Buck is a very honest guy who treats everyone fairly and do not try to rip you off qualitative work is done quickly and professionally I think he s the best in town!

This it the best auto repair shop ever, especially for women.Buck s Automotive of Oxford, Alabama are professional and honest. They also take pride in the work they do and they want cut no corners with you and your vehicle. My mind at ease when I dropped my Dodge Challenger off to them. Because, I felt they would figure out what the problem was with my 2010 Dodge Challenger, RT, and they did. The driveshaft in my car needed replaced, it couldn t be repaired because of the parts that were damaged. Buck s Automotive searched and searched, until they found a driveshaft that fitted my challenger. They also rebuild what was needed in that driveshaft. They did not give up on me and my car. I was expecting to pay more but the price was reasonable. I thanked God for the staff working there and I asked him to blessed them all. My car is riding like a new car! I am so happy and pleased with how my car.Buck s Automotive is the place to take cars, trucks, or any vehicle. I even advised that the car dealership to use this company because I could not depend on Dodge dealership to properly diagnose, repair or replace anything on my Dodge Challenger.If you are having car troubles, take your car, truck or any vehicle to Buck s Automotive in Oxford, Al. You want regret it. They will diagnosed, fix or repair your vehicle the right way for a reasonable/ justifiable price. Buck is honest and the coolest mechanic. He helped us when we were stranded in Alabama to fix a thermostat. He got us on the road as soon as possible despite being so busy! Price is reasonable.Really appreciate such help. Wish you the best for your business.

I highly recommend 20/20! Buck is very knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time out to help me when I first arrived, told me what part I needed and even ordered it for me so I could go pick it up. Very sweet and with me being a woman that don t know much about cars he literally broke it down for me so I could understand what was wrong with my car and what I would be paying for such as the parts etc. I would recommend over and over! Top Tier!!

These guys are top notch! They replaced my tranny and the first one did not go so well. They honored the 90 day warranty, replaced it at no charge to me, and earned a customer for life. It is rare nowadays for someone to actually stand behind the work they perform. I will take ALL of my business to Buck and he will get high recommendations with my friends and family. Buck is the most honest and best mechanic I know. He stands behind all his work. Had my car towed in and he had me up and running within a couple of hours. He is definitely my go to mechanic for everything!

I LOVE THE expertise from this repair shop. I was in a bad situation after having bad brake service from another shop. The other shop charged me $900.00 only to have not being able in 2 return trips and 13 days keeping my truck where they screwed up. Called BUCK and the guy has so much class and realized I was 240 miles from home. Brought me in..found the problem in 10 minutes and had my vehicle in superb condition all for less than $200.00!! People everywhere. Please don't trust people when your car has issues ! Please call BUCK and get it right the 1st time ! Unbelievable Service ! This place is fantastic! The owner went out of his way to repair my wife's van. He charged a fair price when most places would've charged double or triple what he did. He went the extra mile for us and made sure we were satisfied. Paid for engine work. I pulled the engine and dropped it off. Now the upper oil pan is leaking in several spots. Only way to fix it is to pull the engine. Didn t plug in sensor so I had to pay my installer to redo some of their work after engine was installed. Waste of money and a headache. Now I m worried about the other things they did. Would not recommend.Service: Engine repair

Buck is a very nice guy. I needed my heater repaired. They did a great job. !!! 5/25/22 Five stars to Buck's Automotive, I went in and Buck fixed my A/C while I was there, a part was needed, he ordered it, it was delivered in a matter of minutes. I was thinking that I would have to leave my vehicle but when I left my A/C was working perfectly. What really impressed me was that I was only there a few minutes before he got to me. Excellent service, I highly recommend Buck for all your vehicle repairs.

Highly recommend!!! The owner Buck is exceptional and even though he was slammed with business today; he still fit me in to get my headlights, tag light, and a tune up done. He even stayed late to get the job done. It's hard to find a good, trustworthy, and affordable mechanic, so I feel blessed that I have found one!!!

I live in Anniston. Since coming here, Ive been scammed and cheated nonstop to the point of infuriation, frustration, and rage. Im locked into multiple legal battles trying to remedy some in fact. Its hard to find workers, businesses, and services in this town you can trust, and that's sad because Anniston and Oxford really have a lot of charm and a lot to offer!After being scammed out of several thousand dollars between my honda accord and my chevy s10, having them damaged BY THE MECHANIC far worse than they were when I put them in, I reached out to Buck's Automotive. He did a DIAGNOSTIC, let me know exactly what damage had been done, and gave me a no nonsense answer on the cost for the job. He has worked both vehicles now, and I couldnt be happier. Ive found my mechanic. He not only helped me fully remedy my 20+ yr old car in full, he helped me to hold the bad mechanic to account in a court of law and I for one will never forget it.Buck is a good and trustworthy man who does excellent work and provides excellent service. His shop can be slow; he stays slammed, but it IS worth the wait. This is MY mechanic now. Called him at 8 this morning he had a tow truck here by 9. Replaced my alternator Called me at 1 and let me know my car was up and running I'll definitely be back for future needs.very professional service and very reasonable prices.

I brought our third vehicle in today. They listen to their customers, are professional and courteous. Not only have they done great repair work but Buck is fair with pricing and I trust them. Would give it less stars if I could. Took my vehicle there to have the engine rebuilt over a year later still not running right it stalls out. Everytime I start it it smokes and a horrible rattling sound. I've tried to call buck several times no answer no call back so I went to his shop an was told he's not their paid around 6,000 to have the work done and it's still not right.

Great fair prices. Will use again for anything I cant do on my own. Even shared how the wheel studs were installed. My GMC needed a slave cylinder one time took it here. He said $150. Then i found out it was inside the transmission. I called him and told him he said it be more. When I asked it was still a fair price. It was $190. Has a lot of business so him and his guys get to it as they can. But the prices cannot be beat unless it is someone in their back yard and then still might not be done right. They will do the job right

Excellent workmanship on a difficult job at a fair price.....I brought a 2003 GX470 Lexus to Buck Automotive that had 100,000 miles on the odometer. The steering was"binding" making the vehicle difficult to steer. The job was complicated by the fact that this vehicle was originally bought and run in Ohio for a number of years. (Salt is used to provide traction on snowy or icy roads during Ohio winters often leads to rust.) While the body of the vehicle was wonderful, the undercarriage had a significant amount of rust. So much rust that the Lexus dealership in Atlanta took a quick look and declined to attempt to repair the vehicle. I took it to a Toyota dealership with the same result.In the past my father used Buck Automotive to repair an automobile. My Dad was extremely pleased with their work at what he deemed a fair price. He directed me to take the vehicle to Buck. Being an obedient son, I did as directed.Buck walked out to the car, started it up, and turned the wheel a couple of times. He quickly gave the diagnosis that the problem was either in the rack and pinion or in the power steering pump. I told him that a major problem might be the significant amount of rust in the undercarriage. Buck was undaunted. He explained that rust could be dealt with in a number of ways. In the worse case scenario he might have to drill which would cost me more. To make a long story short, I got a complete explanation as to what was going to be done. He further explained that the cost would be determined after his diagnosis of the problem was completed. There would be no charge for the diagnosis if we consented to let him do the work.Buck explained that due to the holidays and his busy shop, it might take him a little longer than usual to get the vehicle back to us. Still, he gave us a rough estimate of timing but emphasized that some repairs on the cars ahead of us might take longer than anticipated. In any event, we got the vehicle back in a completely acceptable amount of time with the problem fixed.. The charge was a price we were happy with especially since at least two other reputable repair shops declined to undertake the job.It should also be noted that Buck undertook to provide courtesy and convenience services that were well beyond what you would expect from the "run of the mill" automotive repair shop.I took the trouble to write this because the service was excellent and the price fair. I don't see how you could do better than having your auto repaired by Buck

It's always scary moving to a new town, and trying to find a mechanic. Found Buck about 3 years ago. He has always been fair, reasonably priced, and fixes what needs to be fixed to fit your budget. Highly recommend. He has never done us wrong.

Was traveling to Memphis and check engine light came on. Buck stopped what he was doing and diagnosed the issue. It wasn t critical, so I was safe to continue the trip. He said we don t charge for diagnosing problems. Well, I appreciate that, but paid him anyway. Great service! Thanks!

Great repair shop! Buck is hands on and tries to make sure everything that comes out of his shop he puts his eyes on and handle every situation the best possible way per customer situation and budget but importantly back on the road with a dependable vehicle that is warranties labor on all work.

This shop is hands down worth it s stars even the amount of cars waiting for work Buck makes sure any repairs are taken seriously and work done in timely manner. I d use Buck anytime over others. Great service!
