If I take the time to leave a review, good or bad, then it is much deserved. Disregard every horrible review you've read about this place. That may have been their experience, but it certainly wasn't mine nor my wife's experience. We checked in around 10:30 pm. The young lady who checked us in was all smiles, friendly, prompt, professional, and courteous. We went to our room (211), opened the door, and there were no bad odors (musty, cigarette smoke, body odor, etc.). This is always my, "must pass the test" before I completely enter to stay the night. Next is cleanliness. I always pull the sheets back and thoroughly check all of the bedding- everything was clean. I check the bathroom rather well-it was clean. I then walk around the room and look under beds, tables, window ledges, and the corners of the room to see if there are any dead bugs-there were none. The TV, lights, outlets, microwave, refrigerator, air-conditioning and heating all worked really well. At this point, we were completely satisfied and happy with our room. The beds are comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast bar is good as well with the sweetest lady running it. All smiles and willing to help with whatever you need. The ham and cheese croissants are wonderful! Everything here was clean and well maintained. We stayed two nights and had no issues with anything. We recommend staying here and we will stay here again if ever in Montgomery again. Thank you.

Do not stay at this hotel. I think most people only stay for a few nights and typically do not see some of these problems based on previous reviews. I was there for a few months due to work. In this time, I changed rooms 3 times and each room had very similar problems. my biggest complaint is the cleanliness of this hotel, it is horrible. First and foremost, there were cockroaches in my room. The hotel manager tried to blame it on migration and mulch in the south. Secondly, the housekeeping staff just doesn t do it, even their executive housekeepers. Housekeeping did not clean my room, not even the days they said they were going to. I had soiled sheets put back on my bed, wet towels put back, trash not taken out, most days would just skip my room all together and so much more. Even had issues with my car; my tires were be flattened every single night for nearly a week. The only good thing about this hotel is the location in relation to food and shopping and the some of the front desk personnel were nice. Not the quality of staff, cleanliness, or experience I expected from a Fairfield Inn, especially Marriott.Nearby activities: Shopping.Food & drinks: The only good thing about this hotel is the location to restaurants.

During the stay with my 19 other classmates attending a course on Maxwell AFB we experienced several health and safety concerns which went unaddressed by management.First, one of my classmates was robbed outside the hotel. Upon talking to management, management essentially said there was nothing that could be done because they closed down the salvation army nearby which was causing a lot of the homeless individuals or poorer individuals to drift the direction of the hotel, that there were no cameras on the outside of the hotel, and that car break-ins were more likely this time of year as well. The individuals who robbed her weren't homeless, they were in a car waiting in the parking lot. The robbers also stated that "they said you would have money for us" and had pointed at the hotel. Management said that we should all drive around the parking lot to check for any suspicious individuals and call the hotel before coming in if we thought we found anyone suspicious. There needs to be cameras installed.Additional concerns were the amount of bed bugs in multiple rooms that the sole remedy was to move them to another room where they also found bed bugs. And not just bed bugs, several classmates were finding larve type bugs crawling on them in the middle of the night and throughout their bed. When walking through the hallways, there wasn't a single day where dead or alive bugs were on the floor. One separate matter is that an individual had to move rooms because whoever was in the adjacent room was smoking so much marijuana it was getting into her room, and contaminating her clothes, uniforms and she had her dog. Upon the cops being called, the "best thing" that could be done was move her to another room, AND THERE WERE BED BUGS.One individual returned from work one day and her room had been left unsecured by the cleaning crew and the hotel management had nothing to say besides sorry with no statement that they would engage with their cleaning crew to ensure they aren't leaving rooms unsecured. Additional concerns were brought up such as there being mold in bathrooms around the soap/shampoo dispensers and individuals coming back to their room to find their toothbrushes had been dropped on the floor during cleaning. This isn't even the total list of issues experience.I will never stay at this location again or any Marriott after this experience. I have never seen such careless/negligent management and service in a hotel. I would suggest whoever is above this hotel have a steep look into the management at the 8970 Eastchase Pkwy location and consider inspecting and adding safety measures.Rooms: Bed bugs and other bugs in a large portion of rooms. Rooms left unsecured after cleaning. Toothbrushes knocked off sink and left on floor by cleaning crew.Safety: Individual robbed outside of the hotel in the hotel parking lot. No security cameras on the building, management's response was that you should drive through the parking lot to look for suspicious activity before exiting your vehicle.Noteworthy details: Management is negligent and generally doesn't seem to care when attempting to address issues.Bugs, alive and dead, on the floors throughout the hotel.

From the outside, all looks great, but after checking in, well, that's when the issues started to show. Our room had two TVs, but the one in the bedroom did not work. It was giving some error about the webpage being too big. Check-in was a breeze, and it is a pet-friendly hotel. Breakfast was mediocre, and I did not show up for breakfast two minutes early. They provided a mobile key for my cell, but I could not get that to work well. I was supposed to be upgraded through Bon Voy app, if I was I certainly could not tell. The bed and pillows were comfortable and they did have hot water in the shower. One last thought, I could not connect the WIFI to any of my devices and the internet Tv did not work either. Far from the typical Marriott experience I usually have.

We had to change rooms 3 times for a 2 night stay to get a reasonably clean room with all amenities working. First room after check in the bathroom was not clean, 2nd room bedroom AC had mold on vent, suite area AC did not work at all, ugly residue/staining in tub. 3rd room suite area thermostat battery was dead, toilet had to be cleaned before we could move in and shower pipes had duct tape wrapped around joints. Save your money and go to Motel 6 for this kind of service. Trust me the reviews about this place are real.

What made this experience great & most memorable is the elite customer service. We booked here for a team event the weekend of the June 16th. The staff at the front desk were all pleasant and accommodating. We must give a special shout out to Moses. He was extremely pleasant and welcoming to our group of team parents...We may have had too good off a time in the lobby, however Moses along with other desk staff ensured that we were more than welcome to enjoy ourselves "happily" in the space. There was not once that Moses was not smiling, and/or inquiring if we were in need of anything. (Please forgive me for not knowing the names of the other desk staff), but the young lady working along side Moses during our stay was all of the above as well. Grits were great the 1st morning...a little watery the next but no biggie, still enjoyed the breakfast. Coffee was hot & fresh. The complimentary waters were very refreshing... still wondering what brand of bottled water it was. stay. Rooms and hallway were clean. The outdoor patio seating is very cute. Eateries in walking distance & shopping centers very close by. Overall very pleasant stay.

I checked my God mom, who is also a senior citizen, into this facility for 5 days. From start to finish, she was treated with the most outstanding customer service possible. We checked in with Moses. He has the absolute best personality for Customer Service. Everything we asked of him was taken care of immediately. He treated her like she was his family. I had an issue with my receipts that no one else seem to be able to fix. On the third day when he arrived, he handled it as if it was not even an issue. The breakfast staff was amazing. They assisted her in getting her breakfast and on a couple of occasions, even took it to her room. She constantly bragged on how wonderful housekeeping was to her. Heather would check on her every day. She went above and beyond to make sure that my Godmom was comfortable. Every single staff member that I ve met at this facility worked as if they were working in their calling. This is in fact an awesome staff at an awesome facility. Clean, friendly, and affordable!

The Good: Front Desk Personnel; Breakfast offerings and taste; outward building maintenance and cleanliness and Location. The Areas for Improvement: Cleanliness of the Room (dirty mirrors and floor); bedding (pillow covers had laundered in stains); lamp shades were broken and were crooked (couldn t fix them); bathroom walls were stained. Definitely not what I expected from a Marriott property.Rooms: Poor dirty floors, dirty mirror, stained pillow cases and stained bathroom walls (near toilet).Safety: Felt very safe and secure

The only great thing about this hotel was the staff. The room was not clean, dust was caked everywhere. The dust was so thick on the light fixture in the bathroom it was hanging down and staying intact. The shower made an awful sound and the sink didn't drain properly. The walls were paper thin. Every time a neighbor flushed the toilet, the elevator dinged, someone walked in the hallway, etc. I could hear them. We did not sleep well. The wallpaper is coming off in the bathroom by the toilet. The furniture is rough and the mattresses has a yellow tint to them. One of my kids has bite marks on his legs from bugs. The floor and the CARPET was sticky. To top off the entire experience, when my husband and children walked out to load up the car, a man was standing at the door and asked my husband for weed. The only great thing about this hotel is the staff. They were AMAZING! I just expected more from a hotel that was over $200 for one night. If we wanted a room like that, we would have stayed in a $60 a night motel.

Loved this location. Will always stay here when I come to the area. Housekeeping was amazing. The 2 women who came to service the room where beyond respectful and professional. Breakfast was amazing, hot an fresh. Pool was inside an it was very clean. The gym was up to par with any free standing gym. The beds was so soft an the room stayed so dark an cool. I work 3rd so that was a big bonus for my stay. Look forward to returning.

Love this hotel. The staff was AWESOME! Sheila was the front desk representative made me feel at home. The breakfast area was clean and the food was served HOT. Both ladies who tended the area were friendly. Moving on to my efficient house keeper. She followed my instructions and my room was kept and cleaned nicely.

My family was here for our family reunion. Everyone was pleased with the accommodations, the staff was wonderful, location was great and it was budget friendly. All enjoyed their stay.Rooms: Everyone was pleased with their rooms. One family member's air conditioning went out. The staff immediately transferred them to another room without delay or hesitation.Nearby activities: Conveniently located to shopping, a variety of dining and fast food eateries, some nite life is close by, gas stations, the interstates ( I85 and I-65), and just a few minutes from downtown Montgomery.Walkability: You could walk to a few of the eateries around the hotel, however, I would not suggest for safety, there are no sidewalks in the area. There is a gym in the hotel if you are trying to get a some exercise in.

Our first room was nasty, but we were moved to a cleaner room. Breakfast was really gross: no milk, watery meats, etc. The floor was so sticky that our shoes were sticking to it. The hotel has the potential to be a nice place to stay.

I liked my room, I stayed about a whole week, I paid for an extra night yesterday as I did a couple times .. I was told if I stayed a month my rate would go down so i liked that. The worker that works morning with dreads gave me a hard time I feel from jealousy But this morning she told me I had to check out cause someone booked a reservation nobody told me a reservation was made on the room when I paid yesterday and how you have it open when it is occupied.. which inconvenienced me and my kids last minute cause all the other hotels was booked due to it being Valentine s Day weekend. But we finally came across one that is much better and the staff is very friendly I felt I was treated very unfairly by her even the house keeper, and the guy that goes round to get linen was like they did not understand that and also agreed with me!

Our room was clean - however ! When I took a shower and pulled a towel out, there was a long, dark, very noticeable hair folded into the towel. That was a but disturbing. Also, when traveling with children- having something to get them excited about makes things a bit more smooth. We got this hotel because it advertises an indoor pool. Our children were talking about swimming the entire way there, only to find out the pool is closed for construction. This put a stressful night on our shoulders listening to the kids complain.

I should probably clarify that I didn't actually get to stay at this hotel, but I had a great experience nonetheless. I had booked and paid for 6 days through Expedia and got to the hotel around midnight, only to find that their system was down and they weren't able to accommodate me. However, the night manager went above and beyond the call of duty to find me a room at another hotel down the street. He absolutely did not have to do this and prevented what could've been a very long night for me.

We stayed at the Fairfield for the ASU spring game. Jacoby checked us in quickly and provided us with prompt and professional customer service. He attended to all of my service requests in a timely manner. The next day when we were checking out , Jacoby greeted me and my guests by name! We were pleasantly surprised and impressed that he remembered who we were. His service added a great touch and made the stay at the hotel even better. We ll definitely choose the Fairfield the next time we are in town for a game.MPNoteworthy details: Excellent customer service

My parents are Gold members and we will never return!!! Some of My family and I came here from Birmingham for a short period of time and decided to stay at Fairfield in chantilly. I must say the room here was horrible for the pricing!! I was in 232, my parents were in 203, and my aunt and uncle was in room 304 a couple days ago. And all our rooms SMELLED!!! There was BLACK MOLD in the shower were the shampoo was!!! The tv, pictures were FULL OF DUST But the WORST part was the gossiping of the housekeepers!!! I should not have to pay hundreds of dollars and maids are overheard very LOUDLY CURSING and talking about other maids, while I m trying to sleep EARLY IN THE MORNING!!! The rooms were filthy and the whole staff should be removed with there bad manners!! I will report to corporate! Clearly there boss has to be very unprofessional to have housekeepers who are so UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

My room was alright for most part I technically got hotel for the inside pool for the kids. The pull out couch was smaller then I've seen while traveling. My sister had a bad experience though Hair all over the bed , dried feces on toilet they tried to transfer 3 rooms and they all had issues with housekeeping standards. Breakfast was decent. By time we came down lots of stuff was out one of the ladies was super sweet n took care of us. A great multi Tasker. She should be the manager if she ain't already...I was going to mention that the only thing that grossed me out was the mattress cover looks like it never gets washed it had a bunch of stains and hair all over it I understand it's probably time consuming to wash those but would be nice to get a clean mattress cover to sleep on

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNTIL THEY RE FULLY STAFFED!!! Arrived at the hotel at 2pm. Although, check in is at 3pm. I put in the time of my arrival on the app, it was confirmed. I checked in at the front desk and was told it was too early due to the hotel being short staffed for housekeepers that the room wasn t cleaned yet. I left attended a party. Came back at 7:30pm. And I was informed that the hotel did not have anymore rooms available!!! How is this possible? I felt like they knew this the first time I checked in and tried to play it off! They offered to pay for a hotel across the street by the name Choice. My husband is a Marriott employee and has been for 14 years. I don t stay in any other hotel other than Marriott. And I won t start today. Especially when I booked this hotel two weeks ago!

Only good thing was the unit was clean. However, the unit was in poor upkeep.1. There globe was missing on the wall light. Just an exploded light bulb.2. My wife pointed out that there was a problem with the light in the bathroom. It has black electrical tape holding it together.3. Worst of all, about 1:30 in the morning the front cover of the heating and cooling unit fell off and crashed on the floor causing my wife and I set up in the bed terrified that sounded like someone had just kicked the door in. Not worth staying here! I have pictures but no way to upload.
