I'm surprised but not shocked, especially with how humans treat each other regardless of their precious religions, dogmas & belief systems. I guess that is how all those billions of believers justify their treat others. I need to begin by saying that the brake job I had done on Wednesday December 13th was fine and Tammy was helpful, and courteous. The issue I am currently experiencing with a flat rear tire that I received sometime between Wednesday &yesterday afternoon has caused a cascade of events that has now left me stranded. I am attempting to plug the tire, yet I can't remove the rim/wheel, in order to inspect and repair the tire properly. I am currently homeless, disabled, and a Veteran that leaves well below the poverty level so every penny I spend is precious . I called JBs to ask for assistance and it was 1pm on Friday December 13tthey asked me tp being the car in Monday, not consideringthe fact that im unable to travel in the car that is disabledwith a flat tire. Im not suggesting that this is JBs responsibility, since they were the last ones with hands on that rim, that seems to be almost fused to the axle, but I am clearly stating a fact that I hold them responsible. I do not believe that I am being unreasonable in saying that. If businesses don't want to be accountable to their work, and stand behind it, then why even open a customer service based business? I know that if I had been in JBs shoes when I received the call regarding this situation, I would've done my best to accommodate a paying customer, especially if i wanted their repeat business. My point is that there used to be a day when people were accommodating, kind, and responsive, but I guess that is a quality that I shouldn't expect anymore. This is not the first business I have encountered, that believes that customer service stops at their threshold and what may happen beyond their doors is of no concern to them; even if was a task performed that was paid for. I was taught in my 30+ years of customer service experience, that if you think that in a service based business, that affects property that is taken beyond the businesses threshold isn't still your responsibility then we are certainly living on 2 different planets. It's like day" 2+2=4, and your saying "2+2=Thursday, there's obviously a sever communication breakdown. What I mightve expected from customer service pre-COVID is remarkably different than post-COVID. Ultimately, I would not recommend this business, due to that fact alone, more than the quality of the brake job. I do know unexpected life issue do arise but when a business gives up, or ignores a situation that could've been handled much better, and in a more empathetic, or even a sympathetic manner I believe that they will only ever do what is Expected, not what is Inspected.Friday December 15th 6pmThank you for your quick response. I really do need to apologize, but im currently dealing with many stressful issues all at once. Thank you for your offer & if I'm unable to resolve the issue by Monday morning, I will have it towed to your shop. I also apologize for not pressing you to further explain your attempt to warn me about the rims not matching the car. I take your point now, so theres definitely that. I believe there's a possibility that if the rotors, when they heated up the first time may have softened them enough, to actually bond somewhat with the rims. I'm certain you would've mentioned any issues the mechanics had removing the rims from the old rotors but, if the new rotors are inadequate or the rims are inadequate, then I will certainly be 100% accountable for that. Someone gave me the rims and he didn't mention any potential issues wirh them either. Regardless thank you again and if I'm unable to resolve it i will, but otherwise ill tow it to your shop.

This business is the best. I took my car while my wife was out of town, I dropped it off. They called me 30 minutes later and told me what was the problem. The had already located the part to be changed and had an out the door total. I told them to go ahead and fix it, they called me in an hour and a half and told me that my car was ready. They were friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced as well. I have finally found a car place that is honest and will take care of you. I will recommend them to anyone that asks me where I get my cars serviced. Thank you to the staff and mechanics at JB s Automotive.

I had a leaking radiator. They gave me a reasonable quote and was able to do it quickly! They were really nice and no bs. They'll continue to get my business!

Hands down the best shop to do business in the are, heck I will even say easily in the entire Birmingham area. You can search high and low, learn from your costly decisions. Or you can just choose to use Justin and his crew at JB's. This is the way business should always be done and ran.
