Took my driveshaft in to be aligned & balanced. I was told that it was fixed, that if I have a vibration it will be somewhere else. Chased the problem for weeks. Guess what: it was the driveshaft. No sympathy from them. I am $250 worth of disappointed. Cannot recommend them.

Place is ABSOLUTELY terrible. They want to give a price then after the work is done they wanna double it. Want to say when the owner works on something it s $125 a hr plus another $125 if his son works on it. So that s $250 a hr to work on something.

Made an extra effort to take a drive shaft in on Friday. Needed an estimate on cutting down a driveshaft and a new yolk. I was told they would call by Tuesday never heard a peep I call on Wednesday and inquire on a price they hadn t even looked at it Thursday. They call and give me a crazy price of almost $500. Unbelievable that it takes almost a week just to get an estimate on something as simple as driveshaft work when you hand deliver the driveshaft to them. I m taking my business to Huntsville driveshaft! I will never Grace their doorstep again

Curtis and his two sons are skilled professionals. My truck was making a loud noise, they identified the problem as a bad pinion bearing along with a damaged ring and pinion gear. Curtis called and told me about the damage and quoted the cost to replace and repair. I authorized the work and my truck was ready the next day by lunch time. I was pleased with the prompt service.Curtis showed me the damaged parts removed from the rear differential and also detailed the quality replacement parts. I received a 12 month/12 thousand mile warranty.I highly recommend Shoals Drive Shaft and am very proud to do business with a locally owned small business that does high quality work. My truck runs as smooth as silk and as quiet as a mouse.

Curtis and his crew do a wonderful job. Very knowledgeable and fair. He had us up and going quickly and we haven t had a problem since. Make sure to give them a call if you need the type of service they provide!

Curtis, I believe is the owner is very thorough with the work that he does. He and another person, has done work on both of my Jeeps. He was excellent and the price was 40% lower than I expected. He gets all my work and will always.

Went above and beyond to get me back together late Friday before they closed. The owner actually came in on a Saturday for me to pick up my finished driveshaft.

They did a great job fixing the differential on my 2003 Jeep Liberty. Customer service was friendly as well as the owner . The cost to fix was very reasonable . I appreciate the job they done.

If I could give this place a zero stars for customer service it would. But its basically the only place my mechanic would recommend. They acted like they were talking me out of getting the car fixed before ever even seeing it.

Very courteous and knowledgeable. Explained in detail what was wrong with our vehicle and gave a detailed estimate before starting work. After the repairs they showed us the old parts and were replaced and explained why they had to he changed. Highly recommended this business!

SDS made it so I could drive out there(1.5 hour ride) in get my aluminum driveshaft (C4 corvette) shorted while I waited. I just went out for breakfast and when I got back it was done ! About 1 hour. The fella working in the shop was friendly and knowledgeable. The guy in the office was friendly as well. The work was top notch and the shaft fit back in the car perfectly (they put in new U-joints) and is balanced to a T . The cost was fair and even BELOW what they quoted me on the phone . The car runs down the hwy at 80mph like new. Great job guys !!

Got my truck regeared for 35 inch tires.Shop owner forgot to put rearend dope back in my truck. It locked up .then about a year after that it mess up again. He said I must have been pulling to big of a load. And I had to pay to get it fixed.by the way this is in a 1/2 ton truck with a stock 305 motor. so he probably rebuilt it with junk he had lay around or he doesn't know what he is doing

The worst customer service I ve ever dealt with. We dropped a driveshaft off and a guy called discussing options on what we could do to fix it, such as different shaft, yoke and u-joint sizes. Curtis was in the background telling him to get off the phone. He was being very rude to his employee to the point the guy had to put me on hold. After about 30 seconds, Curtis picked up the phone and said he can t be on the phone all day, he has work to do. So basically, he could careless about taking care of his customers and doesn t have a clue how to treat his help. Mind you, our phone call was only 7 minutes long after all of that. This is the 2nd bad experience I ve had with the guy, should ve learned my lesson the first time. I d highly advise against using him.

This place ruined the driveshaft and the shifter cable on my 2003 Corvette in the process of fixing a leak in the rear end. They 'fixed the shift cable with plastic cable ties. Then they didn't tell us. After my car quit shifting,i carried it to University Chevrolet for repairs. The mechanic there showed us the plastic ties that Shoals Driveshaft used to reconnect the shift cable! I cannot recommend this place for ANY repairs !!They get zero stars from me!

Called 20 mechanics near here, this guy was 1 of 2 that knew what he was talking about. Listened on the phone and helped figure out what the problem was. I'll for sure give him a call if I get stuck in alabama again.

I would not use these people again I sent my driveshaft in to get 2 1350 yokes welded on and balanced and nothing was done right,it has the old 1310 yoke at the front and a ford 1330 ford yoke on the back and won't take the shaft back to correct what they screwed up this shop isn't worth the time to go to nor the money your better off to find an PROFESSIONALLY run shop.

look elsewhere brought in a 2 piece driveshaft after 3 days of yea yeas I went in to get what was left of my drive shaft and they had cut mine up and converted it to a one piece without my permission or knowledge,so not only do I have to purchase another one and have no part of my old one they are gona sale mine to someone else to cover their trouble on my shaft.real professional...not!oh and they never called back at times they had said they would!don't get shafted by these guys!!!!!!!!!dang I have to give a star to post truth they don't deserve one!!!
