Battery died a couple of blocks away so I ordered it through the app. After I jumped my truck off, the battery was there waiting for me. The friendly, courteous staff checked me out and installed my battery. It took the about 20 minutes. I will go back and use them again, when needed.

Store manager and staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The customer experience was great and they helped me exchange my battery under warranty with no issues. 10/10!!!

Whoever is the manager at the Pepperell Parkway location is DISRESPECTFUL and RUDE. Refused to sell me a part because He was holding it for someone else. Last time I checked-It is first come first serve (ESPECIALLY when this is the only store in the county that has this part in stock because it is on back order) My husband went to get it and a white bald man (that s the only description i have-No name, nothing) and the man refused to sell as he was holding it for someone else as a favor. I would understand if the customer bought it in advance and was coming to get it but he did not. When i called up there the same man spoke to me in foul language and hung up on me multiple times and spoke to me like I was an actual piece of trash. I always go to this location and the staff is so helpful but as long as he is employees there and in that position I will not be back. Please hire the helpful and supportive employees again!

No one knew what I was looking for and was rude about it. I had to pull it up online show that it was in stock according to online and then was talked down to. On top of that they didn't have it. I've bought that exact part from them before. Will not be using the auburn on south college store ever again.

Made an order for pick up, got the email out was ready. Get there and need a few other things. Well the order wasn't ready and then they didnt have what I need. Last order never got a call it was ready, I called after 2 hours and they said it wasn't ready they'd call me, I left town and 2 hours later I get a call it was ready. They are suddenly disorganized. The presumed manager was telling the employees not to answer a specific person's phone call while I was waiting for the order to be pulled. This store is to be my goto for my vehicle needs but no more

Customer service was poor. I went in to this store and I may have been the only person in there. There were 3 workers/cashiers and another looked like he had just come in from a break. I went for windshield wipers, the young man looked it up and told me what I needed and was taking me in that direction. Well the phone rang and he said "just look for 17, I have to get this". I found that to be rude (but didn't put much thought into it), especially when I was his customer and there were 2 others that could've answered the phone.Next, I go to checkout with a different employee. I had something that was 2 for $10 and get a free item. The free item wasn't ringing up for free. So he looks at the ad, trying to figure it out. No luck. He claimed that the items were not part of the sale (although they rang up $5 each which is not the regular price AND the sign on the shelf clearly said they were part of the deal). So I politely asked if there was anyone else that could help? (Thinking another employee could just look it over to see if we were missing something) he proceeded to say that the manager was gone for the day in a snarky tone. He was an older man named Eric, I told Eric that I did not want any of the items at all. I think his pride was so high that he couldn't even try to resolve the problem by asking for help from another associate. I then left without the items and decided I would go back to the Advance in Auburn where I live. Will probably never come back to the Opelika location. Also, I had an amazing experience at the Auburn store, so much so that I will make a review on their page. :)

Great customer service and communication. Knowledgeable about what they know as far as parts and mechanics. Inventory is good for behind the counter but not as good in the main part of the store. Has sales promoting their inventory and brands while keeping good appearances and attitudes. Overall a good place to get the car part you need quickly.

I went in to buy a headlight bulb. There were 4 to choose from, I needed the basic yellow bulb and it was the cheapest of the 4. Advertised as $16.98, but when I was pronounced my total, I mentally did the math in my head and then asked why was it higher than I expected. Cashier said because the bulb was actually $17.98, by then I had already swiped my card. I asked could he had not given me the difference since I saw a different price, he then replied no and mentioned that someone must have not changed the prices on the shelf. I then mentioned that in normal cases like this, the store should honor what the customer saw especially if the store clerk was the one who helped me find the bulb. The store clerk was just all about a dollar on the clock rather than real customer service.

I ended up going to two local AAP stores in one day. My battery was so dead even the jump box couldn't get my car going again. After one of the employees located my battery at the store down the street and jumped my car with hers, I drove down to the second store.They were ready for me when I got here, battery installed as easy as can be, and I always spend time chatting with them while they work. Wonderful, friendly people.

Ok so battery died. Dead dead dead. Went to get new one, jokingly asked if they had a "friends and family discount" (this guy didn't know me at all) and he says, "Well if you order online, they always have between 15 - 30% discount, and just put store pickup. You can do it right on your phone in the store if you want." Ten minutes later I had a new battery and 15% off!!!

I don't have an issue with the staff. They are awesome. Online ordering is an issue. Inventory is off. Not too uncommon at parts houses. I ended up at a competitor's store.

Ordered exhaust manifold from there web site and when it arrived to my house I was extremely disappointed I opened the box to find gaskets destroyed due to the fact of poorly packaged so I proceed to take them to the store and see if they could help me fix the problem I was told by the manager Mr. E the only thing I could do is buy new gasket set which cost me another $40! Wouldn t even discount the new gasket set to make me feel I wasn t getting screwed over needless to say I won t be do business with them anymore and I spend thousands each year on parts he also told me he wasn t able to help because it ships through amazon or a third party which I call BS I clearly ordered from Advanced auto web site

Great service went to get my battery checked. Turned out my connection was loose on the terminals. The store associate tightened the connection this avoided me buying a battery for no reason. Thank you!

I am a disabled veteran. I was taken advantage of by Edwin J at this location.I bought 6 quarts of Valvoline 10w30 motor oil.Had a tag hanging on shelf oil on sale $3.88 per quart. Edwin J. Charged $3.88 for just 3 quarts = $11.64, $6.49 a quart for 3 quarts =$19.47. There was not any limit on the amount of quarts that could be bought.Even checked online there are no limits.Edwin J. Needs to be disciplined for taking advantage of the public, maybe even schooled on not taking advantage of the handicapped.

Drove all the way from Phenix City and arrived 10 min until Closing, upon arrival doors are locked, young man at counter looks at me and walks to the back and wouldnt allow me in.i stood there and shook the doors , knocking , etc all to be ignored .i used to do lots of business here but i won't spend another dime at this location .drove all this way because they close an hour later than my time zone but next time i will wait until my store opens where the staff is friendly and and welcoming

Stopped in to get a widow motor. Got one after driving 30 miles back home found it was broken . Noticed on picking up lady let it fall off counter and that must have broken plastic connector. Will not go back to Advance.

needs to get people who's know about parts and when u ask them something they say they can order the part but when u get there oh we can't order the part why would u tell someone u can order it and then say u can't get someone wh to knows what they are doing

They had the lightbulb I needed in stock and found me the most inexpensive one. Although they no longer put in lightbulbs for their customers
