Had my check engine light come on and after a few days of driving it around in 3rd gear (limp mode) I finally brought it in. His scan showed up a failed throttle valve which ended up costing me $1300!! Yikes. I have the distinct feeling that the red Alabama dirt roads did that to me but who know, it's an older Honda Civic. He was very friendly about it all, sorry it cost so much, and the lady in the front was nice to talk to. I know I wasn't taken for a ride because when I got home to my local garage, he confirmed the cost and the need for it. So, not a fun experience exactly but I think he did right by me and was very caring about my car.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

There were helpful and great especially given I was traveling through states they came to the rescue and fit me in and I was able to continue my out of state driving. Prices okay but given the time and situation.

Not happy with our experience at all!This place is overpriced and unfair. We were told one price and when arrived payed much more than expecting!Their front office lady was incredibly unprofessional and rude.Bruce will let you drive a vehicle off the lot that is unsafe and illegal without addressing it with you!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great experience! Our older RV suddenly lost acceleration and could barely make it to 20mph. We thought we had blown the head gasket. B&D Automotive was nearby so we had the RV towed there after hours. The next morning he had the problem figured out very quickly. He had it fixed faster than we were expecting. It turned out to be less of an issue than we'd feared. He only fixed what needed fixing, at a fair price and explained everything to us so we knew what was fixed and why. He gave us a list of other maintenance that will need that be addressed in the near future. I would highly recommend them to a friend.

We were traveling with our Tiny House on wheels and had slow leaks on two tires of the house.Stopped by there, Bruce accepted to have a look and fix that right away.His wife and him were really kind. They gave us some tips on places to visit in New Orleans as we were heading there. Gave us good tips on how to take care of our truck as well.We are so thankful to have found that place.Strongly recommend that garage!

The team at B&D has maintained both of my vehicles for more than 2 years. The work is done right the first time and they don t waste my time or money. If I can get by without having something fixed right away, they tell me up front. That way I m only fixing what is important. Having two older vehicles, their honesty has saved me money. I highly recommend B& D Auto in Robertsdale.

Very nice, honest people. Was traveling through with our RV. Developed an issue. Brian was quick to check it out and inform us of our delemma. He did what he could and we are back on the road. Highly recommend if your in that area and in need of help.

Best automotive repair in Baldwin County. Honest, solid work and very trustworthy!! Bruce is the only mechanic that works on our diesel truck!!

Tina quoted me $150 to install new headlights and I was charged $217 when I showed up to pay for them. No one called to ask if I was ok with the nearly 150% markup, but no big deal; I paid the bill.I purchased new tail lights and was told by Tina I needed to make an appointment and wait two weeks. Again, no big deal, places get busy. I dropped the car off at 7:15am and was called by Tina at 2:30pm and told, "your car is ready". When I arrived, I see my car with half old tail lights and half new tail lights that look NOTHING alike. One set is chrome and one set is regular reflective lens from the factory. PROBLEM! The car looks like a circus freak.I was told the mechanic didn't have time to finish them and I would need to come back another day when he wasn't as busy. Why didn't anyone call to ask if I was ok with only half of the work being completed before starting the job? Ok, you can at least put the car back the way it was when I dropped it off, right? WRONG! They wanted to be paid $37.25 for messing my car up and leaving it that way. BEWARE before leaving your car here!Service: Body & Trim

Had a dash air problem with my motor home, got it fixed and the price was right on the money. They also brought another problem and recommended a place in Mobile, AL. that could attend to an alignment problem. Great service and price

They are scamming people I do not recommend they did not give me prices on things instead just said okay let's buy this part without asking the owner if this price fits their budget there in professional and tried to scam me out of my truck and 3600 dollars which they did get my truck. Outstanding service... They got me in on the Friday before Labor Day weekend and took GREAT care of me and my motorhome! Brenda was amazingly kind and helpful!! Bruce went above and beyond!!

The worst experience i had with a mechanic, bring my rv and i had an issue with the axle, everybody else was asking me $1000 for a new one, this guy told me he could fix for $300 after 3 weeks ...., that's right 3 weeks he called me and said the rv was ready and the cost was $987,40 i ask him why so high since i told him the other mechanics were charging $1000,00 for a new one, he came up with a bunch of excuses as usual and i paid what could i do. Well at least i was happy to be able to use the rv ...right?!..... noooo!!!He changed couple parts that did no need to be changed and the rv still had the exact same issue i came back and he came again with a bunch of excuses and saying ng to fix the issue he would have to replace the entire thing for $3400 ??? Why didn't you quote that in the first place?? Why did replace parts that any one with little mechanic acknowledge knows it's a waste of money?? Why? I could had fixed the entire thing with $1000 in 5 mechanics that i ask before and after this. I WILL NEVER COME BACK DON'T recommend to anyone.

We were on our way to Daytona from louisiana we lost breaks and had a failed sensor the owners were wonderful and kind the mechanic got us back on the road quick they were strait forward found the problem fast thanks for getting the Willis family back on the road!!! Steve highly recommends them!!
