My experience at CTE is always informative and pleasant. Everything I have ever bought or repaired has worked with top notch quality and performance. The bonus is, all the employees are kind, loving and so professional. Their willingness to help, makes me feel at ease as a woman who s learning how to use and take care of my products. CTE is my home for lawn equipment. Thanks for your consistency and support.

I purchase my mower in 2019 from CTE. I received good service up until 2 years ago. When they would come get my mower it was never serviced the way it should have been. I was charged 3 to 400 dollars each time. This year they were supposed to have changed my oil and did not and my mower motor blew up. I'm a 74 year old woman that was depending on the service for my mower. I know it was my fault for not checking the oil but I trusted these people to do what they should have done. I purchased the extended warranty, when I needed it, I was told that the insurance company was not a good company. Question is: why sell it then? They never return your calls either. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Took my mower in for the annual service and the results where not good. The tires were not inflated, the mower wasn't cleaned and it had oil in the tray. I told the tech about it and he told me to unload it and they would take care of it but the first impression is a lasting impression for me. Done with CTE

Bought my mower from these guys last year, and Justin continues to make sure it's running like new. Both services have been faster turn around than expected, now was washed, and they've always been friendly.

My experience with CTE has been frustrating and disappointing, so much that I'm writing a bad review about a company for the first time ever. I purchase a go kart in December 2022 for my 6 year old son's Christmas present. I was so excited to surprise him with it, but thanks to CTE it ended up being a huge disappointment on Christmas morning. It cranked and the axles spun but but it would not drive. It turns out, when CTE assembled the go kart, they failed to install the axle key. We were unable to use it until after Christmas when stores opened. I had to find the part and find someone else to fix it, since CTE was closed for a week. Once it started running, the chain kept constantly falling off. When I took it in to CTE to explain what happened and get chain fixed, it was an attitude of indifference from the staff. There was no offer to reimburse me for the expenses I had in repairing the go kart that they failed to properly assemble. They supposedly fixed the issue causing the chain to come off, which they blamed on a warped sprocket (something else they should have checked upon assembly). The battery wires were also installed incorrectly at assembly, which caused the battery to die continuously. The go kart continued to have the same problem and I've been back in with it several times. It's now been there for weeks for them to again fix what they already claimed to have fixed and while they ordered the wrong part and have failed to follow through on any promises to call me back. And it's nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone. I literally have to drive there and check on the status if I want to know what's happening. I've been very patient with them, but when I expressed by frustrations their answer was that it's not a good brand of go kart. Which begs the question...why do they sell it? To make a buck and then ignore customers who have problems with it? This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've had with a company.

After spending years buying a new mower ever two or three summers we finally broke down and purchased a Honda from CTE. Although more expensive than one you might get at Sam's club, it has lasted 3 times longer than any mower we have ever owned. I like that we are able to get is serviced yearly at CTE as well, and their prices are reasonable. We will be buying our next mower there also.

Visited CTE Outdoor Power for the 1st time for a push mower service...just wanted my blade sharpened, spark plug changed, oil change; the basics. The gentleman at the counter were nice, and made good conversation. The main guy helping me said the annual service would be $50-$60. I told him that was fine because I only spent $300 on the new mower. However, when I came to pick my mower up...why did my bill come to $102 [nearly double what I was told?]I explained my concern to the guy that was completing my invoice and his reply was..."maybe he told you wrong." I did not want to argue, so I politely paid, got my mower and made a decision that I would patronize this business again. Lastly, I made it home..looked under the mower and the blade looked as dull as "A Mid-Summer's Night Dream--with a hangover." Gentlemen, I hope you enjoy the extra money that you charged me. It pays to be honest and Do Good Work!

Customer this great. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all my questions and I bought my first ZTR mower from them and had it delivered. And the gentleman who delivered trained me in the operation of the mower, and ensured I had a good grasp on how to run it before he left. I was very impressed and appreciative!

Went local. Bought a Stihl hand-held chainsaw, 175$ last year, 3 yr warranty, Staff ready and willing to help. Tops in quality and care. They do maintenance.

Disappointed with my experience with CTE. First time I used them but will not go back. I don't like to leave negative reviews so I will just state the guys upfront were great to deal with but it ended there. After several weeks with no work preformed on my mower (which I understood due to their backlog) and out of pocket $80.00, I took it elsewhere. It is performing fine now.

I go here frequently and make smaller purchases of pine straw. Though they sell high ticket items like riding lawnmowers, they never treat me any differently than somebody walking in to spend thousands. You re going to get personalized quick service, not like going to Home Depot.

The best experience I have ever had when purchasing a mower Chad was on top of everything from beginning to end I have very bad back issues but he helped me through the process of getting a Cub cadet zero turn I am now back to cutting my own lawn. Thanks CTE

I took my hedge trimmer to cte to get it serviced. I had to pay $50.00 up front . This was mandatory. The reason being is that they will go through the machine to let me know what it would cost to repair. I told the person ,if over $200.00 no. They told me $249.00. I said forget it, but the mechanic said he could get it running for $159.00. I said ok. Well that didn't work. They texted me and said it would cost $222.+. I asked why. He said the fuel lines need replaced . Well if he went through the machine the first time,how come he didn't fined that. For the $50.00 dollars I payed up front . I told them don't do anything, I will come pick it up. Let me know . That has been 3or4 days. I just hoping I get it back intact. Haven't heard from them.?.

I took my mower to get a battery holder for it it has been a month and I have not gotten it back yet don't have them fix anything unless you have a lot of time to water and no one will answer the phone I would like to have my mower back ASAP my lawn I getting to long to mow wit a mower I need a brush hog

Called and requested part for our mower. Gave them the part number and they said they had it and would set it aside as I live a half hour away. They gave me a price for it. When I got there the old part and new did not match. Said they had another one and it did match. Was its would be 46.00 something and the other part was 19.00. I asked why and was told the one was a kockoff and the other was from dealer was how it would be. They could have told me this before hand or asked me what ti looked like as they knew there were 2 different ones.

No high pressure sales, but was able to answer all questions I had. Was looking for a GoKart for our Grandkids and they helped find the one that worked for us. Will definitely be back when purchasing a lawnmower

A shout out to Eddie at the parts counter. I needed a starter, spoke with Eddie, he confirmed stock and went the extra mile and pulled it and held it for me at the counter until I could get there the next morning. Great job sir, you represent CTE well.

The guys here are the best in town with the lowest prices. You just don't get that combination anymore. Mike helped me out with the best product for my job as well as the most competitive price in town. (I checked four other places) David was extremely knowledgeable when fixing my equipment. He gave me advice on where to go and what I needed for all my future and current maintenance. I will absolutely come back here for rentals, purchases or services on any small engine equipment. They also support the troops.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AND OVER CHARGES FOR PARTS( STIHL POWER SAW )!They sell bad equipment and also SELL USED equipment for new they EQUIPMENT ALWAYS BROKEN AND THEY PATCHES IT BACK TOGETHER AND STILL DON T WORK AND MESS UP AGAIN AND DO NOT want to WARRANTY ( they want charges to much on repairs when you still under WARRANTY ) THEY ALWAYS WANT TO REPAIR IF YOU CANNOT FIX IT GIVE THE CUSTOMER A NEW EQUIPMENT ARE THEY MONEY BACK Especially when it is in a good timely mannerAnd the part that he needs for the power saw you ll want charge $200.00 and it is only $12.00 WHAT A RIP Off

4 months ago my husband wanted to upgrade our mower He was a zero turn with a bagger. They picked up our mower and we still haven t got the new one. They are Not good about contacting the customer with updates on the order. So we re going somewhere else. In all fairness to this business available is not their fault but lack of communication with a customer is bad.

We stopped by the store just after closing time on a Saturday looking for a push mover. The store employee saw us an re-opened the store for us. He was very helpful by explaining the different models of mowers. He also explained the warranty and additional warranties that we could purchase. There was no high pressure and he took his time answering all our questions even though the store was officially closed. We purchased a Honda mover and he even serviced it for us right then so we would not have to wait until Monday to pick it up. We are very happy with our purchase and the service that we received.

I bought a new Scag Tiger Cat 2 from CTE about a week ago. I have to say this was an excellent experience Michael was very helpful worked very hard to help me through out the entire time. I was looking and comparing the John Deere to the Scag not once he Michael put down the John Deere he showed me the man6 advantages the Scag had over the John Deere. I also very much appreciated the honesty and integrity he displayed which also is a big reason I chose the Scag, I was lied to by a salesman at John Deere at one dealership and another dealership I was told that he could sell me the mower for the price but he wouldn t make much so he didn t want to sell it, those 2 experiences alone helped me decide that my after the sale experience probably would be as sorry also. Michael helped me select a Scag which is a very high end and high quality machine there was no pressure just friendly service and a willingness to answer all my questions. I highly recommend purchasing from CTE and Michael. Great job you ve earned a customer for life!

The convict-looking tattood guy at the front desk didn't even speak to me; too busy surfing the web & drinking coffee. the other lady had a very poor & disgruntled attitude, like she was pissed off that she had to put down her cigarette out back to 'help' me.Take your business elsewhere if you expect courtesy and professionalism. If you need a $800 push-mower then this is the place for you! I'll never spend a dime in this shop, even though I loved my CTE in Auburn & have done business there for ten years. Shameful.Even though good help is hard to find: I would pay the extra $1/hr for somebody who will treat customers with respect. I came in this store to PAY for a service & ended up ordering my parts online and doing it myself.This bad experience would be forgivable if they were busy and booming, but this was not the case. Their staff were just lazy & rude & condescending.

Took our chainsaw for repair. The pull cord had come out. When picking it up the first time after repair when we tried to crank it there at the store the cord came out again. We were told a part was broken and needed to be ordered. After several days part had still not come in, so we rented a chainsaw from them. When the part came in and again went to pick up the chainsaw upon returning home tried the chainsaw again. After about 3 pulls the cord once again came out . Took the chainsaw back once again and was told we were the problem. Totally unprofessional.

Picked up on Friday, repaired and returned Tuesday. Repaired as requested and mechanically, it had a nice "tight" feel to it. Definitely inspired confidence in the repair. Also, I am embarrassed to say, the mower had a lot of grass clipping on the blade deck. It came back cleaned (they didn't have to do that, but it was really appreciated).For those of us who do not have P/U trucks with trailers, their delivery service is a life saver.Great friendly people, throughout the transaction.

Traveling and needed a new starting cord for generator . Got me in and out quick with great price and service. Tyler , the mechanic was super nice and helpful... answered questions I had about my generator.
