I recently had work done at 231 Tire and Auto, located on Highway 411 in Odenville. The first job was to have the wheel bearings on a Ford Focus replaced. They did the job, but after about 7 months the bearings had failed again. They re-did the job at no cost but then informed us they would not stand behind the work and if the bearings failed again within a year we would have to pay them again to replace them. I later classified this as mistake number 1.Not learning my lesson I took my 1997 Yukon to get the brakes fixed. The owner had no issue telling me how many certifications he had on brakes. I told him that if it was $200 or less to fix it and anything else I need to approve. After keeping my vehicle for 10 days and not being able to fix it I went and picked it up. He had thrown parts at it, not knowing what the problem was. I had called him repeatedly during that time asking him where he was at with the budget and he would tell me he would have to figure it up and call me back. He never would call back and that is when I went and got my vehicle. I then had to take off work and get it to another shop to get the brake lines bled, which he couldn t seem to do. That cost me more money too. When I went to pick up the car he was too sick to deal with me so I had to come back later, where he tried to present me with a bill for over $900. Thing didn t go well after that. There were so many excuses for so many things. Too busy to call back. Dealing with so many people that can t remember everything, etc. This is now mistake no 2. I won t make No. 3Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this shop may serve you well, but my experiences have been bad and I will never use them again. Have a great day.

Good mechanics are hard to find, so just settle on 231 and be happy. Reasonable pricing, reliable work.
