The service I received from the Prattville, AL store was less than spectacular. I understand the store just changed management, but with the previous management the service was much better. I had an appointment for Sunday February 25, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. for an Oil Change. I was called later that day to tell me I had a possible oil leak or some type of leak. I was never called back after the call on Sunday. I called Monday at 2:00 and 5:00 and the store told me they had not looked at the car yet. I then called back on Tuesday at 10:48 a.m. and was told then they had looked at the car, but were waiting on a dealership to call them back with a quote for the now transmission leak. At 5:48 p.m. Tuesday, I still had not heard back from the store so I went and picked up my car. We took it to two different shops and found a small oil leak. So they were going to charge me for a transmission leak which was not even the issue.I have never had such lack of communication from a company like this before. I will never go back to this Pep Boys as they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. To top everything, when we picked up the car it was covered with oily finger prints all around the outside of the car and the dash board inside.

The process was fairly quick, but the service was not as advertised. I had brakes replaced. They were not scrubbing and there was brake padding still left. The tech refused to resurface rotors as advertised and cause the cost to DOUBLE as a result. I got the impression that the service advisor didn't want me there and even questioned whether to honor any part of the website promotion. I'm on the fence on whether I will go back or not.

Rod was very courteous, my vehicle service was taken care of. This was my first time having any vehicle served at a Pep Boys. I had a brake service done, I recommend Pep Boys.

Came in for an alignment and 4 tires put on that I had brand new. Waited over 5 hrs to get the work done. Was told that they put the tires on backwards so they had to take them off and remount back on the rim. This is in called for, they need to hire a new manager if that is the best they can do.

Very hospitable and they get to your car at a reasonable time frame. They took time to diagnose the problem with my daughter's SUV and made sure we understood the problem. They were also concerned about her safety driving the vehicle in its state. The experience was a blessing! I would refer them to my family and friends.

I highly recommend pep boys in Prattville! They were so helpful and kind towards me. I went to Alabama to visit my grandmother and my car broke down. I managed to drive it up to pep boys and they did a diagnostic. Come to find out it was something with the transmission. I went to go pay them and Jason refused to take a payment because there was nothing they could do due to problem being transmission related. They also let me leave my car there free of charge till the next day because my dad had to come pick up from Florida. My husband is currently offshore and I have three kids, two being toddlers. With mechanics some will try to take advantage of ladies that are alone not all but some, and definitely not this place. They did the exact opposite and showed true compassion. I am beyond appreciative. Thank you Pep boys for helping me out especially to Jason.

My husband and I knew we needed an oil change soon, but our car decided it should be right now by suddenly vibrating while driving. We dropped it off and Pep Boys was able to call us back the same day to tell us what was wrong (TWO tires out of round) and how we could fix it. They were able to talk with us to confirm what all we wanted done and provide a quote before doing the maintenance, which we really appreciated. They were able to get our car back to us the SAME Day! Thank you, Pep Boys!

This is THE ABSOLUTE worst customer service experience I have ever had!! I was referred to this facility by my limited car warranty provider and it was horrible!! I waited 6 hours initially for ONLY a diagnostic WITH an appointment! I was not a walk in. Then I was given another appointment to come back and waited another 4 hours for the "repairs". Which they couldn't even do them all so they referred me to the dealership. But Dan the front desk person did not follow through and send in the information to the warranty department so I was asked to pay for repairs. And all of this confusion was because Dan is horrible at his job. When I expressed frustration he kept calling me "rude lady" then he walked off!! Horrible customer service. I would suggest you find somewhere else to repair your car because this is not it!!!

I have no complaints at all about my recent visit to Pep Boys. I will take my car there over anywhere else. The service i received was excellent, everyone that i came in contact with were super nice. I also thought that the price was fair too. i will recommend Pep Boys to anyone.

While stuck at the fire department on Easter weekend my daughter's car tire got a leak. She went by there three times with my grandson in tow to be told they didn't have time to do it to come back each time and still never patched her tire. Treated like her business was not needed. If you don't want to do your job then go find another one. They will never get any of my business again and I will not ever recommend them.

Had a confirmed appointment for 8am this morning. Arrived and the shop was closed. The only person there was an employee in his Jeep that never even got out of his vehicle. I left 15 minutes after my confirmed appointment and took my business elsewhere.

The manager in the Prattville store is very professional, the best customer service I have seen.Managers name is Dan. I will definitely be returning to this Store as long as Dan is at this location.

Even though we received bad news on our vehicle after it broke down on the interstate, the crew at Pep Boys were quick and efficient in their assessment of the car and let us know what our options were without being rude or pushy. Great job!

Had a bolt in my tire. Immediately stopped at Pep Boys on Cobbs Ford road where Saul and his team quickly fixed the issue. It was instantly apparent from the moment I arrived that they treat all their customers like family, working hard to get the job done the right way. Fantastic, expeditious service and professionalism.

Management was very rude and told me to take my car and leave all because I wanted either conventional oil or synthetic blend and they refused to accommodate my wishes.. I would not recommend them for an oil change if your not wanting to use full synthetic oil

They are very amazing I love the staff and the owner is the most amazing person he is very nice patient and understanding if you have any problems with your vehicle I strongly suggest taking it here if I could rate them 1000 I would most definitely get 5 stars from me. Pep boys in prattville is the best car place in Alabama. Way to go fellas and thank you more than you can imagine

Would give 6 stars if possible. Saul, the manager is awesome, and so are his guys. They quickly fixed a flat for me once, and the second time I went in with a different flat, they couldn't repair it. They let me know my replacement tire would be expensive if sticking with the original one I had and gave me the name of a different shop that may be cheaper. I ended up sticking with Saul at Pep Boys. Next day he couldn't find the tire he quoted, but worked hard to find the more economical option and make it right. Everyone knows trustworthy mechanics are hidden gems. You found 'em! Would recommend them 10/10.

The best service without a long wait. The service manager, Saul (I hope I got his name right), extremely helpful, patient...Explained everything about my brake issues & even advised me I would soon need tires (which I purchased since I was already there. Thanks...In & out! If you are in the Prattville Al area & need service for your vehicle...Pep Boys is the go to place

With its perfect blend of utility and design, it beckoned to be our next adventure vessel. My heart condition demanded care, and Rollo, my faithful service dog, was ever vigilant, making sure every decision I made was the right one. A car with functional AC wasn t just a luxury, it was essential.Upon the car's swift delivery, Rollo gave a curious sniff, circling the hatchback, tail wagging in hopeful anticipation. But when the warm gust of air greeted us instead of the expected chilly breeze, both our hearts sank.Not willing to accept defeat, I sought the services of a qualified mechanic, known for quick turnarounds. After what felt like a brief consultation and an exchange of cash, I was dismayed to find that the AC problem persisted. The mechanic had taken me for a ride, and not the kind I had in mind.Almost at wit's end, I was recommend Pep Boys, and it was there that I met Chris. One look at the hatchback, one glance at Rollo, and Chris knew what was at stake. Leave it to me, he declared confidently. I took my car there about 4 months ago with engine problems. I was told by other shops that nothing could be done. Pep boys got me back on the road. They were very knowledgeable and thorough. The manager was very helpful. I highly recommend the Prattville Pepboys.

Excellent service. They explained everything well and explained everything that needed to be done before they did any work. They were honest about work that needed to be done and not just trying to rip me off. Ask for Saul or Chase. Really great guys
