I went to Eddie s twice 2021 and 2022. I went in because my car went dead and he replaced my alternator. The first time I was pleased but after 2021 it went down again in 2022. He replaced my alternator again and then last year 2023 my truck went down again. I do not know why my truck keeps breaking down but my guess would be Eddie didn t fix my problem. I do not understand why my battery kept going dead, I replaced the battery more than twice. So I will not EVER return to Eddie I spent well over 700$ altogether for both years , if you re a lady run fast and away, he must have something against females. I even heard he s a drunk so that tells me all I need to know.

Eddie was extremely rude. Unacceptable. I think the job was actually bigger than what he could do, but he did not want to acknowledge it.

I called Eddies Auto Repair for a question repair in AC Barry rude I highly do not recommend this auto repair so car business. They need to learn how to speak to customers. I was told not to call. If not leaving a message. How do you talk to customers that way?

If you re a woman and want to be talked down to and told you re stupid Big Eddie is your guy. Took my car in and had him fix it. Drove off and the next day the check engine light came on, called and he said to put a sticker on it so I would not see it . To make a long story short DO NOT take your car to Big Eddie, he s an abusive, egotistical man and this wasn t even rocket science for me to figure this out.

Eddie has serviced all 3 of our family vehicles, a Range Rover, Audi and Jeep Wrangler. He is always prompt and a delight to work with. He is reasonably priced and always gives us great advice and ways to save money. Cant' say enough good things about this shop. Eddie is the best in the business when it comes to car repairs. I've been going to Eddies for about a decade with any car issues I have. When you know as little about cars ad I do, honesty is the biggest factor when choosing a mechanic, and Eddie fits the bill. The last time I took my car in (transmission issues), Eddie quoted me $1300 for the repair but encouraged me to call around just so that I was comfortable with moving forward. I called 4 different transmission repair shops, and every single quote I got was >$2,000. That really showed a couple things:1. How efficient he is by being able to save you money due to his vast knowledge of the intricacies of car repairs.2. He's not looking to jack your price up to make a profit on this one repair. He knows that if he's giving you a good deal, you'll continue to come back and he'll make his money by repeat business instead of what others do by overpricing you and trying to make it all on one repair.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Transmission repair, Brakes

Incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Will never take one of my vehicles to Eddie s. If you re a woman, I d highly suggest you find a different mechanic.

I broke down on a road trip, and came to Eddie's on the recommendation of a local. He could not have been kinder to me. He was very honest, charged a fair price for repairs, and encouraged me to call him on the road if I had any problems. Also, I am female and appreciate a mechanic who talks to me as if I have a brain in my head. I knew what he was doing and why. Far better than other mechanics I have dealt with.

We are military, it is always hard to find a garage you can trust when you move. We have taken our car to Eddie's several times and I have always been impressed with their honesty. There has been several times when I left thinking that they could have ripped us off, but they didn't. Knowing they are trustworthy gives me more confidence in their work, and the work has always been great. Nice people too! I don't usually write reviews but felt that these guys deserve it!

I have been dealing with Eddie for over a year now and could not be happier. He gives fair prices and the quality of work is top notch. He has worked on my daughter's Mazda 3, had it done on time and the price was exactly what he quoted. Every car in my family will be taken to Eddie's when there is a problem, I like dealing with a man I can trust!

Eddies is the only place I would ever consider taking my car. Excellent experience every time I go there. The people are friendly, and you can see that they take pride in what they do. They always get the job done right the first time too. To top it all off, they're honest people so you know you're getting a fair price. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Eddie has worked on the cars in our family for over 20 years. He has been dependable and the quality of work is always the best. My husband and I have trusted Eddie with our vehicles for over 10 years, he is the most straight forward honest mechanic that we have ever encountered. Recently I had a most serious problem in my car, my whole steering mechanism went out in my car and the warranty went out2000 miles ago. Eddie said for him to fix it would be a fair but costly price for us, but he also guided us to go to the maker of our vehicle and talk to the service manager. The maker of our vehicle said we would be more than happy to take care of this matter for you at no cost to you because not only did Eddie guide us on what to do he also gave us paperwork to back the situation up. Now I ask all of you who has ever encountered such an honest mechanic? He could have simply said sure I can fix it and took our money, but that's not how Eddie works, I'm telling everyone if you want someone honest and fair for your mechanical needs please call Eddie they don't get any better than him. I took my classic car to Eddies for him to check out my A/C. They quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed same day. They done a great job and didn t over charge for the service. Very nice business! I will be back in the future!

Six years ago, for our oldest son's 16th Birthday, we bought a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix with close to 200,000 miles on it. We took the car to Eddie to check it for any major problems prior to the purchase and explained that the seller wanted to keep the custom rims and tires on the car, and did not have the originals to place back on the vehicle. Knowing we did not have a lot of extra money to spend after the purchase, Eddie recommended that we take a look at Pull-A-Part for replacement wheels. We actually found 4 inexpensive wheels & tires, so Eddie sent a member of his staff to pull-a-part in the hottest part of the summer to remove the wheels and tires for us. After mounting the wheels, Eddie noted that one of the tires to be dry rotted, so he replaced it with a better used tire free of charge. After the wheel problem was settled, Eddie did a diagnostic evaluation and a good once over to check the car for any major defects. Upon completion, he made a list of identified problems and potential problems that could lead to costly repairs. He made sure the identified problems were taken care of immediately and gave us the potential problem list, so we could save for these replacements. Eddie gave us peace of mind by being honest and did not break us by hitting us with costly repairs or replacements all at once. My son drove that car another 2-3 year, before he was hit by another vehicle and the Grand Prix was totaled.My daughter drives a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue and is a student at Auburn. After being stranded with car problems a couple of times, Eddie has her come by his shop when she is home and checks her vehicle free of charge for potential problems and to again give us peace of mind. He knows her safety on the road between here and Auburn means more to us than anything. Thanks Eddie & Kim for treating our family as your own.

Truly life saving service! My HHR was leaking gas and due to a sinus defect I couldn't smell it. I took it in to see why the check engine light was on and why my gas mileage was so drastically different and I was made aware of the seriousness. Once my husband arrived and confirmed that I had driven over 100 miles with a gas leak I think I went into shock! Thankfully Eddies was able to repair the problem and offer the absolute best price around. Truly a life saver. Thanks again

My family and i were driving from Illinois to Destin FL for a family vacation for thanksgiving when our car broke down. Luckily Eddie helped us out and fixed it right away. Eddie was very generous on taking us so quick and getting us back on the road. You saved our vacation. Thank you Eddie. I recommend taking your car here.

I have used Eddie's Automotive to keep both of my cars in top shape. I have always gotten outstanding services and the staff are the best. I honestly feel that when I am told something is wrong with my car, then I can trust what I am being told. Excellent services and trusting people is why I drive to Prattville to get my car serviced.

My husband and I moved from Chicago to Alabama a little shy of seven years ago. We were referred to Eddie's early on in the first year when my air conditioning was not working. Eddie quoted us a rate that was much more reasonable than the dealership we had taken it to here in town. We were so impressed with his service, and the knowledge of him and his employees that we began taking both of our cars to him on a very (and I mean very) regular basis. I commute for work and need repairs frequently. Eddie has been FANTASTIC! We now refer him to everyone that needs a mechanic that is honest, reliable, and patient. He has gone above and beyond for us both on countless occasions.

What a great guy!! We were in town just for the day and got a flat so we walked in only to see if he had fix a flat, but he had our tire fixed and us on the road in 15 minutes! Him and his sweet puppy Trouble saved our day. At no charge!!! Cute and clean place with a good and honest proprietor!

My dashboard lit up with indicators, googled garages near Prattville, Al.; Eddie's was 3rd on the list, 4.3 mi from my US 65 location, so i called and he said come on by.At 3:30pm on a Friday, Eddie jumped into action diagnosing, assessing, pulled my car into the stall and his team went to work: rear brakes, reset indicators, oil change, tire rotation and road trip inspection. (Oil change and tire rotation were my request)I was given a print out of the diagnosticfor a point of reference. Eddie also educated me on the indicators, red-seek assistance, yellow maintain course investigating upon arrival.WOW, ~1 hr. And reasonably affordable.PLUS, you get some ' Trouble loving'. Trouble is such a sweetie and entertaining .I made it to my destination of Pensacola without anymore concerns.As a traveling single woman, I was grateful for the direction and honesty.

Just came from here. Let me first off say I was no having any luck on finding my tire for my car. I spoke with Brandy, she was very professional and sweet. She helped me so much! The other gentleman I believe is the owner was very professional and sweet as well, he and Brandy was so welcoming and nice to my children. I will absolutely be back again!

I can not recommend this place more for your automotive needs. Daniel and Mr.Eddie are both very kind and extremely customer oriented. Being military we move around a lot and find that we often need auto service but don t know who to go to in a new town. I am very happy to have found this auto service shop. Daniel went out of his way to find and order a part for my Armada that had broken and found it at a great cost. I would come here again and again if we weren t moving. Highly recommend.

Trust. We have used Eddie s LLC for years and have nothing but good things to say about any repairs, routine maintenance and service as well as the friendliness of Eddie, Kim and their entire staff. After all these years, they are more like good friends to us and the key to that relationship is trust. We know they deal honestly with us and avoid unnecessary work. I posted a negative review on Facebook and this moron reported it as Hate Speech and had my account suspended...So here it is, where he cant remove it.Avoid this place at all costs... If I could Give Negative Stars I would....Bought a Cougar, Oh what a deal it was... Let me tell you.. So far I have sunk another $2,000 in trying to make this car right for my daughter, New Front end suspension, wheel bearings, brakes, fuel pump that was redneck engineered into the tank, I can go on and on and on! And to top it off just had something else major break tonight. Tip top mechanical shape my hind end.. I have never seen such shady mechanical work in all my life.. The job that Eddie did on this number takes the cake. He did pretty good at concealing the problems until they all broke in a major way. He polished this Turd well...Avoid this place at all costs, it will cost you more in the end.

Kim was very nice, i had a/c problems on my envoy and they did a good job at a reasonable price and did not use guess work. fixed right the first time and quick.Eddie also cares about his employees because his shop is airconditioned for them.
