I ve had to get body repairs to my car 2 separate times. The first time, Cockrell s in Robertsdale was a random choice because we didn t know where else to send it. The second time, it was our first choice with no hesitation because they did such a phenomenal job the first time. They communicated time frames and estimates/quotes well and were very upfront and honest about the process and possible changes to the price. Incredibly kind and professional from the office personnel to the shop staff. I even called them to have a windshield repair done for my father and they gave me the contact information for someone they trust to do great quality work since they didn t specifically do that work. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing repairs from a body shop!

I had brought my 2011 and 2023 Camry into the shop for repairs and I can not express enough what a great job they did. They were very professional, friendly, and answered any questions I had.I was taken care of in a timely manner, which was much appreciated. I could not be more appreciative than I am to Cockrell s Body Shop! I have been updated daily with the progress of my car. Everyone has been very polite and very informative of all my questions whether about insurance or anything I did not understand, I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle fixed! Well worth the drive for great service and timely manner to get your vehicle repaired.

I've had to use them twice for two unfortunate accidents repairs. They are the nicest, most honest people I've met. They give fair estimates, worked with my insurance, and communicated with me often throughout the whole process. Definitely 10/10.

I had my 2021 Kia Soul dropped off the night of Jan. 6 2023 after hitting a deer and received it back May 3rd 2023. I was called 3 weeks ago and told that it was ready. When I arrived, I found trash in the paint and 11 more defects to include broken parts, deer hair under the hood, unreplaced damaged and misaligned parts, dents, and chips in the paint. Three weeks later, my driver front fender is still not aligned correctly, trash still in the left front fender paint that I pointed out three weeks ago. I cannot put it all on them though, my first two adjusters from Progressive Insurance did not do a good job either. The young lady behind the desk was pleasant and the shop manager was kind and agreeable. I have spoke to the owner, he seemed very concerned that I had so many struggles at his shop, apologized, as well as assured me that the warranty was genuine for the work completed. I have been satisfied with the work completed and trust the work and craftsmanship guarantee will be upheld. If I had a suggestion, there should be a quality inspection of work performed by a quality assurance manager prior to notifying customers.

Cockrell's blew a fuse in my vehicle, denied it, and costed me an extra $180 to have the blown fuse replaced. This is after the owner told me all fuses were fine. If this post will help just one person from becoming a victim, it will be worth it. Don't trust Cockrell's.

Cockrell's Body Shop is awesome! My RAV4 had some major damage after a hail storm and it looked amazing when I got it back. They finished faster that I expected and the office staff was very competent and friendly!

Below average repairs several issues to include painted surfaces not matching OEM color, fastners not fitted correctly causing them to come loose and fall out, additional damage caused during repair, a lack of attention to detail that meant the vehicle wasn't ready. But it was ready according to their low standards, would not recommend.

Chris and Deanna are the most helpful I have meet. My car suffered a front end collision and they came and picked it up. They did a detailed inspection and estimate walked me through the process. They are life saver. They kept informed each step and explained to me what it ment for me. Cockrell's personell took my auto for an alignment to Sweat Tire in Robertsdale, and brought it back with a different tire and no sensor, which it had prior to leaving it at this shop, and they refused to pay for this mistake, and reffered me back to the tire shop, which sent me back to this body shop, practically like a bouncy ball.In the end no one was responsible, I had to pay for the damages. Additionally, the paint this body shop used was too dark and did not match the original parts of my car, I got a second opinion and they told me the color match was not made correctly. Also, the bumpers were not clipped correctly, so there is front and back gaps on the bumpers. This shop benefits from the insurances paying, and they charge quite alot for their work, you would assume that they would at least do a decent looking job. When i mentioned this to them,they stated they have life warranty, brink it back if the bumpers sag more, frankly I dont intend to use it, I dont trust them! I do not recommend this place.

We took our dodge ram 2500 to Michael Hawthorne at Cockrell's in Robertsdale and were greeted with professionalism and complete confidence in the body work that needed to be done. The original time frame was estimated to take 3 weeks but our truck was completed in less than two weeks. You would never be able to tell there was any damage whatsoever. They kept us informed of progress as the work took place and managed every step with the insurance company. Hopefully we won't need body work any time soon but if we do, we will definitely be going back to see Michael at Cockrell's Body Shop in Robertsdale, AL.

We had a freak accident and were struck by lightning while driving home from the beach. Cockrell's Body Shop towed our truck and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. Their entire staff was so kind to us. They stayed after hours while we waited to get a rental car. They offered to drive us to our hotel and get us food. Just all around great people! Highly recommend!

These guys are the bomb didn't even take a week after I dropped my truck off and can't even tell I had a dent in my door thanks guys. Definitely recommend them

I took my car here and told them i hit a deer and all they fixed was my bumper. Left the broken pieces of my headlight just sitting in it and my windshield wiper container!! Which we told them was broken.

10 out of 10! 5 stars all the way! Words cannot express how happy I am with the work that Kristopher Frederick and his team did on my white Hyundai Genesis. I purchased the car used and the rocker panel under the passenger door was terribly scratched, gouged is more like it, and the clear coat on both bumpers was fading and peeling. It was bad! Now my car looks new! They replaced the front bumper, painted the back bumper and the rocker panel is perfect! I can t believe it s the same car! The entire staff was friendly and courteous. Mr. Frederick gave us an estimate that was fair and reasonable. I will use them again if I ever need paint and repairs in the future.Service: Painting

I was rear ended, and they were able to get me in that afternoon for an estimate. Bruce and Lauren were friendly, personable, and efficient. They got back to me when they said they would, and my car was repaired quickly, which is saying a lot with all the hail damage repairs being done at the moment. They also gave me an estimate for my hail repairs which was much more reasonable than any other body shop or PDR place around. Would definitely use them again.Service: Body & Trim

Top notch job on fixing my Jeep gladiator! I was worried when a job that I originally thought could be repaired paintless had to be filled and painted. I have a background in the auto industry and have prided myself on spotting prior paint work. After they finished I was not able to tell at all! Fantastic finish and they even cleaned it inside and out. It was like picking up a new vehicle.Service: Body & Trim

Only issue I have that is within the shop's control is lack of proactive communication on their part. Got great info when I called in or stopped by, but feel like there should be an app to track progress with photos updated every day or three, or at least have them email/text me twice weekly with updates and photos of the repair progress on my vehicle. The issue I have not within their control is the more than one month it took to repair front bumper and one quarter panel. But I know that's 99% due to Covid and economy caused supply chain interruptions and labor shortages. Overall, I would give my experience (I was at the Robertsdale location) a 7 out of 10 because of the actual body work performed was top notch.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

Really amazing service and the car looks as good as new.Update: unfortunately I have had to come back to Cockrell s. You know it is always something but they have done nothing but get better every time. They have a long term customer in me. I would recommend to anyone.

They have repaired a number of vehicles for me always on time and for the amount agreed on. This time they added a battery they couldn't explain and I had to wait longer because employees damaged hard to get parts and I had to wait for my car until they got replacement parts back in againService: PaintingService: Painting

I had a hit and run and took my car for repair. They did a super job and went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied. Excellent repairs. I will definitely return if I need body work and would highly recommend them.
