Carl & I had a blowout on the tensaw River bridge few miles from Dolly pardon bridge I 65. NO ONE would Help Us. Soo we were stranded. We finally got this company to help. Soo glad it didn t happen at night. They were quick & helpful. Highly recommend!

You never want to be in a situation where you need your car towed.....but unfortunately it happens. Numerous times I've used Pitts and Sons, and everyone has been so helpful. The dispatchers are polite and as helpful as possible. Every driver I've ever had have been so kind, friendly, and easygoing. I'm often really stressed out, knowing my car was not running, and the guys being so sweet and helpful makes a high anxiety situation so much more bearable. Fantastic service in all ways.

Are you kidding me? We called for a tow to take us from Mobile to Biloxi and were told they'd send someone right away. An hour later we called to check on the status and they said someone had left 15 minutes before I called and would be arriving momentarily. 30 minutes later I called and they said it would be any second. 30 minutes later I called back and they said they didn't have my contact information and so they cancelled the tow. (Despite my having given my information and calling back multiple times.) This left myself and my son, who had just left a hospital, stranded for two hours before Tony's Towing came to get us. Just awful. Awful. Awful. Awful.

If I could give zero stars I would!My husband and two baby sons were in a terrible accident where our car was totaled. We had personal belongings and work related items that we needed to get out of that car. Pitts and Sons has no central office or impound supervisor available to contact outside of normal business hours so we get to just pay this business to hold our possessions hostage over a long weekend! The accident happened at 3 p.m. on a Friday and we were in the emergency room until midnight. I couldn't have gotten there any sooner! This is ridiculous! There should be someone available to let people process their own belongings! Accidents don't wait for normal business hours!! We have keys to our house in that car and I don't feel comfortable leaving it for strangers to get to!

They are absolute ANGELS! We were in a very dangerous situation tonight and they truly cared about our safety! They came very quickly to make sure we were not struck by oncoming traffic ! They were more attentive to us than the PD! God bless the Dispatcher and Driver of this company. We are truly thankful to you both!

Fantastic people. My friends had a blowout last night, they called roadside and told them they were not in a good area and were without heat in 37* weather so please hurry in finding a tow. Roadside ended up having 2 tow companies cancel, with the second one saying it would be 6am before they could get to them-roadside with OnStar sucks horribly. Finally Pitts and Sons was contacted and I was notified they were being sent out but it would be an hour or 2. So I called Pitts directly and told them of my friends situation and they bumped them to the head of the line and were out in 20 minutes. The dispatcher was extremely concerned with my friends having been sitting on the side of the road in the freezing cold for 4 hours because their roadside didn't seem to care about expediting. They stopped all other calls to help my friends first because it was a life and death situation. I am highly impressed with these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

As far as a tow yard, just as any other. Lady at the front desk was nice and very professional. The drivers though ya might not want to leave anything in the car if you can help it. Lost a Chromebook, kinda liked it. I could be wrong but if the driver didn't help himself, then it definitely was the police. Toss up on that one

This place is the epitome of what's good about Mom & Pop shops!! These people have got to be some of the kindest, caring, generous people left in this country. The older gentlemen, Darryl maybe, went way above and beyond to ensure excellent service. We were terrible customers, too. We must have called 10 times asking dumb questions, rescheduling, and every single time he was as patient and kind as the day was long. There is just something about Southern Charm and Pitts & Sons takes the blue ribbon for sure, imo!After all that back and forth for days, I thought sure we were gonna get a PIA FEE (pain in the x) for all the trouble, but the tow was only $150, and it was towed 50 miles. I was shocked and ever so grateful. He didn't even charge us for storage due to our circumstances. But they did make us show every bit of proof of ownership, a valid state photo ID that he checked for legitimacy, so don't mistake his kindness for being a pushover, he's thorough, kind, and that place is highly secure!Farthest thing from the Pitts.

Great Company, from Dispatcher to Driver of wrecker. I didn't catch her name, but the driver was Chris Boswell. He had to do a few trips, but he got it on the truck.

Great towing company. Good experience not like most of the other towing companies that are in the bussiness just to destroy all the trucking companies by overcharging everybody. Thank you for your bussiness.

Had a problem outside of their job description but the Human Resources guy named Scott I believe was beyond helpful and got everything handled, I ve also used these guys for hundreds of towing jobs, they ve always been top notch.

We had Pitts and Sons come out to tow our car and the service we received was amazing! The tow truck driver Arron went above and beyond to make sure the car didn t get damaged cause we have a low profile car, he even came back when he got off work to take us to the store cause we were stranded. He is really good at what he does and cares about his customers! He deserves a raise!Service: Car towing

Service excellence beyond measure! The highest recommendation from a client for life! Prompt response time, excellent work quality, and adept ability to overcome obstacles were impressive! Among all the service providers, Pitts & Sons was the only willing service provider, able to winch out my stuck vehicle. Local rain levels in Mobile, AL had saturated soil to such a degree that other service providers were unable to assist. Pitts & Sons got the ball rolling right away... From the time my insurance provider was contacted, to the time of recovery, was under an hour! Impressive to say the least. My vehicle needed to be winched out, and Pitts and Sons delivered! I can t say enough about how professional and helpful these guys were. they got my daughter home safely @ 2am in the morning after she had a blow out in a rural area. Myself and her mom were out of town on vacation and was very stressful situation. They took very good care of her and her car and the price was very reasonable. THANK YOU!!! I drove my Toyota 4-Runner onto a cement bulkhead at the Alabama Dept. Of Marine Resources, nearly going into 9+ feet of bay water! $h!t....Called the closest tow company, they come out but could not handle this difficult situation (4-Runner had to be lifted into the air to clear the bulkhead). Their Dispatch man, Tim, worked to make the fastest and best recovery happen. If your $h!t is really jacked up as mine was, ask for John H. to be your guy!!! Miracle worker!!!! I was nauseated watching my car teetering on the verge of a total loss... John saved us from total misery and loss. Mission accomplished and my family and I get to drive back to Texas in our own car. Their PRICES are great. They did NOT screw me over even though they could have. PLEASE MAKE THEM YOUR 1st call when you need help!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Ms. Jesse who took my call went above and beyond to help me. I called several places and was hung up on and quoted crazy prices over $200. Ms. Jesse made sure she helped me get our car and calmed me down because after being hung up on by several different companies i was about to loose it! Then when Mr. James showed up with our car he was so understanding. Very polite and took time to explain how he was able to get our car without the keys and without causing any damage. These days people don't care about customer service but these two do. This company does! They put our mind at ease. We had no doubt that our car was in good hands. I wish more people took the time to care like these two did. I recommend them to anyone who needs help with a tow that is trustworthy and treats your vehicle as if its thiers. THANK Y'all SO MUCH! Hopefully we wont need you anytime soon, but if we do...You will be our first and only call.Service: Car towing

I had my truck towed in by pitts and sons on 7/12/23 a tow company that Jeff referred me to, my truck needed a new discharge line when I returned to pick my truck up on 7/17/23 i had lights on the dash and issue with my truck that I didn't have so I took it back to service and it was found that I had frame damage from being towed that tilted my axle I spoke with Scott from pitts and sons and Robert with rush truck center and they informed me they would inspect to see what caused the damaged neither rush truck center or pitts and son took responsibility for the damages even though they both were the ones that moved my truck and I didn't have these issues before they claimed it being a old truck caused the damage when I literally have a 2019 Peterbilt which is only 4 years old. so I had to pay and additional $1300 on top of the $1,000 tow bill and$1800 service bill for the discharge line to get the damaged one of them caused fixed and ended up not getting my truck back until today which is 7/21/23 and once I returned home now the rear Ac to my sleeper is not working which is another problem that I did not have. I spent over $3,000 with them just to receive my truck back with Issues that i know for a fact that it did not have before and they do not take responsibility for the issues they caused. It was my first time ever taking my truck there to be serviced and I will never take my truck back ever again. Absolutely worse experience ever.

Your drivers should learn how to take one side of the street instead of blowing the horn because he thinks he needs both sides!!!! Especially with it being late at night and he has his lights on high beam coming out of an apartment complex !

Great service. Great pricing. Charged me 89$ to tow my car that broke down due to a recall, when ford was going to charge me 197$ plus mileage. Didn t have to pay up front let me pay the dealership for the tow. Very helpful and knowledgeable guy. 10/10Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Very courteous during both phone and in-person contacts. Allowed me to collect my personal belongings from my car inside the impound yard without hassle or delay. I highly recommend them!
