I inquired about the vehicle online, and Jacob returned with information via text. He was very informative and answered all of my questions. He provided a true out the door price and provided additional pictures of the car. I decided to move forward with the vehicle. We started the process over the phone, and I made the trip from Atlanta to Montgomery, AL. Upon arrival, Jacob had everything ready for the test drive. I decided to finalize the purchase, so Jacob introduced me to Business Manager Markus to complete the deal. Markus was very thorough with explaining the paperwork and answered any questions that I had. The process was quick, and I was able to get on the road back to Atlanta in no time at all. This is the best new car purchase experience I've had in a long time! My salesperson, Connie, has a no haggle, no games, attitude toward new customers. Back in 1987, I found my freedom in a brand new Honda Accord. Since then, it's been Hondas all the way wife's 3 Odyssey minivans, kids' sporty Accords and Civics, and a few more Accords for yours truly. I have been buying from this Honda dealership since 2016. Every time I come I am always greeted by Markus the business manager. He delivers exceptional customer service all the time and is very knowledgeable and professional. This is my third time buying from Markus and he goes the extra mile to make sure i am pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a Honda and to everyone that stops me and asks where I got my car from.

Oil life is at 20% and they refuse to change it for free until it hits 15%. They never mentioned it had to be at 15% when I scheduled the appointment. I have a road trip coming up and they said to get it changed while I'm on the road. The workers were friendly, but that is a ridiculously strict policy. Their inability to work with me is why they get 1 star.

A great service department! I had a engine light come on as we were traveling thru Montgomery so looked up the closest dealership on google maps and found McConnell Honda. So drove to their location and it was a few minutes before closing time. The service department were very nice and checked it out and found a loose negative battery cable so tightened it. That fixed our problem. Sorry I didn't get their names. But thank you so much to get back on the road with a eased mind. God Bless & thanks again !!!

I have a Honda Ridgeline. I took it for service. And they were exceptionally professional in checking my engine and changing my oil. I was in and out fast. And they are very courteous and they get the job done right. They come out and explain in detail exactly what needs to be done if there are any additional problems that could possibly occur in the future.

I m highly disappointed in my experience with Honda. I will try not to make this super lengthy. I needed an alignment on my 95 Honda civic. I had an appointment on July 22 (Saturday). After a few hours I was told the technician that does that doesn t work on weekends. And that I would need to return AUG 3 (Thursday).Being it being my secondary car I left it there. Thursday rolls around and I get a phone call saying that my car failed the inspection, BC I have aftermarket suspension parts they couldn t work on it. Also that I had a safety hazard, which I did. I had an uncovered fuse block, which should ve been a phone call to me to bring that cover.I came to get my car and NO inspection actually took place. They saw the fuse block and just said to Hell with it. LASTLY, a technician broke my shifter knob. I called that SAME day and other days waiting for a manager (Mr. Pat I believe) to reach back out to me. It s been 17 days now.

Went there with a check from my own finance company to purchase my daughter a car I looked online at. I knew the exact car I wanted for her(2019 Honda Civic 10,007 miles). Nigel greeted us & was the salesman. Trst dtove the car & went back to purchase it. He worked a great deal for us & explained everything in detail. The waiting time was a bit long but the service there was great. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

Honda Montgomery.. Rude, unhelpful and also lied about having a recall part in. I really hate we brought an 2018 Honda accord. Car comes with a lot of life or death recalls and no help for our local dealer

Tammy Green is a five-star service advisor. I have two Honda vehicles and she is always helpful with scheduling service, communicating exactly what is needed, and keeping in touch in case anything comes up while the vehicle is in the shop. My wife and daughter were on a trip from Dothan to Nashville last week when she had trouble with our pilot south of Montgomery. She drove to McConnell Honda the nearest dealership to her. The service department was very very busy but she was treated like she was the only person there!! Tammy Green in service went above and beyond to help my wife and daughter out. Upon realizing they were traveling out of state she immediately had the service manager drive and diagnose my wife s Pilot. She then helped secure a rental next door for my wife to continue with her trip. We always try to buy from a local dealership but we ve never had the impeccable customer service like she had this day! We will from now on be driving to McConnell Honda with all of our business whether it be sales or service. Thank you Tammy for treating my family like your very own!

If you've never shopped at McConnell Honda, now is the time to start!! My 1st trip was yesterday and I had an amazing salesperson, Jacob, no pressure and super knowledgeable!! Came back after work to complete my purchase and I was promptly introduced to the Sales Manager, Jere Knox, who welcomed me to the McConnell family! Next up was Bobby, who made the whole financing process seamless and was entertaining as well ! Thank you to all three of you guys for making my new car purchase so fun and perfect. I drive only Honda vehicles and have serviced them all at McConnell for the last 25 years. The service department is reliable and trustworthy and they are Honda experts. I feel confident my vehicles will last forever under their care. They have also been very fair with me when something breaks just a month or two out of warranty. I have purchased my last 5 vehicles here.

This review is for their service department only. I moved here from Savannah, GA (which had an awesome Honda dealership Southern Motors, highly recommend if you re in the area), but I digress. This is the closest Honda dealership to me now, so I go here for oil changes, tire rotations, and so forth. Anywho, there always seems to be a hassle when it comes to scheduling appointments because there s not a way to do it online, and it is apparently difficult for the receptionist to connect to a person just to make an appointment. Last week, I called four times and kept getting put on hold each time until I made the point that I was getting put on hold and to please connect me with a person. Apparently they have only one person that can make service appointments I am finally connected with a person and the appointment is made about 30 seconds later.Fast forward to today (my appointment). I pull into the service bay and it takes the rep about 10 minutes to come out and take my information (when almost always there is a worker already in the bay). I m wondering if this dealership has fallen into the trap of other Montgomery establishments as far as providing subpar customer service, or if it is specific to this dealership, but it may be worth the drive to another Honda dealership.

Ms. Tammy Green has been my service advisor since 2017. I started using McConnell Honda after a mishap with my vehicle at Firestone. Ms. Tammy and the technician Rob (retired) took their time to explain to me everything that happened and what was needed to have the vehicle fixed. Ms. Tammy is the best service advisor and always gives advice on the best option for service to my vehicle in any given situation.

Good Customer Service is hard to come about these days, so this review is much needed. I always have an excellent experience when taking my vehicle to McConnell Honda! The service staff is always generous and very detailed when it comes to needs and wants pertaining to my auto services. I never leave there feeling uneasy. I would not take my car anywhere else. This was the worst experience I ve ever had at a Honda dealership. Was driving home through Alabama and all of my lights came on and car started running hot. Had the car towed to McConnell because it was the closest Honda dealer on July 16th. Got a call on the 17th and they were to going to look at it. They called and said it was the turbo, was approved by my warranty company and was work was completed. While they were doing the test drive the temperature gauge was still going up. That was on July 21st. I was told that they need a bay to do the tear down and by they should be able to get it in that week. No communication till the 27th when I asked if work had started on my car. No work had been done yet, said that a tech had been out and they were behind. On the 31st I got a message saying they hoped to start the tear down that day. Not hearing anything, I reached back out. As of August 7th, the tear down had not yet started. At a month without my car I still wasn t getting answers. On August 16th I was told that the warranty company did not approve my claim. I needed a new engine. It s a 2017 CRV with 77,000 miles on it. Was told that I should call the warranty company. Asked then who they showed as my warranty company and the person I talked to (a woman) told me American Warranty. I said that wasn t my warranty company and she said that it was under that umbrella. It was not. Told me that they had to have someone else come out to do the inspection, and since I got my car in Philadelphia it had to be someone from there. The number of blatant lies that I was told on that phone call were insane. I told her to have a tech call me back. No one called me back. My step mom called them to see what was going on since I wasn t getting anywhere. The person that she talked to said that the claim was denied because they thought that it was fraud. Zero idea where that could have come from. I told my original tech that my mothers name was on the car, I have that in a text along with my warranty companies information that I provided the second day they had my car. So, finally call back with anger in my voice and not taking no for an answer. Magically, my claim was suddenly approved. Given an estimate of August 31st for completion. Called a few days before that and was told my car was ready. Without having received any phone call letting me know that it was. Also, when I called they said they showed a customer balance for the tear down. He was able to get that taken off, but not without letting me know that they have problems with the Honda Care paying the guys. So, if I wouldn t have said anything, they would have tried to charge me for that.Communication horrible. Awful customer service.Only at the end did I find out that it wasn t even ran through my warranty, it was run through Honda Care since it was certified pre-owned. Would not ever recommend this place.Also, not that this is on them, but I was coming back from a vacation and had lots of stuff in my car, one being a case of soda. Since it was left in the Alabama heat, of course they exploded and now my backseat is mildewed.

Bought my new Pilot here three months ago and the sales process was wonderful. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for their service department. After five days, two voice messages and a lot of time on hold, I went to King Honda in Auburn and on one phone call had my appointment. Here I am, getting my service completed, still wondering if McConnell will bother returning my calls Hence the four stars.And, please, don't respond that you'll work hard to earn my business, that ship sailed several days ago.

I want to highlight that I had the best experience with Tammy Green and Horace. My car had to be towed there due to an accident I was involved in. I was having a very hard time with my insurance company and Tammy stepped in and completely handled the entire process ensuring that me as a customer was a priority and fully taken cared of. She kept me up to date on the status of the claim and my vehicle from the beginning to the end. I really appreciate her diligence and the exceptional customer service that she provided me. She truly went above and beyond. I only want her as my advisor moving forward even for things as simple as oil changes! I have made two car purchases from this business. My first experience was excellent. My second was not quite as good. I dealt with Mike Carter for both purchases. He is an excellent person to work with when buying a new car. I strongly encourage using him if you go in.My issue on the second purchase is that, I waited a month for a car to come in. During that time, I had to continue driving my car. I was told the trade in on my car was going to be $19,000. I decided to buy an available trim level instead of waiting on what I originally was trying to buy because of a pending out of town trip. When I submit for the car, I said I was going to throw an additional $500 on the down payment. Well, next thing I know, they let me know that the value of the trade in is being reduced by $500.This really put a bad taste in my mouth for a couple of reasons. 1. I came a month prior to make the purchase, and they didn't have the car. I feel like they should have honored their original quote on the trade in. It was their problem that prevented the purchase. 2. I frankly found it suspect that I was going up on my down payment the exact amount that they reduced the trade in value. They knew I was increasing the down payment before they requoted the value of the trade in. I'm not saying it was some underhanded BS on their part, but I do find it suspect.Maybe I got taken advantage of by finance. I don't know. I know this concern will weight very heavily on future purchasing decisions.

Found out they have severely overpriced their services. For a basic oil change and tire rotation we were charged $200 here. We just moved to Vegas and were told at the Honda dealership here that the max should be $75 and that Honda gives military discount. Do yourself a favor and drive up to Auburn.
