My recent visit to Tire Outlet left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the majority of the staff provided excellent service, displaying professionalism and expertise in assisting with my tire needs. However, one unfortunate encounter with a tire engineer tainted an otherwise positive experience.Despite being African American customers, my companions and I expected to receive the same level of respect and attention as any other patron. Regrettably, one tire engineer failed to uphold this standard. His demeanor was dismissive and bordered on disrespectful, making us feel undervalued solely based on our race. This behavior was unacceptable and tarnished an otherwise pleasant interaction.Despite this unfortunate incident, I must commend the rest of the team at Tire Outlet for their exceptional service. From helping us select the right tire to efficiently completing the installation process, the majority of the staff displayed professionalism and courtesy throughout our visit.In conclusion, while I rate Tire Outlet four out of five stars for the quality of their service and products, it is imperative that they address instances of unprofessional behavior among their staff. Every customer, regardless of race or background, deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

I would not ever recommend this place to anyone ever. I have spent three different days having to take my truck to this place. I originally only took my truck to have 2 valve stems replaced. Supposed to be simple right. Wrong I took their suggestions and replaced 2 of my tires on my truck. In the end cost me around $150.00. The first day I left there they had knocked a balancer off one of the tires they replaced the valve stem in. So I could even run 65 mph because it would bounce so bad. The second day I took it back gave them a chance to fix their mistake. Trusted that they did what it took to fix what they messed up. But when I left it was still bouncing just as bad when I took it back. The third time I took it back because of the bouncing and the fact that they left 2 lug nuts loose on the front tire and they didn't put enough air in either one of them on the front of my truck. They only had 30psi in them. They were supposed to have 45psi in them. I only realized this after I drove my truck all the way to Decatur, Georgia. Trusting that they people had done their jobs correctly. I honestly don't want to think of what could have happened if God wasn't looking out for me on my trip out of town. Because both of my front tires could have blown out or totally came completely off because of low air and loose lug nuts. So instead of having all matching tires when I took my truck to them in the first place. I now have 4 different kinds of tires and none of them match. And 1 mub grip tire. Not to mention it is still bouncing and not balanced correctly. And again they left lug nuts loose on one of my front tires. I am so displeased with this place. I don't usually leave any kind of review on the places I have been. But this is absolutely ridiculous.

I was wanting some scallops and crab cakes. They didn't have them but what I did get was amazing. I will definitely go back and I recommend them.

Jimmy an Kay an the rest of there Crew are good an kind hearted people that would help an do anything they could to take care or your vehicles an the bad reviews are probably from used tires that could be solved by a simple phone call if it was a mistake by anyone there!!!

I stand by my 5 star review from 4 years ago. Took another car in for new tires today and I give them another 5 stars. Libby is so helpful and friendly, Brandon got the work done, friendly and quick with the work. If you haven t checked out Scott s prices you might be paying too much. Great service, good prices and quality work.

We bought a tire from them, and the next morning it was flat. Most places would have told us it was our problem. We didn't have a good spare. They came to our house in Gardendale an hour after we called. They took the tire off, drove all the way back to pinson to fix it, then brought the tire back and put it on for us in less than two hours. They even put air in our spare tire for us before they left. If it had not been for them we would still be stranded. We will definitely be using them in the future, and would recommend them to anyone.

They put a used tire on last night but when I woke up it was flat. They told me to bring it back and they would fix it so I called roadside assistance thru my insurance and they sent a man out but he said my lugs were stripped and he couldn't get the tire off. I called Scott's back and, I kid you not, within 3 hours they came to my home in Gardendale, tried to put my spare on (lugs were fine- they got it off by hand but the roadside guy couldn't get it with a drill) realized my spare was flat so they took my tire BACK to the shop in pinson, fixed the tire... AND brought it back and put it back on my car. FOR ABSOLUTELY NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! We tipped what we could and they definitely earned some life-long customers and I would recommend them to anyone I can. Thank you guys so much!

These guys work quick, which is important when you have three jobs and also a severe problem with running over nails. The prices are good, staff is nice. If there's any type of issue with their work or product, they'll make it right immediately.

Bought a used car for our son and wanted to get the tires and brakes checked. Was prepared to have to pay for brakes and new tires. They said only needed one tire as it was about to split and the brakes looked good. Saved us some money and right at Christmas. Great group of guys. Highly recommend.

After a terrible experience I had another tire repair shop about 10 minutes prior I found Scott's tire outlet. What a world of difference. They were quick to help me, very reasonably priced and didn't the work needed quickly. If you're anywhere in the area of Scott's tire outlet and you need some sort of service that they provide do yourself a favor and visit Scott. I am so Happy and grateful for the experience I had there.

We were robbed!! 60 dollars for a used tire!Got a flat and limped in told him we needed a cheap good tire and dude in the back told us they had cheaper tires than that!!go to Miles right down the street on the left side of hwy 79 right by the gas station in frongog bowling alley. 25 30 dollar tires he is fast and friendly!!

Did not tighten any of my wife's lugnuts. 4 lugnuts fell completely off and the rest were hand started but never tightened. She was stuck on the side of the road. I had to leave work to take a jack and 4 way to complete the job. Also had to purchase 4 new lugnuts. I would not recommend this place for any type work.

Always a great experience at Scott's! Fast, friendly, cheap & accurate. I go here for all my tire repair needs. They also offer a small variety of car service needs.

Great place and very great staff, Everytime i go to this place they go as fast as they can while still doing great work. Its even faster if u have an appointment and get there 10 minutes early. Fantastic prices and customer service, ive truly never been there to get something done and had a bad word to say about any part of the process. Great prices too yall. :)

My dad always frequented this shop when he was alive, now I do. They are reliable and no nonsense. Good at what they do and affordable. These folks have gotten my cars road-worthy many a time.

They've been in business I guess forever. I've purchased tires there for over 15 years. Friendly good service and competitive prices. If they don't have what you need they'll do their best to get it or match the quality of tire you want. Good folks!

I was told I needed 4 new tires by another auto shop where I got my oil changed. Went to Scott's and asked for their opinion. The manager told me I really only needed 1 tire. He was so nice and gave me a good deal on a used tire that looked brand new. The service was fast and the staff was very nice and helpful. I will recommend this place to friends and family for sure.

This is my go-to spot for all tire woes. It's in the country and it looks a little rundown, but they offer great service and fair prices.They have a large selection of take-off tires available and almost always have my size in, which is sort of rare for me; I have low profile tires that are not always easy to find. I have had great experiences each time I pull in with a tire that is low on air. They always thoroughly examine the problem and they offer alternatives to purchasing a new tire whenever they can.I watched many a weary traveler stroll in, heads hanging in despair, only to be fixed right up and put back on the road in no time.

Don't use this tire shop. I had to get a brand new tire this last Saturday. The guy told me the bad tire had a bad plug in it. Meaning this tire shop sold me the tire that had a plug in it. I know Scott personally. I will be in contact with Him and let him know what his employees are doing.

It depends on which tire guy you get. There is one with 20yrs. experience that could do this with his eyes closed. He works hard & fast, and makes sure you are riding, just as safe as his own family. Stay clear of trainees and for the management, I will let you figure out what kind of people they are. Actual manager sits and plays solitaire all day, while everyone else works.

In and out really fast. Very nice employees. I've been getting the same tires for my truck for years but the manager suggested I try different kind thats better fit for it and not more expensive. Definitely recommend.

I was quoted a price when I called, and was told that it included mounting, balancing, and tax; but after the tire was placed on the car, and it was time to pay, I was charged tax and other fees. I really needed that tire, I was there for about an hour waiting to have my tire replaced, and I really didn't feel like debating the issue, so I just paid the extra $20 and left.

Took my 88 Ranger that I just bought to get some tires put on and afterwards I got home and had my brother (who is a mechanic) to look at the tires and they had put the one way tires on backwards! Not only that, but since it had just been bought, we hadn t looked under the hood. Well my brother and several other mechanics were attempting to fix the tires when they noticed that out break line was cut and had a nail through it. Now I m positive that the shop didn t do that, but if they changed the the tire wouldn t they have seen that our break line was cut and warned us? I will definitely be calling and complaining!!!

Was told that the front end needed to be aligned and new wheel bearings which titans out front pass. hub and axel had to be replaced and the car could not be aligned for to a bent grant that I should have been told about when I was told it could be aligned $470 for nothing but the same problem
