Happy New Year to me! I got to spend the day at Pep Boys with Sledge and Arlan and the crew! Holiday or not, they were there to take care of an alignment for me (prescheduled by my son a couple days earlier)! It got complicated as sometimes happens; especially on a holiday where limited auto parts stores were open. Bottom line ..it took a lot longer than any of us wanted, but that crew is special! They took amazing care of me AND my car! I could not recommend them more! In a world where this doesn t always happen, I sure got lucky and so will you if you go there! 2024 is starting off well for me! Thanks Orange Beach Pep Boys team!!! I appreciate you!!

Shout out to Eric and Sledge!!! We had an oil change and tire rotation at our Conrads before we drove from Ohio to Orange Beach, Alabama. As we got close to Orange Beach we noticed a very loud noise coming from the front of the car turns out three of the five lug nuts were loose on our front passenger side Tire. Took it to Pep Boys where I met Eric the manager and Sledge the head mechanic. They were both great and check all four tires, rims then secured them back on. Can't say enough good things about Eric and sledge they were both very professional and polite!

Tarius went above and beyond to get me back on the road when my tire was blown. I was out of town on business and needed a quick turnaround. He worked beyond his shift time to make it happen, and I only knew because the desk agent mentioned needing to verify he was sticking around. Exceptional, quick service and wonderful people.

Amber at the Orange Beach store was awesome! She dealt with an out of state warranty on a tire replacement for my car. She got it done despite some issues with the warranty company.

Had an appointment. Arrived ahead of time. Told could not service , but would call later.Never received a call. Just needed an oil change. Treated rudely. Would not recommend.

We dropped off our truck on an early Friday morning to get new tires and an oil change. We were suppose to pick up our truck on Saturday. After receiving no calls, my husband called Saturday afternoon to get an update on the truck to see if the service was completed. Thats when we learned that the keys were lost. Unfortunately, we didn t have a second set of keys and we were informed that they would continue to look for keys. Unfortunately, when we called back before closing on Saturday, they were still unsuccessful in finding the keys. We were told that a call had been placed for a locksmith. On Sunday morning we called at opening and we were blessed to speak to Amber Goss and Duke. They were working that day, thank goodness! She explained that the locksmith had not returned their calls, so my husband and I took it upon ourselves to call a locksmith to meet us at the store. We had to pay out-of-pocket to have new keys cut late Sunday morning. Their company policy doesn t allow them to pay upfront. Amber and Duke provided superior customer service, and really went above and beyond in trying to locate our keys. They were very apologetic. Amber took the time to sit with us to process our refund for the locksmith. She explained step by step of how the process works and the time it takes. She had to re-clarify things that were incorrectly told to us. She is well-versed in her companies policies, and as a customer, we were so appreciative of her explaining in detail how things works in accordance to their companies policies. She really worked in helping us resolve our issue when no one else would. Duke was so kind and kept us up-to-date as well and did search hard for our truck keys. It was imperative that we had our vehicle back by Sunday at closing because we had to have it for work on Monday. Amber and Duke made it a priority to make sure everything was done and kept us informed of the status of the vehicle. They made sure our vehicle was ready by close of business on Sunday. My husband and I really appreciate their kindness and for them providing superior customer service. They truly deserve to be recognized for all of the efforts they put in to helping us! If it wasn t for them, we would no longer be a customer. Thank you again for going above and beyond and working with us to resolve our problems when no one else would!!

Had a battery problem and needed tires. Amber was my main contact and she did an excellent job analyzing the problem and encouraging me to buy a new battery instead of continue charging my old one. She also sold me on the purchase of their special (buy 3 Cooper tires-get one free) and registered me in their interest free program, which no one had mentioned previously and I've been there numerous times. Amber is a real asset to Pep Boys and should be recognized as such.

Rescheduled my oil change 3 times. Amber called me to reschedule me to the following day at 7:30amI arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time and "both" employees were outside smoking and chatting. The woman proceeds to tell me it will be hours before they can get to mine because of the cars in front of me. As I leave the woman and man go right back to smoking and chatting. Maybe if they worried about doing their job and getting their work done instead of smoking they would get their appointments scheduled correctly. Very poorly managed location by negligent employees. If I was the owner I would look into cleaning house and hiring a new staff.

Service was preformed as expected. Staff was shorthanded. No paper matts were placed on my floor mats and my matts are soiled with oil.

I don't do reviews often but I will say Pep Boys in Orange Beach is hands down GREAT! I'm a 1000 miles from home and these boys treated me like they've known me forever and went way out of their way to help me on a situation that they didn't have to do. This is the way all ofAmerica used to be. Thanks you Pep Boys

Not all Pep Boys are the same. Starting using Foley location when we moved to Gulf Shores. Big mistake. They are terrible. Orange Beach location did me right. Even got my car to me faster when something came up and I needed it. Thanks to everyone in Orange Beach Pep Boys.

The pep boys in orange beach are the most unprofessional and dishonest people that I have ever dealt with .They installed a power steering pump on my grandsons car and it failed within two days. I paid them $700 . I took it back and they installed another one and charged me $ 854 . I refused to pay the labor for the second time and just got my vehicle and they called the police on me. Don t ever trust anything they say . Terrible business !!!!!!!!

I can not say enough good about this place. They absolutely saved the day and our vacation. Our family bus rear A/C compressor went out. At first I thought, no big deal, our kids can just sweat it out all the way home. But then the serpentine belt snapped while we were driving around OB. The new store manager, Rick, opened the doors early for me on Saturday morning and said he would do his best, but that he couldn t promise anything until his tech looked at it. His tech, C.D., looked at it and was able to bypass the A/C compressor with a different belt, allowing the car to run fine without the rear A/C. Turn over time was 6 hours. This allowed us to drive the bus home the next day and saved us 700$ in rental car fees. We would have had to rent two cars to get all the family home. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Rick and C.D., y all were truly an answer to our prayers and a small miracle in our lives.Porter Family.

This morning was a stressful one but I got good service, eventhough they could not help because their brake mechanic was off this day. They referred me to the location in Foley where they set me up for an 11am appointment. I was super pleased because I'm towing a trailer on this trip and brakes are definitely needed. The front desk person was a few minutes behind but was super helpful. I can't comment on the mechanic service but the customer service was on point.

Overall, a great experience. Associate was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to book an appointment right away to get my oil changed. I arrived early and they were able to get me in and out fast. Other places that I usually go have gone way up in price. Very pleased and will use Pep Boys again.

While I can not speak to the actual service they provide to your car I can speak to being ignored/asked to wait as someone stands in front of me searching on a computer for something. Only to find out they are unable to provide any service to additional customers for the rest of the day after waiting patiently for 5+ minutes. When I expressed he should have just let me know when I got there he did apologize and began to try to recommend possibly somewhere else that could help me. I completely understand being short handed/too busy to help but waiting to tell me for that long is unacceptable.

Service was fine. Only problem was appt had to be rescheduled from Saturday to Tuesday for lack of service personnel, but when I got there Tuesday appt was not in the system, but they did.my Service anyway while I waited.

I had amazing customer service from Pep Boys. Shout out to Amber who really took care of us! I had to leave my car behind to get home to Memphis. My mom was not able to find an Uber to take her to get my car when it was done. Amber not only found an Uber for my mom but she also offered to come get her if couldn't find one. Can't find a whole lot of people like this anymore. Thank you Pep boys!

I just want to say my first experience with pep boys was out of this world Aaron was able to get our sunroof manually closed so that our car didn't get rained in while we were on vacation I can't even describe how thankful I am.

Tarius Sledge was extremely helpful. We had an issue with our rental car and he went above and beyond to help us with no hesitation. Didn t even need us to ask, just saw us struggling and offered help.He told us he was considering medical school, and if true, the world would lose an excellent tech but gain an excellent doctor. I do hope he goes to my alma mater, Meharry Medical College, but any medical school would be lucky to have him.

I've done IDK how many reviews and only a couple negative. This has been a nightmare. Our belt came off on our second day here. Online it said they had an opening at 1pm. The person answering the phone was extremely rude with every encounter. Would put you on hold and never return 25 minutes later, we hung up. Pricing just kept going up. One day turned into 3 days. We have to check out in one hour and so do not have a vehicle. To replace the belt where we live and the pulley was around $200. I guarantee the $135 that went to 185 then went to 250 is over $400!! We believe in paying people for their work but they didn't notify us or vehicle Wouldn't be finished for 2 extra days. They keep charging for labor but we've had it done before and it's a 1 hour job. We will never use them again. I hope we make it home.

Having car issues on vacation 900 miles from home is never fun ever. Had a flat tire and was able to schedule an appointment online with ease. The folks here were very communicative and got me back to my vacation in no time. Thanks for the help!

I suspect Pep Boys in Orange Beach has had a change in ownership or change in management. They used to be very good. I had an oil change scheduled for 3 pm on a Wednesday. First it was promised to be complete by end of the day Wednesday, then first thing Thursday, then end of the day Thursday, then first thing Friday. I finally got the car back on Friday at noon. Needless to say, I was not pleased. Now this is my wife's car and she said it started to smell funny. I popped the hood and found the oil cap sitting on the battery and the engine covered with oil. I won't be using Pep Boys in Orange Beach again.

The group at orange beach were great. Aaron the mechanic communicated well with me about the challenges he was facing and did s great job repairing an 18 year old car. Would definitely use them again

PEP BOYS, you saved the day!! 750 miles away from home and our alternator goes out at 9:00 p.m. Friday night, the night before we're supposed to leave. Called you first thing in the morning on Saturday, you said you'd try to squeeze us in. You did better than that!! We got our car to you at 9:30 a.m. and we were on the road for home with a new alternator and battery by 11:00. Absolutely incredibly!
