bad day or what the deal is but I ve already had issuesWith one of them in there a while back and believe I spoke to somebody about this person.This location needs just revamping because if at all possible could rent from the Inverness Alabama location I must definitely would the detailing needs to be a little bit better I mean I don t rent junk Sylacauga hast to do better than that come on now I will be asking to the location that I drop the other car off at to email me pictures of the inside it was horribleBut I will leave a picture the best I can of the tire that I took they noted another one on there that I did not seeI rent often and I hope the next time that I rent I hope I get bumped up because I m really tired of having these encounters with this location, Stop getting junk even if there is a shortage Inverness has a whole slew of cars move them from location to location whatever needs to happenPlease check tires and other things I ll let a bit better

The staff of this Enterprise location made my experience very pleasant. They are courteous, helpful, and very organized. I was able to reserve the car online, and the whole process when I went to pick up the car went quickly and easily. I will definitely be a return customer. Thanks Enterprise!

Last time i got a rental car from this place it needed a oil change and they gave me the rental knowing it needed one so i had to add some oil to it to get by smh so crazy. Now this time a guy name BRAD said I would have a rental car since i made a reservation. He told me to come down the next day to get it so i'm like okay . I drive down there and NO i don't live in their city maybe 30miles away to pick up the car and they don't have it. I made a reservation why do I not have a car .

I was trying to book online, wasn t able to finish transaction. It kept putting me to a car, when I m trying to rent a truck. I called, waiting 8 minutes and 42 seconds only for THE RUDEST LADY to get on the phone with me. She wasn t helpful. She has a Very smart mouth and Very BAD ATTITUDE. I ll never even call you guys again! With attitudes like that, I m shocked you have Buisness!

Had small chip in windshield which wasn't noticable freshly washed and wet noticed heading home. Should of taken picture and sent. Hi ad a day of hard frost turned on defroster the chip cracked. Now our insurance has to lay for their chip $500 deductible on us.they can stand before Jesus on there dishonesty if we had done it we would be honest. The lady got in a shouting match with my husband.She is fake as them nails and then eyelashes.

Worst place in Alabama. An insurance company reserved a vehicle for us at Sylacauga enterprise and along with a host of other issues 3 days in to the ordeal and we still don't have a car and they say they can't get us one because the only other enterprise they work with don't have any vehicles. What's the point in a reservation if they don't have a vehicle to give you.

I will say that the new lady at the Sylacauga store is amazing she went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and that we were happy even though the first car we go was tore up she went above and beyond to help us get a working vehicle and the man who came in after us was having problems but she was just as courteous to him and he wasn't being very friendly at all

my wife called 10 minutes before close, and was told that they were closed. my wife really needed a car and enterprise was the only one opened. the employee came back and said that she already closed up and was leaving to attend a sick child. really sounds like she just wanted to leave early! horrible customer service. bad attitudes also

We have used Enterprise for years, when needed. We rented a Toyota that got Super Gas Mileage! Loved that! And we appreciated that the car didn't reek of cigarettes like the last time we rented from them. But, it was out of windshield wiper fluid and the windshield wasn't clear on the inside which made it hard to see out of when the windshield fogged up.

Great customer service. We were an hour into our trip and a car hit ours. We were treated well and got a good rental in a quick and easy manner and continued to our destination.

I've literally given up on putting my car in the shop. They are unreliable, rude, unprofessional, confused about prices, only accept one form of payment which has to have a chip. I'll never be back to enterprise I'd rather rent a u-haul then rent from them. Tried to give me a lemon with Popping axels.

Worst rental I've ever experienced. I knew that compact means your getting a smaller vehicle without all the upgraded bells and whistles. But what I did not know was compact also meant that theirs a possibility of no cruise control. I had to drive over one thousand miles without a cruise control

This place is so awesome great attitudes all smiles and just always a warm welcome..and the car washers always do a great job making the cars like new after they clean them..i give two thumbs up
