Tony saved me $6,700 by fighting with an insurance warranty company on my behalf for a total replacement of my Sierra s transmission. He went above and beyond in helping me and I can literally not say enough about how impressed I was by their services. He brokered out a deal with GMC to put a new warrantied transmission in my truck. I shopped all over Montgomery for a good transmission shop, this is the standard.

Tony and his crew replaced my transmission in less than 24 hours. Could not have been treated better, great people on a personal and professional basis. Highly recommend them for anyone needing repairs.

Transmission went out everybody said it would be a month before they can get to it. NOT TONY'S TRANSMISSION!!!!!! Drop my truck off one day overnighted transmission the next then installed it the day after that and boom I'm freaking good to go and yeah it was that quick. They're down-to-earth extremely nice easy to work with.

Mr Tony is the only transmission shop I'll use. Was having issues with my 06 Ram 3500 and was told by one shop I needed a new one. Called Tony and after a few hours and changing out a solenoid, I was good to go. Best in town!

I was traveling back to Atlanta and in Montgomery My check engine light came on. I found information for Tony's and called him. He was very understanding of my situation and even though he is in high demand, he said bring it in and I'll check it during my lunch. Upon arrival I was greeted by his Amazing Wife who was a combination of Southern Hospitality & Excellent Customer service. She reassured me that I was in good hand. Finally Tony not only fix the minor issue I had, but he also refused to charge me for the minor repair. He wished me a safe trip and Said God Bless. I will not only recommend this Shop, but I plan on dropping a gift card in the Mail. Mr. Tony's & his wife are truly A Class Act tucked away in Montgomery Alabama.

Tony really let us down. Had transmission trouble on the I-10 coming home from a FL vacation. Called Tony late Friday and he said he could look at it on Monday morning. Took our van in bright and early. Got him the codes that had been read off our engine at a shop in FL. When I called at close of business day on Tuesday, he told me one of the codes was inside the transmission and I would have to take it to the dealer. Doesn't his shop do transmission work? Why did he sit on this for two whole days? It has become very clear that he doesn't want my business. I am beyond frustrated because I need this vehicle in good working order in order to drive my kids back to college in TN this weekend. Can't imagine the dealer or anyone else being able to fix this within 3 days. I have no choice now but to rent something. Thanks for nothing, Tony.Service: Transmission

Traveling from Florida back home to South Dakota with my two children and wife. I began to have troubles shifting into over drive. Tony got me right in, property diagnosed my trailblazer. He offered a temporary fix to get us home for a very good price! Made it safe thank you Tony!!

Tony was phenomenal. I have an older ranger that was having problems with the modulator. It seemed to be a difficult problem to diagnose since it is much older and my truck does not have newer electrical systems. It was my grandmothers truck and is one of the only possessions that I have from her. Tony replaced my modulator free of charge. What a guy. Absolutely fantastic service. I took my SUV ( 2001 Isuzu Rodeo ) to Tony to check the transmission because it was doing some slipping He checked it out real good and said that it would definitely need to be re-built.. I saved up some money and talked to Tony all through this it took him a total of three days to take out the transmission rebuild it and just picked it up today On Wednesday 9/2, It is running wonderful, Just like new and mine is also a four-wheel drive He made sure to check all those parts and components did a road test with it just everything by the book. I was recommended to Tony by some people that he had done work for in the Wetumpka area where I live and work at and they were spot on about him and his wife do very helpful and in my opinion with over 34 years experience he might cost a little more, But you can bet you will get the most thorough job out of him then any other Transmission Shop in the Tri-County area. Thank you Tony for all your help and your great work and keeping in contact and updating me on everything.. A+++

I called to ask if they could CHECK MY TRANSMISSION FLUID IN MY 3004 JAGUARS, BUT SHE WAS SO RUDE,AND TOLD ME,VERY HAREFUL,WE DONT WORK ON THOSE CARS ,SHE DIDNT GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN, THAT A TRANSMISSION MN has to check, because it underneath my csr,but she rate my day and no I will not shop there,and will tell evert one I know that has that PROBLEM,DONT GO THERE,TOU MIGHT GET CUSSED OUTBEFORE YOUR cR in ready

We met Mr. Tony and his wife when we dropped off our truck. We believed that it was having some transmission issues and it was, Mr. Tony said that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. He was gonna charge us a diagnostic fee, but when he saw how bad off the truck really was, he didn't have the heart to charge us. He was very nice and told us what he thought we should do with the truck. Everyone please go see this gentlemen, if you are having transmission issues. He was awesome!!

I have a 2002 GMC Envoy has been one of the best cars I have owned. All maintenance up to date with 209,000 miles. It quite shifting into overdrive so I called around. Tony's rated was the best recommended from reading the reviews and talking to over car specialists. Took it in and Tony called me about 3 hours later with the new, myoptions and what he recommended. Decided to have a rebuilt. When I pick edit up 2 days later, he gave me a detailed explanation of the work done. Tony was very professional and listened to my questions about the rebuild and explains specific thing he did to improve the finished work such it drives now better than when I bought it. I couldn't reccomend him enough. I've been taken several times in the past from shady experts. You wont get any of this at Tony's just true honest and professional service that is very hard to find in today's market

I was traveling through to vacation and had trans. Problems. l thought we'd be stranded.we didn't have much extra money. Called around and Tony came highly recommended. He had us back on in under an hour just over a hundred bucks. Very friendly and we had a great conversation and if we lived in the area we would use no one else but him.

Very pleased! Our 2014 Honda CRV was shimmying and shaking often between 25 and 45 mph. Tony drained and replaced the transmission fluid and put in some additive, resulting in a smooth ride. I'm nearing the end of my 3,000 mile trip from Mexico when my truck's transmission decided "basta!, enough!" We limped into Tony's after 9 AM. Tony and his lovely wife Janice made sure my wife and son were comfortable and they had a reasonably priced rebuilt transmission with a 3 year warranty delivered by the afternoon. They had me on the road again by 5:30 PM the same day! This family-owned business is honest, friendly and courteous. While I was waiting I noticed that there were happy repeat customers in the waiting area, some having brought their second and third cars there for service.

My transmission went out while traveling to Houston to see my mother. I ended up between Greenville, Alabama and Montgomery, AL and was having difficulty finding a shop including dealerships that could assist me. I called several shops in Greenville and there was a two week wait for service. I decided to call in Montgomery, Alabama and was referred to Tony by another transmission shop. I called and Tony answer the phone and agreed to take a look at my vehicle the next day to have it towed to his shop!! He called the next day told me what needed to be done, and when to expect my car to be finished. I was in Montgomery, AL for 2 days and my car was done a whole day early. I was able to get on the road the next morning, and made it in time to see my mother 2 days before she passed away. I am forever grateful to Tony, his wife, and his employees AND all the work they did to get me home on time. THANK YOU!!Service: Transmission

Tony worked on my transmission in November 2014. He was timely, professional and friendly. That's not the reason I write the review though. I started having problems with my transmission in December 2015. Just out of warranty. I came to see Tony and told him about the troubles. Tony took the car in and rebuilt the tranny all over again. It isn't only about how someone does their work but how they stand behind their work. I will be back at Tony's and I will happily trust him with my car :) A great place and a great guy.

Tony's Transmission was very busy but the owner came out and ask if he could help me. Explained noise I was hearing. Tony went out of his way to drive my truck up the road. Said it was not transmission but a simple idler pulley. Saved me several thousand dollars.Can not say enough about this honest man. God BlessService: Transmission

Had Transmission work done a few months back, and was pleased with attention and services I received which I was told by Acquaintance they were the BEST in Town.It was done in a Timely fashion, and within the Quote that was given.Had a chance to meet their Staff, and Professional Service Techs, which help me to make my decision. Would recommend a call to them for any needed repair or rebuild. THANKS again for the GREAT JOB.

Tony is the most honest person I have ever dealt with. He is a straight shooter and will not sell you anything you dont need or try to pull anything over on you. Tony is the only one I go to when I don't fix it myself !

I was traveling from Atlanta to New orleans for a volunteer trip. 30 minutes south of montgomery I had a big-time break down on the side of I-65. With a little calling around and no help from the local Ford dealerships, we had our F-350 diesel pickup towed to tony. He was very helpful and even stayed a little late so that we could take care of the rental car and get back and unload our gear. While the damage was extensive and expensive (transmission, drive shaft, and 4wd transfer case), tony got the job done and even came in on Sunday to let us get the truck on the way back to Atlanta. Real nice guy and runs honest shop.
