These guys are super nice and very professional. They are upfront and honest. Being female, I don t really trust too many mechanics, but I do with this group. Will definitely be a returning customer!

I dropped my car off to have the starter replaced. I had a prior diagnostic at auto zone. Auto zone told me my battery was good, but starter was bad. When Cobb auto motive called to tell me car was fixed, NOTHING was mentioned about a battery. He simply said the car was fixed and ready. I picked it up and drove home. I looked at invoice. It said "replaced battery". My battery was good. Cobb Automotive performed the wrong service, didn't inform me of their change of repair. They charged me $210 for a battery and $62 to change it out! They took advantage of s female . Do not use this service. They are fraudulent and misleading with their services.

Impressive Service! Called and they were able to service my AC immediately! Service Mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and professional! Really happy to have found these guys for a dependable mechanic shop!

"Not competent or honest" I went in to find a serious problem with my 2000 mustang v6. I had asked them for a diagnostic scan to find out what it was. We waited for about an hour and a half and I became frustrated. When I asked what the progress was they shuffled around and said the person who started the scan went to lunch.. They finally came out with a paper with "B.S. Scan" on it.. (hmm).. They listed some basic DTC codes (the kind you get at Autozone for free) and said I needed a fuel pump and figured I would let them do that.. no no no... I just paid them the $60 for nothing.. I've replaced a few parts like the EGR valve and Mass Air Flow sensor and it's running better now.. still not perfect though.. but I've been here to B'ham a few times and it's definitely not the fuel pump! A real scan with datalogging would have found the problem. If you are the type that says, "Just do whatever it needs" then this place is for you.. You must have a job that pays very well... My advice.. DON'T!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I dropped my truck off at 7:30 am when they opened to get the oil changed and tires rotated. I returned at 2:45 pm to pick it up. They told me to give them an hour and they would get right on it. I told them they had it for seven hours and that was plenty of time to work on it. I will not be going back. I would give a zero star rating if that was an option.Service: Oil change

I purchase a create engine with a transmissionHad it delivered to Cobb automotive with the promise from Shane they could perform the task the price was 1,200 which was paid in full. They charge me another 380.00 for nuts and bolts found on the shop floor. My alternator top bolt was cross trended. Wires rap with black tape and twisted together .They told me to take my car to amaco after they burn out my transmission now to repair that was 2,000 dollars. On top of that my car had fuel pump and carburetor issues they couldn't fix. They said come get your car it's nothing we can do. Basically they took money for services they couldn't render. The boss of that shop is most definitely not a honorable person.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

Awesome customer service. I have infant twins and my tire blew. I didn't know how or when I was going to be able to go somewhere. They have 24 hour road side assistance that is reasonable priced and very fast! They were life savers!

My experience with Mr. Cobb's business was very positive. My impression was he cares more about service than he cares about your wallet. Sure maybe a big-box store could beat his prices on tires, but they couldn't touch him on service and experience.We live almost 200 miles from his shop and were "introduced" through a breakdown. If we were closer, this would be the regular place for us to have our vehicle repaired/serviced. 5 Stars.

Please don't get any transmission work done on your car by these guy's.they claim to be certified, but I don't know how . My transmission was leaking fluid@ when I put it in reverse, it wouldn't go up a hill. Took the car to them, they said I needed a rebuilt Trans.I paid them$2000 cash.when I got it back for a few days,I had to take it back for Trans.leak@not shifting correctly.the 1two shift. Tomorrow will be my 4th time taking it back for the same 2 problems.I got this Trans.Job in April. Maybe this Review will get their attention.

Awesome service and very trustworthy!!! I had a screw in my tire, and instead of changing it they checked it, and it hadn't gone all the way through. They removed it and sent me on my way for free!! I highly recommend!

Good all around auto mechanic shop. Offers repairs for mechanically related issues and tires for everything from a Mini Cooper to an 18 wheeler.

Much higher than other tire stores. Sears will beat their prices. Also some locally owned shops can too.
