Today was my first time taking my vehicle Hampton Cove Auto. I will say this certainly won t be the last. Mike did a fantastic job explaining everything to me. He made it very clear and did not upsale me on something I didn t need. You can tell Mike does business the right way. I called just after they opened. Dropped my vehicle off around 9am, received multiple calls from Mike with updates along the way, and by 3pm I had my car. Highly recommended Hampton Cove Auto. A tremendous help in a time of need. This is by far not only the best Mechanic shop in town but the best Mechanic shop I have ever been to. Mike is one of a kind. Not only a great human being but an expert in his craft. Hampton Cove Auto Services went above and beyond! They cared for my mother's car as if it were their own mother's, with care and compassion, and researching and discovering a problem that went undiscovered at the dealership and many other garages. The check engine light lit up on my wife's Odyssey on a Friday at 11am. I called Mike and he said he could look at right after his mechanics came back from lunch, so I dropped it off at noon. He called me back around 2:30pm, told me what was wrong (oil pressure sensor), and how much it would cost to repair. I picked it up at 3:45pm. He explained exactly what was wrong, using the troubleshooting paperwork his mechanics used.When I was checking out, I offhandedly said, you happened to have that part on hand? He said, no, I ordered it as soon we suspected what was wrong, because it looked like you would need the vehicle this weekend. Good stuff. Prompt, friendly, reasonably priced service. The van is still running great. I definitely recommend Hampton Cove Auto Services.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Mike (the owner) troubleshot multiple problems for us on our vehicles - replacing hydraulic arms on the rear door of our 2014 Highlander and replacing struts on our 2011 Highlander. Problems solved and both are good as new. I'm impressed with Mike's knowledge and how thorough he is. An honest owner and hard-working, skilled mechanics. Mike, the owner, is friendly and professional. He takes the time to explain the issue and the repair needed to correct it. I have had other shops like 10-minute oil change chains tell me I needed work done on my car, taken it to Hampton Cove Auto and had Mike tell me "You are good, there is nothing wrong with your car." Have had several repairs done here. Each time job was done professionally and at very reasonable cost. I grew up working on cars and this place has good mechanics and they do not try to push other repairs on you. Mike and his crew have been serving our family s automobile needs for 20 years and he s never let us down. He may not be able to get to same day, because he s got so many happy customers, but when he gets to it, you won t regret it. December 2017: Amazing customer service! Highly recommendJanuary 2019: Mike and Jaquata were again fantastic. Not only through their customer service but demonstrated through their technical skills. I never feel like just "another customer". This family run business is best in town. Excellent service, again highly recommended. I would rate Hampton Cove Auto Service 10 out of 5 Stars if I could.

Needed to have a fuel pump replaced. Mikes quote was $200 less than what a corporate auto repair shop quoted me. They had the car fixed and ready to go in less than two days. The corporate auto repair shop said it would take a week. I will be using Hampton Cove auto again!!!!

I took my car in, and they found nothing wrong with the car. They still charged me 107$ just to look at it which I was never aware of. I leave and my struts are completely broken. I bring it back and I tell them that there s a problem and they said ok we will take a second look at no cost I said ok so no fees? And they said yes. They tell me that my struts are broken, surprise surprise and gave me a quote. I go to pick my car up because I found a better price and they charge me 30$ for suspension and alignment inspection after they told me there would be no fees to take a second look. So I spent 137$ for absolutely nothing. DONT EVER GO HERE, this was disgustingly unprofessional, I d recommend business elsewhere.

I am looking to purchase a 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade and I used Hampton Cove Auto Services for the pre-purchase inspection of an example I was considering. The car seemed ok to me, although I knew there were some issues with the shock absorbers and brakes. The PPI was the best $55 I ever spent and saved me from getting mired in a long list of reliability problems and expensive repairs that would have equaled the purchase price of the car! I haven't found the right car yet, but will try to bring a few more examples to Hampton Cove Auto Services until we identify the right one. As well as having a diligent technical team, I have found Jaquata on the customer service side to be both accommodating and very personable. My neighbor says she has been happily using Hampton Cove Auto Services for many years and it's very easy to see why. I will use them again as my first preference auto mechanic.

This is a great mom and pop auto service center and the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. I had an emergency repair and they fixed my suv on the spot without delay. I was so happy with the service and the price I even tipped my service technician. I will get all my future vehicle repairs or maintenance at this shop.

I had an urgent repair last minute before a long trip to the beach and they did a great job at a good price. They also fixed my wife s air conditioner and it works perfectly. This is a family owned shop and the lead mechanic is the owner. He doesn t pay someone to do the work for him so you know the work is done right. I recommend this shop

Traveling on way to vacation and about five miles before their shop I lost both belts on my car. No power steering, A/C, water pump, alternator, this at 2:30 in the afternoon. They pulled it in, ordered the parts, installed and back on the road at 4:30. Great shop, outstanding service!!

Rednecks that rip people off and are very rude. We moved our car into the adjacent parking lot and fixed it ourselves. They quoted us one price then decided to charge more so we said no thank you and did it ourselves. Every time we asked how much for a simple job they told us a different price ( 3 different price quotes ).

New management. Used prior to change, always fair. Went by because air quit blowing cold. Asked how much to hook up gauges to test pressure and was told "shouldn't be any charge". The compressor was engaging and disengaging so i figured it might be plugged. The technician hooked it up and saw the high side was too high and low side very low. It was plugged. They tried to say they had to pull codes and all this junk and i told them it runs fine except for the a/c. I shut off the a/c and it ran fine, it would bog down when the compressor engaged. They tried to make more out of it, then charged me $45. Avoid if possible.

I can not be seen to even get service. I have been by three times to get my vehicle serviced to get told to call on this day or that day. I understand that you are busy but how's about offering a time slot or an appointment. Often people have to change there life and there families life around to free up a vehicle. Just doesn't seem professional or considerate as a business looking to supply there community and there clients with service.

I have used them since I moved to Huntsville in 2000. Their honesty is what kept me coming back.
