I needed front and rear breaks for my van after an accident. Mr. Kavaris Purnell gave me excellent customer service. The price was average the waiting time was decent. I was able to watch through a window as they worked on my van and noticed that the crew took excellent care of my van. I highly recommend this store

I dropped my car off December 20, 2023. I received my car back on Feb 2, 2024, after I called corporate 2 days prior. I'm thoroughly displeased with the amount of time it took to service my vehicle which went in for a water pump and timing belt change. I paid $900+ and couldn't even drive my car smh. There's something wrong with this location. Over the last 6 months there have been 3 complete staff changes. New guys that don't know to properly put in charges, etc.Dometrius, is the technician that has worked on my vehicle previously and he does pretty good work especially with troubleshooting. Hopefully they are/have been getting more qualified staffing. I definitely feel like I should be compensated for the inconvenience.

This store is very unprofessional from the staff, the manager and condition of the building. They sit and bide their time and while doing so, they are discussing personal information and being very vulgar. I got an alignment done to my vehicle on 2/1/24 and on 2/2/24 I went elsewhere to get a balance & rotation and was told about the condition of my tires after I have already paid for an alignment. If they were doing their jobs instead of playing then I could have done what I needed to do prior to getting an alignment or a balancing. I do not recommend this particular PepBoys in this city.

A great experience from start to finish, customer service was amazing. Percina communicated the process clearly and was friendly and helpful. Arthur explained the work completed and answered any questions I had. I really enjoyed this trip and was treated very well. Will recommend their service.

Second time visiting from MO and forgot to get oil changed. Called Pep Boys and was told to come on in. Not only did they service my truck, but they got me out early enough to make church service with my mother. I highly recommend this facility.

I would like to take sometime to write my review about the Pep boys on Zelda road, The manager on site Mr.Ray is a pleasant person who knows what it means to respect his customers, the technician that was assigned to my vehicle was very knowledgeable about what was going on with my car. I asked if I could look at the issue and they didn't hesitate to allow me to see my car. So I truly appreciate all that they have done for me today.

Thieves and liars. Fixed flat tire incorrectly and it went flat again. Took it in a second time and they said it needed to be replaced. When I said it's under warranty and I wanted a new tire, they miraculously fixed it. Will never go back!

After a blowout and waiting for 2 hours for a tow, they got us fixed up within 20 minutes. I would give them 10 stars for their customer service, Especially Miss Rae who helped check us in and out. She made a bad day turn better with her help!

They turned up when we needed them the most. Our vehicle was towed to their shop, they assessed it and said they could fix it and get us on the road again. A gesture we appreciated. Their service is quite expensive though I must add but overall I recommend.

I really wish that you can give negative stars because this is the worst pep boys I ever went to.I understand they are short staffed but that doesn t give them the right to mess up your vehicle.It took about 4 hours for an oil change which I completely understood but when I got my car back, I literally drove maybe a half of a mile and when I sped up to go into the Highway my car made a funny noise, literally sounded like something broke under my car, i immediately pulled over and called them to let them know, and they said your car sounded fine when I pulled it out but drive it over here and we can look at it.No way was I gonna drive my car because I had no idea what was wrong with it. So I had it towed back to the shop, they wanted to know what kind of noise it made and I told them it was my drip pan. No apologies, no reimbursement for the tow. Absolutely nothing.They didn t even complete the vehicle inspection, or check my tires which is something that is included with the synthetic oil change. The only reason I know they didn t because I have a tire indicating low air pressure and it has a message displayed on the dash.

Ray was very helpful! Im from out of town and it s the holiday weekend!!! Had no clue how I was going to get home but Ray found me an affordable tire and put it on for me! He was soooo nice and knew just how to help. I m so grateful!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was told my car would be ready the next day. At the end of the day I called and they told me it would be ready the next day. No one bothered to call and let me know anything. The next day same thing. They finally get it ready after 3 days, call and tell me to come pick it up.When I get there the tech is "test" driving my car. He returns almost an hour later. Obviously out running errands in my car. The car smelled horrible and was dirty.You could not pay me to go to another Pep Boys.

Ray is Awesome!! I came in with my 2023 VW needing my AC serviced. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He got me in and out in no time.. Thanks Ray!!

The customer service was horrible over the phone. His attitude was short, snappy, and obnoxious. He wasn't versed enough in the craft to give estimates without you allowing them to do their $110 diagnostic.

Purchased tires online at Pep Boys website plus scheduled appointment about 2 weeks ago. Called store the day before to ask if tires were in. Associate said yes and asked for me to go ahead and come in earlier to get tires put on. I was unable to so I came during my scheduled time on the next day. Found out my tires were not there and then the Associate was very sarcastic and had a rude personality. Manager was there the whole time and did nothing. Once I stepped outside to call corporate, then that's when the store manager started trying to be helpful. Mix ups happen all the time so I was not upset about the tires not been there. It was the customer service and the rude behavior from the Associate that I did not appreciate. I did finally get my tires changed but I will never go back.

No real issues with the service itself, but if you are going there for a rideshare inspection, make sure you ask the price ahead of time. I trusted the $19 listed in the Lyft app and didn't ask, then ended up with a $66 price. Not a bad place, just ensure you have costs for everything quoted directly from the establishment.

I had a flat tire on the rear passenger side and this nice couple had an air pump and put enough air in the tire to get me to the nearest auto place, which happened to be Pep Boys. Walter, the manager and his crew got it done! Walter was so helpful by helping me save on tires and as a result, I bought four new tires! If you need tires and is from or in the area, please go by Pep Boys on Zelda Road in Montgomery, Alabama, see Walter and tell him that I sent you.

Was told they didn't have a tire until a manager went to see if one was in stock. The lady at the front was very nonchalant and seemed like it was a bother to assist you. I had to ask why the tire was the price it was and was not told the brand before they put it on. The service to put on the tire was great. The front person, not so much

Pep Boys on Zelda Road had fast and friendly service. Robert was very quick to assist, Bobby assessed my vehicle and made sure the job was done right. Walter made sure that i was served properly and serviced correctly.

Zero stars-Had an appointment, but couldn't be seen for 2-3 hours asked the service writer if she would call me to bring it back that day. She said she would. Was also told by her that I probably needed suspension work, two new tires and alignment. Three days went by before they called me. I brought it to Wetumpka tire where they said I only needed an alignment- that saved me $hundreds and they were able to do it in the scheduled time.

If I could give the company "zero" stars I would. I'm pretty fair when it comes to reviews! But negligence that could cause personal injury, I won't stand for that! Something as simple and putting 4 tires on correctly, is not one thing to incorrectly do because it could cause the tire to fall off and cause an accident. My mother drove off with confidence thinking the vehicle was taken care of by the technician, only to discover they did not tighten the nuts on her two tires on the rear of the vehicle and it was unsteady. You could literally take your finger and spin the nuts because they failed to tighten them properly. There is a "Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act that allows you to bring a claim against the dealer for the negligent repair." So if they knew better they'd do better. Something that is so basic and so essential to safety like failing to tighten a lug nut could be found to be a willful violation. I would not recommend using the Pep Boys location on Zelda Road.

Seemed like a family owned business of nonchalant employees and volunteer teens. GUARANTEED you will leave with more issues than you brought the car with. Very unprofessional and will lie in a heartbeat. Pep Boys on Zelda Road is Trash!!! Save yourself the headache.Update July 25, 2022: Found out they installed faulty coils and spark plugs in my car.. Get this, charged me for tune up but didn't replace all coils & the ones replaced were old and used. TRUST THE REVIEWS!! save yourself unnecessary frustration!!

My car was acting up and I left it with them, telling them what I thought the problem was after having done research. They called me shortly thereafter to tell me I needed a new engine. I knew it was misdiagnosed and asked them to just please replace the part I thought might fix the problem. They refused, saying it would not be of any help. I asked them to humor me anyway and I wouldn't hold them liable if it didn't help. They still refused and charged me $110 for to tell me I needed to buy a new motor. I went straight to another shop, and within 2 minutes he diagnosed the problem - the same problem I had told Pep Boys. He had my car back to me the same afternoon, purring like a kitten, for $155. I wanted my $110 back from Pep Boys. But when I FINALLY was able to talk to a Pep Boys corporate rep after many attempts, I was on the phone for 40 minutes and then told I would receive a call from the district manager within 2 days. That was 2 weeks ago. Most incompetent business with the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

I go here for oils services because as a free rewards member you always get a good discount and the front desk clerk is a pleasure. He's always super busy taking calls, dealing with customers, and communicating with the shop guys, but he does it with a smile on his face. An oil change can sometimes take over an hour, but I don't mind waiting because I feel like it's a pleasant atmosphere and I know they are doing the best they can.
