This is truly a shop you can trust and be confident not only with the competency of their work but of the content of their character. I took my truck to a couple places for an estimate on some AC work and was told by two other shops I needed a condenser kit 1,500.00. I brought it here and found that I only needed a line and seal replaced. They saved me over 1,000.00. AC is colder than it s ever been! They will not sell you something you don t need. The girls in the office were polite, knew what they were talking about and actually made me feel like I had been coming there for years. They are truly amazing! Both times we've been in in minutes, even if they were busy! Super friendly, very reasonable pricing, and I trust the work they do. It is a great feeling to trust what's being done to your vehicle. They have a customer for life knowing they are keeping my vehicle safe for me. Only been in twice, but you feel like family when you're here. Thank you all so much!!

These people rock. They took me in on a VERY busy day and got my alternator replaced-less expensive than anyone else in town. They got me back on the road pretty quick. I'm from Mobile so it meant a lot that they took good care of me & my car. If you're in Prattville and need any repairs, call them first! Don't eben waste your time on any other place! Always great work on my vehicles and at a fair price. Work is always done right the first time. I need to d my Tacoma back in 1 day due to a VA appointment. I took the truck in early as I was instructed to do and by 1300 I was paid and leaving. They replaced the U-joints for me. Always great courtesy, professional attitude and quick turn around.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called them first thing in the morning. They were slammed but somehow they still managed to install a new radiator, 4 brake pads and 2 rotors with same day service on my 2004 Nissan Armada. To say I was impressed is an understatement. Great service-friendly family owned operation. Second time using them and they will continue to get my business.

I am always in a new place because I'm always in a new town. I drove up here from Brantley with my A/C not working after calling them last week. Once they knew what was wrong, they had it fixed in no time! As I sat there I heard customer after customer mention how they always go here, never any place else. I can see why! They are quick, good at their job, appropriately priced, and super friendly!

I was a new customer. I had my 03 Ranger fuel pump replaced. Quick and excellent repair and a very fair price. I highly recommend and will will be back for Auto repairs. Highly knowledgeable and professional employees. Ive had 2 experiences with them in the past couple of weeks (company vehicle and personal) and both times, the job was completed in a short amount of time and waaaaaay less expensive than I thought it would be. I'm sending my dad there next week to get his truck a/c fixed. Highly recommend

Extremely awful customer service. I tried to ask the cashier lady about my bill and what was being charged for and she was rude and didn't even tell me what I'd been charged a couple hundred of dollars for. Then she proceeded to answer a phone in my face, another customer which she was talking badly about before she helped me. Rude. Unhelpful. Do not recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went in because of my A/C.. my car uses 1234yf freon and they were the only ones who were able to get my diagnostic done! I took my car back a few days later for the repairs and they had my car ready in a timely manner & they were very reasonable on pricing. I would recommend them to family and friends!!

Always great service and reasonable prices! On a couple of occasions, I thought the issues with my car would be serious and that the repair bill would be very expensive; however, Neal and Brenda are honest and my repairs ended up being something very minor and inexpensive. I would highly recommend Alabama Auto & AC.

Mrs Brenda and her staff at either of their locations are awesome. I've gone in anticipating a costly repair only to find out it can be done for $30. They do what needs to be done and won't try to twist your arm for additional services that aren't crucial. They do all the work on my family's cars and will for the years ahead.

Highly recommended.. got an estimate from stivers to fix my AC and it was 1450. They told me alot of lies about all my lines leaking and they would have to take the bumper and grill off. Went to Alabama Auto AC and they had it checked out within 2 hours and repaired the lines going to my evaporator before 11 o clock for 200 dollars. Y'all keep up the good work. I'll definitely he back.

I had a flat tire on 82. My car has antitheft lugs on the wheels and I didn't have the tool to get it off. They had the tool but couldn't leave to help. Their was a very nice tow truck driver there who they loaned the tool to and he came and helped me get my old tire off and the donut on so that I could make it to get a new tire on. I wish I had gotten the tow truck drivers name. Thank you guys! You really helped me in a bind!

Took my car to another repair shop that quoted me $1800+ and then changed the quote when my husband came in to talk to them. All of a sudden the quote was $1400+. We said no thank you. I took the quote to Alabama Auto and A/C...manager asked "Who told you that you needed all these parts/repairs? (I was by myself). They quoted me $687 for the entire repair and parts. Took it in Monday and my A/C works great. Almost 100% sure the other place saw a woman and thought we can charge her whatever we want. Alabama Auto and A/C mechanics and front office staff are great!

I love the Vinson's, they are family owned, family operated, people with a heart and I don't trust either one of my vehicles to anyone else! They are amazing people and a trustworthy business! When was the last time you took your car or truck to someone you knew you could trust? I do it all the time!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great experience. I am a car guy and needed some ac work done that my back wouldn t alllow me to do. Neal was very helpful and knowledgeable. Brenda shopped the parts to get a lifetime warranty without adding a condenser. My classic blows ice cold air again. Thanks guys, look forward to you putting air back on my vette.

Asked to get my brakes fixed, paid $180, they still barely work. the vehicle is parked. Will never go back.Update: I took my truck in because I kept getting a check engine code and the main symptom (that I hadn't fixed already ie spark plugs, wires, compression check, etc) was the catalytic converter. I was told the code was ok (it wasn't the cat, told by them) but I would lose gas mileage and performance, which I'm ok with as I only drive this vehicle a few times a year as necessary. My friends vehicle was having issues recently so I offered to drive her around while her vehicle was in the shop. We went to pick up her vehicle and I was told my brakes probably still have issues because when you brought it in for the catalytic converter we noticed brake fluid leaking from the rear (which is why I asked them to fix it before). The huge kicker is, they let me go, without telling me they noticed brake fluid dripping, and now offering to fix it. Unbelievable. And you are correct Alabama Automitive and AC Service, I have been going to you for several years and the service has been FANTASTIC, until you opened a new location. It now seems customer service means nothing. Treated rudely, work being done and charged without asking if the customer wants it done.
