Couldn't be happier with the service. John worked with me for 3 days to troubleshoot a problem on my son's car. We found the problem and he charged me a very reasonable price. I will definitely use them again!

Hero mechanics at Gateway Tire & Auto on Pepperell pkwy! This poor kitten rode in the car all away from Phoenix city stuck behind the grill. We tried and tried to get it out with no success. I called gateway tire because they were close by and they offered to help. We carefully drove the car over and the guys successfully rescued the kitten.

I love this place! The people here really take care of you! They are honest, helpful, fit you in asap, and fair on pricing! This is the only place I take my vehicles to and I always feel like I ve been taken care of and not taken advantage of in any way and their prices are more than fair! Good honest people and business!

This shop had my vehicle for over 40 days. They were supposed to replace a rear main seal. Apparently when they put the transmission back in they damaged my vehicle. They kept telling me it was something electrical but they could not figure it out. After 40 days I took my vehicle to another shop and they fixed it within three days. It was nothing electrical. It was a damage part from where they dropped the transmission. Do not useService: Transmission repair

I drive a propane truck and my truck went down. They not only worked me into their busy schedule but jumped on my truck and got me fixed and back on my route in no time flat. These guys are absolutely awesome and everyone there is friendly and you know that they appreciate your business. I highly recommend Gateway Automotive.

Decided to take my 2010 Highlander in for an oil change on a Saturday, after several other local shops weren't able or didn't want to. I was very impressed with their service and the price. They followed up with a phone call to see if I was satisfied and also sent me a "goody bag" type package in the mail. 5 stars all the way, I will definitely return.

I been going to them for 2years. The service always good but recently the work isn't. I came to them for a alignment and they said they wouldn't align it without me getting the parts( control arms and ball joints 360$). So I managed to save and get parts. They installed the parts for another 300 but the car is still pulling. Took it back to them and they claim they realign it. But now it's pulling and vibrating. They offer to fix it but now I'm afraid they not competent to fix it plus they might want more money. Will not be going back

I love Gateway Auto. They are incredibly kind and they do great work! I have an 01 Subaru and they treat it like a new car. I ve gone to other shops in the area and I ve not appreciated the way they treat me or my car, and I love the respect and compassion I m always shown at Gateway. Their prices are more than reasonable and they take the time to explain what they re doing and why. Thank you guys for keeping my beloved car on the road and taking such great care in what you do!!!

Moved here from out of town and needed a place to get an oil change, maintenance and checkup. Took car here and they were friendly and good to deal with. Also, they reported car was in great shape and nothing needed to be fixed. So they're clearly not one of those places that always recommends fixes just to make money. Will be back for my next maintenance. Oh also, they were really good about letting me schedule a Monday appointment over the weekend by emailing them.

I had a great experience here. They were able to take my car in during this corona madness. I dropped my car off to get new tires and they had the same brand I had gotten before. Reasonably priced tires and service done to my car. And they had it done before they closed so I could have it for work the next day. Would definitely go back again for car problems.

Best place to take your vehicle. Wayne and the guys at Gateway make sure to take exceptional care of you and your vehicle. They have always gone above and beyond for us. Recently had lifters changed and they came in at the lowest price that we found. Honest, great people. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else.

I drove in to get air for my tires and got friendly service as well. I was a bit shocked because I thought I would be turned away because I wasn't a paying customer.The staff was nice and patient with me. . I really appreciated the friendly service especially now during C-19

Awesome experience. My GMC Acadia needed a new transmission. My warranty company was being very difficult, yet Gateway never complained. They were very patient with my situation and did everything that needed to be done . Very appreciative of them and most definitely will be returning.

I'm not one to complain.. But when I opened my trunk to see dangling wires.. That's it. Took my car there a few times , had a good experience until this last time. The guy Jeremy is RUDE and shouldn't deal directly with customers. Also, was without my car for months while they looked at it , got it back wasn't fixed.. Took it back they say nothing is wrong, but there is still til this day but I gave up. I think his name was James.. He's nice and tried to help . But If you can't fix it correctly let someone know. They didn't even put the cover back on my fuses and something with wires is dangling in my trunk from the previous time they fixed it Never again

We absolutely adore Wayne and his crew. We drive from Dadeville for them to work on our vehicles. They are cut and dry, get the job done, and do what they say. We highly recommend them and appreciate all they have done for us.

Super friendly staff. Quick professional service. They fixed my wheel bearings and had me back on the road in less than two hours. I highly recommend them for whatever automotive repairs you might need.

I will not be returning here. I had my oil changed and my fluids hadn't been topped off. I told the manager/owner this. He told me (with an attitude), you just have bad sensors, but it was done. Well I had already been told that my truck was taken off the rack for another car to be finished that had been forgotten about. So he went and asked the person that was working on my car if he had gotten done. He said, no. He came back and told me that my car wasn't finished. I had to wait even longer. He didn't offer an apology for telling me that i have bad sensors or keeping me away from job after having me to leave from work thinking that my truck was ready. I will continue to go to Kia of Auburn from now on. There I know the job is getting done.

Me and my wife had our sonata taken to this shop for front end repairs, we specifically asked for them to go over everything that may be an issue and repair it. We brought the vehicle in for possible CV axle replacement as is was having some grinding noice, heavy squeaking sounds, and the steering wheel was snatching hard to the left. They kept the car for almost a full week and had a list of repairs that they supposed did waiting for us, roughly $1000 in cost. I am a mechanic myself and worked for pepboys, as such, I reviewed the repairs especially after we were hearing the exact same noises for what we took the car in. They said a full alignment was done, the steering wheel I had to hold to the left to get the car to go in a straight line. We took it back a second time and asked for them to review their repairs and put all new tires, since they said our oversized ones are what caused the issue. Which we were unaware that the tires were the wrong size, baught from the dealership in this manner. Got the car back today after further cost and the damn thing is STILL having the same issues!!!!!!! I'll be putting this thing in a jack and if these so called repairs are not done correctly they will have a law suit on their hands!!! Worst shop experience ever!!!! And then their mechanic tried to argue with me and my wife instead of admitting he didn't do his job right!*UPDATE*Finally got the car right, turns out they replaced the lower ball joints but not the upper ones, that's basic mechanical knowledge if the lowers are out you should probably check the upper ones to see if they're bad as well, if you have to do business with these guys I'd suggest watching them to ensure they do their job right, also the alignment IS STILL BAD after having it done 3x. I'll be doing my own work from now on, no warranty is worth the headache of dealing with these guys

I had a flat so my hubby came and took it off my car to go get it plugged. He tried 3 different tire shops in Opelika and all said at least a 2 hour wait....... Really to just plug a tire?! GATEWAY TIRE got him in and out 10 to 15 minutes!! We will for sure be returning customers!!!!

I had been a customer for about 2 years and they have ALWAYS changed the oil in my car since I purchased it. Had an oil change and other repairs costing about $1500 on a Thursday , all oil leaked out on Friday. Engine locked up. Gateway tried to replace engine in 2002 vehicle but could not. Gateway only paid me the money I made for repairs and only gave me $500 for my car. The car was was worth more to me WORKING for my college student than what they settled with me for. Found out they sold vehicle to one of the employees..SMH.

I would not recommend this place to anyone any type of vehicle repair. They are clueless. Spent almost two grand and they still couldn t diagnose the issue????? Took it to another place and got fixed right up. Don t waste your time or money. Too many options in Opelika Auburn area. Stay away from this place.

I got quite an estimate from them, for over 1.8k, got an estimate from another shop for $600. So i don't know the quality of the work they do, but I would at least recommend getting a 2nd opinion on cost.

I highly recommend these guys. I use them for all my maintenance for my company vehicles and personal vehicles. They also do great work on custom accessories for trucks.
